The Wine Room at Taylor Pavilion

Let me start by saying that the Wine Room has become my new go-to spot for any occasion. Recently, I celebrated my birthday here, and it was an experience I won't forget. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. But what truly blew me away was their willingness to go above and beyond.

Knowing it was my birthday, my best friend collaborated with the bartender (days before) to create a special cocktail just for me. After discussing my preferences for flavors and spirits, he crafted a beautiful and delicious drink that perfectly captured my taste. It was a thoughtful gesture that added a personal touch to my birthday celebration and showcased the bar's commitment to exceeding expectations. Such a great experience and will be recommending it to all my friends & family.

The bartender Luke was extremely welcoming! Made me feel comfortable in just our first interaction. Extremely informative with a fantastic personality. Definitely will be back again and actively promoting the establishment to all my friends!

My husband and I visited to the wine room at Taylor pavilion for our 11 year anniversary tonight. We could not have had a better experience. It was 11/10.

Fantastic service. Beautiful atmosphere. Delicious food and a massive selection of drinks. We had champagne followed with red wine… and both were excellent!

Even higher marks… they accommodated my celiac disease with numerous gluten free options… that’s not easy to find in most places. And honestly, I’m going to dream about that ahi tuna dish tonight.

These guys care. Period. Stopped by for a drink and snack. Host was incredibly friendly. Server initially seemed standoffish about the host not alerting him of our seating, but it immediately became clear that it was because he cared so much about our experience. My wife and mother had a very unique Romanian wine, and I had a cocktail with apple butter (Grandma’s Copper Kettle) which was a perfect autumn feature. The baked Brie was a great amouch bouche before checking out other Old Town establishments. This was the most knowledgeable and caring staff we had in Winchester.

I had a great experience at this restaurant, went during a brunch special and the food was delicious! The menu was a bit limited but everything was a little unique and the food was made with bright fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was really cool and the staff were awesome, we had one of the tables in the couch area which was comfy. The sausage gravy and biscuits was outstanding, highly recommended it!

Finally made it here with some friends. We had great drinks, service was great and waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. The Kent is an excellent twist on an Old Fashioned. Definitely will be back. Update: made it back and drinks and service were still fantastic.

First and foremost..as soon as you walk into The Wine Room you are greeted by kind and welcoming staff. This environment is lit up with not only colors but energy, the lighting is just right to make you sit back and relax and enjoy your time. i’ve been here only one handful of times and i’ve enjoyed each experience. i would highly recommend The Wine Room.

Not only is the atmosphere great for date night, the wait staff can’t be beat.
Crispin is an absolute jewel and I have never seen an employee more invested in their business. He knows the menu, the pairings, just the right amount of time to visit his customers. Truly an asset to this business. The cocktails were great, the food was good, but overall a really nice experience.

They host fun events. We most recently went to their wine and grilled cheese pairing. Superb!

I visited this location to visit with some family in the area. My group was already seated when I arrived 5 minutes before our reservation time and drinks were already on the way. The wine and liquor selection is at least extensive, if not excessive, and the food was quick, fresh and absolutely delicious. The interior has a modern touch, teetering on the edge of busy, but it plays well as a backdrop to conversation and laughter and does a lot to make this location feel cozy and novel.

The only downside to our visit was the lack of chorizo and cheddar cheese, taking one of our groups favorite dishes out of the running, but what we did receive was original and outstanding.

I can fully recommend this location for a quiet drink in a cozy space or in a group setting.

Great place! Amazing food with an extensive wine collection and excellent service! Love that they’re keeping it trendy with the QR code which makes it easy to access the menu in real time (without taking up precious real estate on the counter) and makes checking out the newest additions easy as as can be. It’s my first time in and I’m definitely going to be a repeat customer!

My husband and I were traveling home to Pittsburgh from the Outer Banks and chose to spend the night in Winchester. We walked through Old Town and stopped here for a glass of wine. The atmosphere was great and Crispin, our waiter was outstanding. He greeted us immediately and remained attentive during our stay. We observed him taking care of several tables with patience and professionalism. He is truly an asset and should be commended.

This was our second visit while passing through the area. We had the same server who is always outgoing, knowledgeable, and friendly. We shared some small plates along with a lovely Rose, then shared an amazing dessert. Definitely a place to stop if you are anywhere near Old Town Winchester.

What a gem! They have a small, but well selected wine list that complements their menu well. I shared several appetizers with friends over a bottle of wine. All were delicious. The staff was engaging and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is posh and cozy. Can’t wait to go back.

Tyler and Shawn are amazing host in the welcoming fun space. Plush purple velvet sofas, beautiful soft lights and right off the walking mall and across from the garage. Try the Octopus label wine!!! It's amazing. Food they have a tasty Mediterranean bread that is so very good and full of rich flavors. The cheese tray is so amazing it's hard to share! Tell 'em Kerri Lane sent you!

Excellent food selection pairings. I actually don't even drink wine (beer girl) but the white sangria was perfect with our cheese platter. Looking forward to trying all the food pairings. Nice to have a foodie option on the walking mall. Apparently they also do live music so will be back for that.

The bartender, Jared, is a shining example of one man’s dedication to perfection. It is truly refreshing to see someone perform their work with solid confidence, sterling competency, and superb craftsmanship.
Honestly, he is the best bartender I have ever seen in action. Spot-on pours, perfect mixing, and an attention to detail that is often overlooked.
He deserves an obscene tip for his efforts, as they are well worth it.

We went on a Monday at 2pm. It was worth the wait to eat a later lunch! Everything was a 10/10. We were so sad when it was time to leave!!

We had an amazing meal during restaurant week. Our server Crispin was extremely knowledgeable and incredibly attentive. Highly recommend.

Everything was delicious. The salted beets were amazing. Duck bacon wonton and wagyu sliders were perfect. Service was excellent.
I wanted to add that we came because we read Diana Baurs review. While we did not get Casey as our waiter we did have great service with Hunter and his colleague.
