ALL of the water in this "creek" drains from under the rocks like a huge spring! Simply amazing!!

Fantastic place. In any other part of the country this would be a national park, but hey that's Colorado for you. I recommend getting out here for sunrise in the spring to fall months, but it's frequently foggy here in the morning. If you can climb to a nice vantage point you can see the aspens change color on the other side of the lake and the reflection thereof. Yes of course bring a camera.

Beautiful snow capped mountains and glowing aspen trees. Birds singing everywhere. So calm and serene. Lovely temperature in June.

Great views, good hiking! We hiked a couple of trails near the bus drop-off, but there are many to choose from. Have a fun time!
