It has been a few weeks since I closed and I needed to take some time to share how wonderful Andre Barrett and his team were throughout the process. When we decided to sell, Andre sat with us and went over the whole process and answered any questions we had. It was an easy decision to choose him as our selling agent. He has various means to spread the word when it comes to the open house and the turnout was amazing. He was informative, on time and well-prepared for each meeting. We sold the house in August 2022 which, Andre helped my elderly mother who lost her husband recently with the sale of the property. It has been such a difficult time dealing with the loss of a loved one but Andre and his team were very supportive, understanding and patient with us. We chose Andre because he is a seasoned real estate broker and has served on several Real Estate boards, he is very knowledgeable and displayed his experience with an issue that came up with the buyer's real estate agent and the buyer's broker during the sale. Andre was able to resolve the issue with the other parties and sold our house for asking price.

For the next purchase I will be using Andre to buy my next house. He is great at protecting his client's interest, knows the market extremely well and is an excellent negotiator.

The Barrett Group are simply wonderful! I was beginning the process of searching for my first home to buy. I knew right away I wanted a condo. I was working with another agent and he barely did anything for me. He just wasn't proactive in finding me places to look at. After a few weeks, I knew I had to find another realtor. I saw good reviews for Andre Barrett and the Barrett Group so I decided to reach out to them. They responded to my request that same day and set me up with Lorraine as my realtor.

Lorraine was everything I was looking for in a realtor! She started setting up showings for me and within a week, I found the condo I wanted to purchase. We found out that the seller for that condo was looking for a cash-only offer. I was initially disappointed but Lorraine contacted the listing agent right away and convinced him and the sellers to move forward with my offer, which was for a conventional loan. Lorraine made it happen and she was on the ball throughout the whole process.

My sisters and I have tried for years to get mom to sell her house and move into an apartment or move in with one of her children. To our surprise, late last year she decided to sell her house but she had to find just the right person for the job. Andre was a God sent. Not only was he from the old country, Jamaica, but he understood that my mom was from a different generation and things had to be done according to her wishes within acceptable parameters. Andre was able to walk this tricky road. Many times it has been difficult for us, her daughters, to negotiate this tricky road. He did not try to make her conform to known or common realtor's practices but saw that she needed someone who could sympathize, hold her hand and yet steer her in the correct direction so that her house could be sold quickly, efficiently and still leaving my mom in charge. My mother had nothing but high praises for Andre and his staff. Parents can be very demanding and difficult especially when they are giving up so much of their independency by selling their home. Andre made selling mom's house very much easier than anticipated. I intend to send clients to him because of his attentiveness and wonderful treatment of my mom.
