9/28/22 - all pics are all new and was just taken today.

It’s a must see!!! Gorgeous!!!Videos and pics don’t do justice. The air is so fresh and clean. Being with nature will make you happy and feel 👍🏼 good!

Make sure to bring a sweater or a jacket. 80 in Denver and low 50’s once you’re up there.

The fall has come.

Excellent views while driving in. Hiked Bierstadt a few times and have found it a peaceful hike as you spend time on the mountain. Glad I was prepared for weather as it went from wind to rain to sleet and white out snow in a matter of minutes. Had a tracking app to keep me on trail w/o cell service as I couldn't see the trail ahead. Great hike on spring snow too! My 1st 14er of many to climb

This trail is so much fun! It was my first 14er and one I will never forget! It has amazing views from start to finish! In the beginning it starts out easy and is actually a little deceiving but once you get closer to the top, it’s pretty challenging but doable if you’re at a decent fitness level. I saw lots of families on the trail as well who went up a good ways and went back down. It’s easy to stop and turn around whenever you need to. When we were getting near the top, my lungs were definitely burning and had to make several stops but once we made it to the top it was phenomenal! Views all around and even some snow patches plus marmots at the top were hilarious and very curious. I would suggest you start early because the afternoons can have some rain in the summertime and we even got a tiny bit of hail on the way down. I seriously can’t say enough about this experience and I recommend it to all!

Beautiful views from every direction. The color of the small lakes are gorgeous. Hiked Mt. Bierstadt which makes the views even better. Parking lot and bathrooms were clean. Highly recommend to go during the week to avoid a lot of traffic.

Great trail with beautiful views! I guess we were lucky and it wasn’t crowded at all. Enjoyed it. Good that I took binoculars with me because we saw some mountain goats on the way.
Also we stayed at the campground for the night and saw a moos walking by very close to us. That was scenic.

Crazy-packed on a summer's weekend morning!! The trailhead itself has a restroom and is well-maintained, yet not nearly enough parking to accommodate the large number of weekend warriors and hikers, mainly because it supports trails to both Bierstadt and Squaretop. The trails themselves are clearly marked and improved, with obvious cairns and well-maintained pathways.

Beautiful. Scenic. On top of a mountain. Stunning. Lots of different ecosystems. Marmots! Pikas! It's a paved road from Grant to Georgetown. Nice day trip destination from Denver.

Took a day trip to go hiking up to the peak of Mt. Bierstadt. This is located just to the south of Georgetown, CO about 11 miles from the center of town. You can park at the Guanella Pass Trailhead, but get there early as this is a popular 14er. At a Level 2, the hiking trail up is not bad for the first two miles until you hit the switchbacks. Then you are on rocky terrain above the tree-line for the remainder of the climb. Ending in about a 100 foot elevation change to the top by climbing over some of the largest boulders of the ascent. The average for this climb is around 3:00 hours for the novice climber. It did take us under two hours to descend. The views are incredible and you can catch glimpses of other 14ers on the list to check off on your next adventure to the Rocky Mountains.

This drive is beautiful! I was stopped along my drive by a small herd of sheep crossing in front of me and grazing all around me. The views are magnificent! It's a great relaxing drive that I highly recommend.

This is the starting point of one of the more popular 14ers near Denver. If you like the outdoors and have an athletic side to you go climb this beautiful peak. Start early and dress warm.

This is a great drive, very simple to get there take 285 to Grant, or i70 to Georgetown and take the road marked for guanella pass. There's not a ton of people, and there's plenty of photo ops along the way to the top

Perfect place! Mostly hiking with some solid scrambling and climbing toward the top. Long day, but every minute was worth it.

Nice trailhead, paved the whole way. Has a lot of parking, but with how popular it is you still have to get there early. Don't panic if you see lots of cars when coming up the way from Georgetown, everytime I've gone there has still been plenty of parking a little further up. There are a couple of restrooms in the lots. Standard trailhead bathrooms, they're not amazing but get the job done.

Gorgeous views and tons of camping spots. You must get there early because it's all first come first serve. Be aware that most areas are free so bathrooms and trash cans and running water is not available, unless you are in an area that you have to pay for

One of the prettiest passes we've driven. Also some good fishing and pretty water falls along the drive.
