My Plantation Dentist

This is an AMAZING office! Dr. Finklestein and staff go above and beyond for their patients! I hated going to the dentist growing up and pretty much avoided it as I became an adult.
I’m glad I found My Plantation because they turned my view around and I actually enjoy coming here now. Staff makes sure you are comfortable. If you aren’t they will do what they can to help you become comfortable. You’re treated like family here which is so rare to find anymore.

Best experience with a dentist. Everything was explained clearly and realy felt like they cared about me and not just another patient. I would highly recommend.

Last year I reluctantly made an appointment to see a dentist. It had been at least 12 years since I last visited a dentist. I was careful about the dental office I selected, as I did not want to pay for unnecessary work done on my teeth. I also did not want to hear a dental hygienist scold me for not getting yearly cleanings and waiting so long to see a dental professional.
I chose this dental office through a referral from a trusted source. Though I live in Lake Worth, Florida, and “My Plantation Dentist,” is in Plantation, Florida, I decided my peace of mind was worth the drive. I was delighted to walk into a warm inviting environment every time I walked into this office. Though the dental staff had never met me, they made note that I was a referral by another patient and greeted me as if I was a longtime client. The best part was I never had to wait long to be called back into a workroom. When the dentist came in, not only was she personable, but she explained to me everything she said, “in dental code,” to her dental assistant, so I could understand. I was surprised that not only was the dentist, Heidi Finkelstein, a beautiful and young dentist, but she was also a very knowledgeable professional. After the assessment of my teeth and I was asked about my expectations, I was taken to an office and re-explained everything in the order it would have to take place, and I was given a printed planned schedule organized in a folder with predated appointments that would work for me so I would not have to make so many long trips and miss work. Because I needed a lot of work including removing old metal fill-ins that had expanded in some of my teeth and fixing a few holes in my teeth caused by my 1980 old-school braces, I had already expected this to be a lengthy process. I was impressed and in lieu of any doubt, I trusted her professional opinion without getting a second opinion because her explanations made good sense. A year later, I have never had any issues with my teeth or mouth.
In contrast, my husband, who has a very busy schedule and is employed a lot further north than we live, visited a Dentist in Palm Beach, Florida. He had initially talked about going to Dr. Finkelstein, but could not take off the time needed to drive the distance and to get the dental work. He had some very comparable work done on his mouth with a Dentist he had a small prepaid plan with. He also had to make several trips to the dental office that he hired to do his work. He told me stories about an angry assistant who was not happy, she had to work through her lunch hour and when his temporary mold was put in while his permanent caps were made, one temporary cap kept falling off. Once it even came off the same day it was placed in his mouth. My husband had to take off from work to make several extra trips back to the dental office. His dental plan was not laid out as well as mine. He was also told he would need 2 root canals. (Which I am leery of, as I have heard can often be unnecessary.) In the end, I got more work done for less money. Another friend also had some similar work done and experienced pain when she ate with the temporary mold. I understand no one has the same mouth problems so I cannot directly compare these issues. I am glad I looked into the dentist I picked.
I would like to thank the whole dental staff at My Plantation Dentist for their kindness and my smile. I would recommend this dental office to anyone who asks me in the future.

I found My Plantation Dentist when I moved to Florida a year ago and I am so grateful I did. The staff is a joy, the doctor is knowledgeable and kind. Overall great energy and I’m so happy to have found a comfortable dentist office that does great work and makes you feel at ease!

When I first called their office I was accommodated quickly and professionally. Just overall the best dental experience I’ve ever had. The office is clean, the staff is lovely and friendly, the technology they use is easy and useful... really the patient care is top notch! I needed a dentist appointment the next day as a new patient so sent them an email since it was before office hours and Dr. Heidi Finkelstein and her staff responded immediately once they opened and were able to fit me in exactly when I needed. I did not expect that! Dr. Finkelstein and her staff are amazing. Dr. Finkelstein spends a lot of time with you and truly cares about you as a patient. She's so sweet and educated me the entire time throughout the exam about what she was doing, why and what my results are and what they mean. This felt like one of the most thorough dental exams I've ever had. The office is very clean and modern too. I've never been excited to go to the dentist but this practice is truly unique and I look forward to my next visit. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone wanting exceptional dental care.

I have been a patient at this dental office for so long before Dr. Finkelstein took over. I always enjoy the warmth and caring atmosphere, Tina is the first person I talk to on the phone, and when I come in the office. She is always professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and help me with any answers that I have. The dental assistant, Emily is very nice, friendly and knowledgeable also. Dr. Finkelstein is an excellent, experienced dentist who made me feel so comfortable. I am very happy with my new crown. It was a nice visit and Dr. Finkelstein did an outstanding job. I am new to the area and needed a dentist. I researched a little and found this office was nearby and had excellent ratings. My appointment was right after their lunch. When I got there, the office was locked. An employee was coming in at the same time and unlocked the door and invited me in. Soon thereafter, the doctor and other staff entered. Dr Finkelstein took the time to introduce herself and welcome me to the office. That was an amazing first impression. From there, I was interviewed by the doctor, who told me what to expect and explained everything that I did not understand. Soon thereafter, I met with the most amazing hygienist I have ever had the honor of opening my mouth for. Her name is Nicole. She is fun, funny, smart, gentle, professional, and overall delightful. I had my exam, cleaning, and polishing without even a threat of pain. Dr Finkelstein came in once more to go over x-rays and course of action - along with some recommendations for me. My only complaint is that Dr Finkelstein took my pulse and I don't remember her giving it back. KIDDING!
So to wrap it up, you know when you meet someone for the first time and you know right away you like that person? That's how I felt with the entire staff. They're all welcoming and kind and made me feel like a valued customer. It's the little things that keep me coming back, and this office is full of them.

Today was my first visit with My Plantation Dentist and and very happy with the service I received. Nicole was amazing! She did my cleaning and explained everything to me step by step giving me tips on how to get better usage of my electric toothbrush 😃. During my visit I also meet Dr. Finkelstein, she is very nice and attentive. She examined me and I got to ask her questions about Invisalign. I am very happy she is going to be my new dentist 🦷.

Outstanding experience!!
