Highly recommend coming here! Friendly staff, lots of parking spots and good amount of seating inside. They also had outside seating in the back. Our hotel was nearby so we decided to stop here before our flight.

We grabbed some seats in the back area. If you buy a bag of coffee beans, you can get a free cup of drip coffee or iced coffee. I tried the Cafe Canela first which was good. Then I got a free iced coffee when I bought a few bags of the coffee beans. For the iced coffee, I like that they use coffee ice cubes so it’s not watered down.

Cutbow might just be my favorite coffee shop of all time. I live in Minneapolis but make a point to come here multiple times on any Albuquerque visit. The staff is incredibly warm and the coffee is excellent. Highly recommend doing their coffee tasting flight. It's such an elevated hospitality experience for coffee newbies or connoisseurs alike. Paul shares his coffee knowledge in a way that is so welcoming. 10/10 recommend you go to Cutbow whenever you can. ☕❤

Cutbow is definitely one of the homiest spots I’ve been to in NM. They have actual coffee plants growing in the shop, grinders, and roasters. Really cool to see it all in one little shop like that.

Not only that, the staff was so warm and welcoming, and the lattes were great too!

Definitely swing by for a coffee if you’re in the area. You won’t be disappointed.

Cutbow Coffee is such a refreshing spot, and one of the most welcoming coffee shops that I have been to! The owner is so sweet and kind, and engages with everyone. The coffee is very tasty as well!! A definite must-go-to!!

Lovely cafe! The owner studied coffee roasting for 27 years! There is a roasting machine on site.
Staff was very nice and helpful.
They offer regular coffees (espresso, cappuccino, etc) but also some surprising options as a tonic coffee that was delicious and a caramelized cinnamon coffee that was very good.
They have non-dairy milk options which is great but no vegan bites which was disappointing.
The bathroom is very clean.

Wow. Incredible coffee. We got a cappuccino and macadamia milk lavender latte.

We stopped in quickly on our move across the country for a caffeine fix, and this is some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was beautifully crafted and clean with a nice selection of seating. All the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

I appreciate that they make their syrups in house, and the lavender syrup is craft from a local farm. We didn’t try any pastry but they were from a local bakery.

If I were local this would be a regular stop for me.

Cutbow is the best coffee shop in Albuquerque, I can never get enough of it. Paul, the owner, is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, and never fails to greet anyone who comes in to the shop. I’ve been going to cutbow for over a year, and every time I am satisfied. Their coffee is delicious and the staff is knowledgeable about every item on the menu whenever I have questions. I will never stop going to cutbow!

I had a fantastic experience at Cutbow Coffee! The staff is truly amazing, making my visit enjoyable from start to finish. I tried their iced tea with lavender, and it was an absolute delight – a perfect blend of refreshing and soothing flavors. I can’t wait to come back for more! Highly recommended!

I appreciate how friendly employees are each time I come here, and that you see the owner, Paul, working right beside them.

The coffee is always good. I have had various types, from drip to pour over, cappuccinos and lattes. Even their decaf is flavorful!

They usually have some sort of gluten free pastry in addition to selections from local bakeries.

Overall a great shop with great coffee!

Gets pretty busy on weekend mornings but it’s worth the wait if you can find a place to sit. I love the concept of a fly-fishing themed coffee shop.

This was an abrupt stop after brunch, and it was definitely worth the visit. The specialized menu included handcrafted coffees, the cortadito was sharp and robust, and the classic breve latte was accentuated by a crafted vanilla and lavender syrup.
Our order taker was super friendly and efficient, and the shop was so vibey. Definitely snag a selfie on one of their decorated walls.

Fantastic joint!!! From the moment you walk into the establishment, every detail awakens your senses!! From the wonderful smell of the fresh roasted coffee beans… your eyes will be tickled with fresh flowers on every tabletop, intentional, hand crafted, uniquely recycled wood for a high top community bar, the lovely wire woven seats… the walls are adorned with productions of the local creatives. Oh. Yeah, it’s a coffee ☕ joint… not to forget the reason why we’re here. Superb coffee!! Roasted & Made to precision! And the owner is personable along with his handpicked and fantastic staff! So friendly, you’ll feel right at home! What a perfect gift in the middle of our day!

