A fine pharmacy, but somebody who doesn't know what he's doing has been messing with the Publix web. It used to be easy to call for a refill. You'd enter the pharmacy number, then the prescription number and your name, and you'd be off and running. Now you have to enter the complete prescription number, followed by a dash and the pharmacy number, but the web programming can't look up the pharmacy with that information, so you then have to click a "change location" button, which is confusing in itself, and enter the pharmacy number over again. I did software engineering and website development for thirty years. If I'd come up with a kludge like this one I'd have been looking for a new client.

Over the years, the professionalism of the pharmacy team has been steadily declining. Competent personnel are relocating somewhere else and leaving (us) the patients in disarray.

Horrible pharmacist Joe is currently playing bartender with patients medications for chronic conditions. He refuses to refill these medications based off of FL DEA laws that do not exist. Joe needs to be schooled on these laws as well as being reminded that there are distinct differences between a pharm D degree and MD. Joe should not be working with patients as he is creating a medical liability for Publix pharmacy.
