We finished up a 9 day stay at Camp Eagle Nest! It is our favorite spot to stay in “our favorite valley”!! This was our 5th yr. To stay on the back row. The park is under new ownership and the new owner has made many improvements.
The office is nice and welcoming. The laundry facilities and meeting room are nice too! We are excited the new owners are bring back our favorite spot! We cant wait to make our reservations for next year!

Had a wonderful experience at this place. Had a blowout on the road and Billy changed my tires for me. Bobbie and Cara at the front desk were extremely helpful as well. Met the new owner, Dallas who’s is not only a friendly and helpful young man but hard working. The park offers great views, and wide roads so it’s so easy to back into every space. I will be back!

We ran into an issue with our rv while we were there, and the owner could not have been more understanding and helpful to us. The rv park is in a beautiful location near restaurants and shopping. The new park across the street was amazing!

8-2019 We stayed for a week in August. The people were so friendly. They even had a Hawaii themed pot luck. They have a potluck each month. The view was amazing. We had a giant field of wildflowers, the lake and the mountains to enjoy. Bring your hummingbird feeders!!! They are every where. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The sites have plenty of room. They are grassy with gravel pads and roads. We saw a lot of wildlife while in the area. A heard of Elks, group of turkeys crossing the road. While sitting on the nice picnic table provided we could watch deer every night grazing and graded to the lake.

We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed ourselves. We ended up with a shady spot which was bonus because most of the sites are treeless. It's a great location to go fishing at Eagle Nest Lake or on the Cimarron River. I highly recommend. All the other RV parks in town look very crowded with spaces too close to each other.

While not a problem caused by this RV facility, my Verizon Prepaid service did not work up here. This is a roaming area. Good thing we had wifi at this RV park.

I did not stay in the Rv park...but I was there first week of October 2017. It was a really clean and quiet little town. As we approached the area of this Rv park there was a vehicle blocking the road. So we pull in to the rv parking lot and park for a second, then suddenly a baby black bear runs across the road. I knew then...that it was a special place to me. I'm a bear lover...can't wait to get back to Eagles nest.

Very clean, trash receptacles were provided for each site. The community center was clean and accommodating. Bathrooms and showers were clean.
