Econo Lodge

Don't judge a book by it's cover. Honestly I enjoyed my stay here! It is an older building but it is well kept. It was clean and the rooms were actually pretty nice for the price point you're paying in a resort town. Desiree was amazing and helped take of care of us, she went above and beyond to make our stay worth while. You really can't ask for more in a small mountain resort town where other resorts run 300+ a night. When I come up here I'm only in my room to sleep. I'm not looking for 5 star accomodations. It was a great stay for a warm, safe, and clean place to stay!

I love staying here. I have become a regular guest while my home is being built. The online Easter Egg hunt was such an original idea and the family movies in the gameroom is awesome. There's nothing the management won't do to make sure all their guests are comfy

Needed somewhere to stay for a night when our plans were cancelled. Excellent fast service. A nice warm room. Clean.

Continued improvements to property are great. Ask about the gameroom there is a fireplace, air hockey, fuseball and pool. Board games and books 📚 👌

Rooms smell very good beautiful view and good costomer service

The rooms are really nice and clean they have been updated beds are comfortable. Braden was who helped me in making the reservations for my elderly mother and I so that we could see the colors of fall. Braden made our check in so easy and smooth we had a handicapped room very close to the office which made it easy to get the great breakfast in the morning that they have in the office. Views from our room were beautiful and the fresh mountain air was great. We will definitely stay here again!!! High five to Braden for a job well done!!!

Excellent affordable hotel in quiet Eagle Nest. Second floor lake view rooms display the valley in a manner not seen anywhere else in town or even in Angel Fire. Even better than the views is the awesome staff - I was fortunate to stay for a week and met most of the caretakers. They are the highest quality of people and made my stay more enjoyable. Put this hotel on my radar permanently.

We had a great experience with the new owners. They were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ready every morning in the lobby. They worked very hard to accommodate us in any way they could. They even removed a night when we had to leave earlier. Rooms were clean and cleaned daily.

Very clean and well maintained. For a budget hotel, this one is a winner. Super friendly, helpful staff provided both breakfast, and an excellent posole for dinner. We will return.

Excellent experience here. Very friendly owner, good breakfast, cozy, very clean room. I appreciate the heat lamp in the bathroom. Water pressure was great, a nice relief after driving in from Florida 😊.
My dog was welcome as well.

We had to stop early in Eagles Nest on our way to Taos due to a snow storm that blew in. We stopped at the econolodge and were greeted with a super warm smile and a handshake from the owner. The room was nice and warm. The bed’s were comfortable. Very clean setup. Breakfast was also great. Nice FAMILY ran business. Not something you see too often. Highly recommend this place.

The rooms were nice and clean and the staff was polite. The only bad thing was that I was accidentally charged for an extra day by the manager, but he made sure to help fix the problem and get my money back. I was upset about it that day so I posted a review on here which was partly exaggerated and partly truthful. Overall it was a bad review, and I feel bad for some of things I said. But once I left the review, is when all hell broke loose. He called multiple times a day. Leaving voice mails, and even threatening to come to my home town 2 states away. It was harassment. He harassed our family and told my parents that they didn’t know how to raise a kid. All over a review. So remember, if someone leaves a bad review of your business, call and harass them because that always works. And if you stay at this hotel, just don’t leave a review.

The manager is super friendly!! The rooms were recently remodeled and look awsome!! We had a cozy stress free stay!! I highly recommend staying here.

Great rooms! The view from upstairs is awesome. There is also a lounge upstairs and they give continental breakfast with waffles and cereal with fresh coffee!

Clean rooms, New big Towels.
Beds are comfortable...
Only down side is the parking is tight.
Definitely will stay again

The rooms where nice. Modernized and clean. Great location and great price for the middle of ski/snowboard season.

Great people and nicer rooms than expected should be a higher level of hotel with Choice Hotel.
