TEC has been a great company to work with. Great people, good personalities on the job, good work, fun parties, helping celebrate a birthday, you’re noticed here and you matter. TEC is probably the best company I’ve worked for in the 5 years of my apprenticeship. I’d recommend this company to anyone!

My dryer stopped working, so I bought a new one which also did not work. I called many appliance dealers and electrical companies but all were too busy or not interested. Angi.com quoted an exorbitant price.
My day improved when I called Tec Electric and Chris apologized for my having to wait a day. When Josh arrived he got right down to work and replaced my faulty circuit breakers. He also found an old problem with an exposed wire that had been hidden with electrical tape and fixed that. He then put the dryer back and made sure everything was working. Tec Electric went above and beyond and I am a satisfied customer.

We just needed a small job done (add a circuit for a dishwasher into a kitchen that did not previously have a dishwasher installed). I called many different local electricians, and was told by most of them that the job was too small and they didn't want to waste their time on a small job like that. A few other companies came out and gave huge bids and seemed pretty uninterested in the job. TEC had someone come out, they were super professional, they got us a very reasonable bid super quick, and then they came and did the job in a timely manner. We are thrilled with the quality and speed of the work, and even better, the bill just came the other day and it was less than the quote! I have already recommended them to friends and family, very impressed with their service!

We needed a few outlets that were ungrounded protected. Tec Electric responded to our call quickly and they have great customer service. An electrician was able to come out just a few days after our call. They are practicing covid safety. The electrician who came was extremely knowledgeable and competent. We will use them next time we need any electric work!

Just had Tec Electric do some rewriting for my house and they did excellent work. The technician was punctual, professional, and informative. I will be using them for all my electrical work. I highly recommend using them.

While these guys are a commercial company, focusing on commercial level projects and operating on smaller residential maintenance jobs through larger property management companies, they still went out of their way to help me. Without going into much detail, these guys not only take great pride in their work, as they should, they also take every pain to ensure that they themselves operate to the highest standard of excellence. Ensuring that things are done the right way. I had a whole fiasco come up involving myself, the rental company managing my residence, and TEC-Electric. TEC-Electric was incredible to work with, and instrumental to the resolution of that situation.

Having operated in a number of major companies in leadership and managerial capacities, I feel qualified to state that the managing personnel at TEC-Electric set the bar high for moral professionalism.

Called with a conduit fitting issue - talked with Greg Evertsen - cost was prohibitive for his shop to help, but he took the initiative to find me a supplier. Above and beyond.
I hope to swing work to them later.

They are awesome

If I could give negative stars, I would. They were incredibly unprofessional and had zero communication and nonexistent customer service. I was told the job to connect my hot tub would be around $300, which is similar to other jobs my family has has done by other companies. Without saying a further word to me or even knocking on my door, the job was finished. Then a week later I got a bill for $720!! When I called about it, I got stonewalled. They said it was due to product cost and didn't even address the two extra hours I was billed for when the tec wasn't on site. Nothing was communicated to me through the entire process and no one I spoke to afterward wanted to do anything to address it. They never admitted to doing anything wrong, stating that it was my problem now. Oh, they eventually gave me a $20 discount, saying that was the best they could do. These people do not help their customers at all and seem to be out to steal all the money they can from their customers in an incredibly dishonest way. Shady Carr dealerships won't attempt bait and switch tactics of this magnitude. I don't know how they are still in business with behavior like this. It all sounded like a very typical response to them. I will never recovered Tec Electric to anyone for any job again.

Based on a review on their website (no job too small) I contacted Tec Electric to repair an outlet. I was told they are a Commercial business and I would be better off contacting a smaller company. Hmmm, guess that's what I will do.
