The Porch on the Green

Great evening out. Wonderful service and ambiance as always.
Fried Mozzarella, fish and chips and eggplant parm. We brought home a slice of triple chocolate cake and it was amazing.

This place is definitely a hidden gem! We are Vegan so we had a delicious Hummus Board and Portabello Mushroom Panini. Their hummus is the best we've ever had! Just remember to have them remove the Feta if you're vegan. On the Panini have the cheese and garlic aioli taken off and you're good to go. The restaurant is so so clean and cute!! It was an old Victorian House. The staff are super friendly. I highly recommend checking them out!!! Plssss add more vegan options! You guys would do fabulous! So much flavor here!! :)

Michele and her staff provided me the Best surprise 70th birthday diner party ever. The food is excellent especially the smoked pork belly. The drinks flowed full flavored without an empty glass. The service was without a doubt top shelf.

This was our first time eating here and it was a very pleasant surprise! The selections were great and the food (lunch) was excellent! The porch looked inviting but we thought it might have a little too much road noise for us. The inside was clean and inviting. We will definitely be back!

A new place for us in Monticello. It is located in a beautiful craftsman style home converted into The Porch on the Green. We didn't have a reservation but they said no problem about a 15min wait. We went to the bar had had some drinks, wonderful barmaid and service. We got seated and again we had great service. Ordered a couple appetizers, tuna poke nachos, buffalo chicken egg rolls, I had a craving for fish and chips and they didn't disappoint, 3 chunks of crispy fish and hot fries with a bit of coleslaw. Wife had a pulled pork sandwich and fries. We both were very happy as were our dining partners and had enough for doggie bags. We look forward to going back. Oh did I say the desserts were yum. Bread pudding w/ice cream and blueberry cheesecake.

Wow! I love this place!! So quaint, food and service was great. I had eggplant parmesean and almost ate all of it. I never do that. Wonderful memory.

Good food, excellent service. A wide selection of choices on the menu. Situated in a craftsman style home converted into "The Porch". Reservations recommended . We arrived without one and grabbed a drink and we were sat with in 15 mins. We will return and bringing friends too.

Very happy we saw this place online and went (from Tallahassee)! We had the pork belly and the fish tacos, both delicious. From the reservation to the bar service, to food and drinks, everything perfectly smooth, and staff were very sweet. Reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back to try more! They do a great job and I wish them more success.

We met some friends for dinner and sat outside. The staff was very friendly and polite. Our meals were wonderful as well. Didn't take to long to get our meals either. Highly recommend paying them a visit if considering. We will for sure be back.

Best soup I have ever had. Great chef. Beautiful atmosphere. Everything was excellent. Planning to take the whole family there soon so they can experience their fabulous food. 😊

Way more seating than I expected from the pictures! The food, service, and other patrons were all spectacular. We had a great time. Not to mention some very delicious and unique cocktails. If you like bread pudding, their's is out of this world!

Took a drive north from Jacksonville to do some exploring came across The Porch on the Green. Food is very good, atmosphere is great; service is on par and so are the drinks. It is a restored old period home with lots of space. The grounds are beautiful as well. It was well worth the trip and will definitely be back. Would be a great place for a small wedding or rehearsal dinner.

What a gem of a restaurant for Monticello! Food has been excellent and service has always been great!

If you happen to be in Monticello and in search of a good meal, the Porch doesn't disappoint. The specials are always a highlight as are the craft cocktails. If it's not on the bar menu, just ask! They'll be happy to oblige.

Excellent! Had the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner (tip: bring a dinner roll to sop with) and the Caprese Chicken Pesto. Usually, I avoid chicken in restaurants for being dry, cold, or tough, but this was tender, warm, and full of flavor. Topped it off with a great cup of coffee and the fried cheesecake (must have). We will be back!