You can tell that the good people who run this place really care. From the beautiful tiny vases of fresh flowers on every table to the curated, calming music – I'm sitting here now, and some sort of oboe concerto is playing! This place is one of a kind.

The coffee is first rate – easily some of the very best in the state — and the specialty drinks are inventive and all delicious, true specialties, not just some generic seasonal syrup add-on. The pastries come from a rotating list of top-tier local bakeries. The decor is fishing themed, which might sound odd for a coffee shop, but it somehow really works! From the sea green wall to the beautiful viga ceiling, it's just a lovely spot to work or read.

And the staff is always SO pleasant and kind!

Best cold brew in town at a great price. Staff is superb and remembers you day to day. My go to location for coffee on my days off. I just wish they were open earlier in the day so I could go before work! Also dog friendly 🐕

Delicious latte and this little vegan cake thing was amazing! I picked it because it looked very chocolatey but I was super surprised at how yummy it was. Rich and tasty with a good texture and tart dried cherry bits on the top were amazing. Lovely big latte, lovely atmosphere, cool music- classical and some strange old voice stuff… also a very comfy seat! And they are lovely and friendly. 😁

This is SUCH a precious coffee shop!! It’s probably one of the best iced lattes I’ve ever had! They have oat milk, which always wins me over.

The pastries are delicious as well (says my kiddos!). They split a chocolate croissant.

Only downside was the wait- we probably waited 20 minutes for our food and drink. BUT I’m willing to wait for good coffee! ☕ And it was Balloon Fiesta weekend, so I’m sure they were busier than usual!

This place is awesome. From every thought out detail in the decor, to the excellent customer service, to the fantastically brewed and smooth, deep flavor of the coffee! The husband wife team who owns it are so friendly and clearly proud of their work. The inside is beautiful, warm, and welcoming. The counter staff baristas are friendly, patient, and helpful. This will be an absolute must stop whenever I visit Albuquerque!

Came here for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed it! It’s very spacious and beautifully designed -the whole quirky vibe that you would expect from a coffee shop/roastery (they roast their beans in House!) I had a simple pour over coffee and really enjoyed it! I loved it so much that I bought a bag of beans while I was there (which I’m currently drinking ...frenchpress style ❤) but I really liked it here. The staff was pretty friendly and there’s lots of parking available! If you haven’t checked this place out, do it!

Stopped for the night in ABQ on a roadtrip. Needed a good cup before getting on the road. .This place did the job AND THEN SOME!

Small roaster that clearly takes a lot of pride in their product as well as making sure the staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

If you are anywhere near here and you don't go here... why do you hate yourself?

A Beacon of Generosity and Kindness: Cutbow Coffee and Owner Paul

As a loyal patron of Cutbow Coffee, I am compelled to share my recent experience, one that exemplifies the true essence of kindness and generosity. On May 5th, 2024, I found myself grappling with the aftermath of a car burglary, a disheartening event that left me feeling violated and frustrated, to say the least.

To compound matters the thieves had stolen the 3 bags of coffee I had just purchased. Which left me completely out of coffee, a small yet essential comfort that seemed particularly crucial on that following Monday morning.

Enter Paul, the owner of Cutbow Coffee, whose unwavering generosity and compassion turned what could have been a dismal start to the day into a heartwarming reminder of the goodness in humanity. Despite Cutbow being closed on Monday’s, Paul graciously met me at his coffee bar and, to my utter astonishment, replaced my stolen coffee free of charge.

Not only did Paul's generosity lift my spirits, but it also ensured that I could face the challenges of the day ahead with the proper caffeinated fuel that I defiantly needed.

Cutbow Coffee has not only cultivated a space in Albuquerque for exceptional coffee but also fostered a community built on kindness and compassion.

To Paul, I extend my deepest gratitude for your kindness. Your actions were nothing short of a lifesaver, and I am forever grateful for your kind act and of course for the coffee!
