Amazing set up. We stayed in the 4 person Cabin. Great authentic cabin feel. Booking Feb. 20-22. Caught a snow storm sled down their sledding hill. Hiking trail in back was fantastic. Not many complaints. It's a campground with all the conveniences.

This campsite has over 400 sites, full hookups. They have 24-hour laundry and heated bathrooms with showers that are very clean. You'll love the location, in town, but only a few miles from the Lake.
They also have a swimming pool, playground, basketball court and grills...this location has it all! Keep in mind the tent sites are closed during winter but they still do allow you to car camp and tent camp but in an RV spot where it has been winterized. $50 a night. They also have a general store if you need any last-minute supplies or memorabilia.

This is fall season. Nice and quiet. Still looking for a bear. Lady in the store was very kind. Clean RV sites, big dog run. On line check in was very easy. Late September is a good time to go. Tahoe's fall colors re beautiful❤

Very hospitable staff. Very nice place for kids. Lots of different options to play. Hamster roll was our kids favorite. We loved the corn hole beanbag toss and horse shoes. There is complementary beer in happy hour and live country music which was very nice. Good sanitation all around. Bears come very often including 2 days we were there. Highly recommend.

We rented a cabin for my mom and an RV space for our family, the staff is amazing and welcoming, the amenities were great, heated pool, clean bathrooms for RV spaces, the cabin was cozy. They aren't the best at answering the phones so just be mindful of that if you need to speak to someone prior to your reservation, but once you arrive they are amazing. We looooved our time there and can't wait to head back. Oh! And we even got to see a mama bear and her 2 cubs from our campsite! It was sooo awesome

More of a luxury camp site than a regular one. Always music and very busy. Has lots of different amenities! Great time tho to sit back relax and have fun. If you want a quiet campsite that isn’t as busy then I’d suggest looking else where. Still have an amazing time!

Loved this place!
It's perfect for families with loads of activities hosted Wed-Sun. Plenty of things to do on your own too: pool, biking/sledding the hill, ping pong, horseshoes, large playground, etc.
Lots of spots, some seem tight and awkward, but not too bad. Great tree/shade coverage.
Close to town but far enough away from the congestion.
Showers are sparse, and with how many bodies at the park (many tent campers too), plan to wait - or just use your own rigs facilities.
Staff very friendly and helpful, and actually seem happy to do so!
Perfect vacation location!

Big, beautiful campground with many amenities and great friendly staff. Sites are decent size and utilities work. Fairly shaded sites in wooded area.

It’s very kid friendly since thousand trails took it over they have so many activities for the kids! They do loan you basketballs and volleyballs to play. My family vamos every year and we enjoy it. Make sure to put the food away because bears will come.

We loved spending the weekend with our kids and friends. We took our trailer and stayed at site 106, my friends stayed at cabin and they loved it! We also had an great time walking around the park in the snow and also going sledding (they have a sledding park) that was SUPER fun. The kids had a wonderful time sledding and so did us adults! The staff was AMAZING! I can not remember their names as I'm not good with that, but the ladies at the bear store were super friendly. We ended up staying 1 extra day because of all the snow and they were very nice on helping me and my friends to extend our stay. On Sunday when we went sledding there was 2 employees on their day off snowboarding and they were super nice! They even helped making the hill wider for the kids to be able to go sledding and make the jump which was fun and hilarious! Will definitely go back for more!

This part is beautiful! Staff are wonderful. Not sure if it’s the holiday weekend but they have so many fun activities for everyone. This place is kid and dog friendly! Nice pool, park and dog park. Close to everything but you feel way out there! Service is ok. We couldn’t connect to the WiFi. The 64’ of snow took its toll on some of their sites. We I’ll definitely be back.

I love that forest affect. When really, you’re just camping around the corner from your house it’s really well taken care of. The maintenance people come by every day to check on each site which is super nice in case you have something you need to be done love the group camp spot. I’m looking forward to staying in August. It’s great even for the day and it’s very large.

This campground is so much fun! It has a pool. A little general store. A laundry mart. Great playground that has a merry-go-round, a great big wooden hampster wheel, swings that are really long, a little kid play set with slide, basketball court, horseshoes, tetherball. On some nights in summertime there's a great big tent and inside they play family friendly movies on a big projector screen and serve freshly popped popcorn. Good hiking trails. In the winter good sledding hills. Friendly staff.

Large park that can accommodate anything from tents to big motorhomes. Staff is friendly and helpful. Main store is closed Mon & Tues, which can be inconvenient when you need something. Park is quiet in the evening and littered with tall pines. A very comfortable park.

Omg best place I have stayed. The office had the nicest people I have even Encountered. Best stay ever. They have a sledding area for kids in wintertime. Can’t wait to come back in summer. Also never seen cleaner bathrooms and showers at any campground you can tell they take pride in there camp.

We had the best time at Tahoe Valley Campgrounds. They have everything you need at this campsite. We had so many activities planned around Lake Tahoe but we canceled many because we didn’t want to leave the campsite. The pool, playground, activities and outdoor movie theater made it so much fun for the kids and I. All the staff was friendly and helpful. I do not have one bad thing to say about this place. We will definitely come back.

This Campground has everything. I believe there's a movie every night. They even had a bag piper walking through the campground for an hour one evening. There is a list of events for every day of the week and it's a very kid friendly place.
There is no bear boxes on your site and they do have bears , so plan to lock your food in your car. We did see a big bear one night. On another night a neighboring camper had a bear inside his unlocked truck eating his food. I would definitely recommend this place. If you go here make sure to hit up the pizza place across the street.

Wow. It's like a summer camp. So much to do for the kids. Activities all day. Pool, ping pong ball, Cornhole, horseshoes, the list goes on. A market onsite is always appreciated. I love this place.

Amazing place to stay. The staff is so friendly and always ready to help, even go out of their way to accomadate to their guest.
The laundry (app/coin service) was a life saver.
My boys 13 and 9 loved the playground, and the evening attractions (movies/karaoke/etc).
Family friendly and pet friendly (big plus in my book).
We will be back.
