Great seafood market. It’s difficult to find fresh seafood at a decent price that is also convenient. This market offers a wide variety of fresh seafood and prepared dishes crab cakes, soups, side dishes, etc). They even have seasonings and gourmet grocery items to complement their products. They had a smoked tuna dip that they gave me a sample of and it was yummy. They will even add more jalapeños to it if you want an extra kick. Great staff, friendly and helpful. This will now be my go to for fresh seafood.

Oh my goodness, such a wonderful find! This is our 3rd winter here in Fort Lauderdale and I had not been able to find a seafood market that offers the variety of fresh fish, homemade sides/seasonings and fresh produce - all in one until now! THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!

On my 1st visit I needed change for the parking meter and someone kindly made it for me. I also didn't realize you needed to take a number and someone also handed me a number. I can clearly see why they use the numbers, as this place is so popular and can get very busy!

This is a hardworking family owned business, with the father and his sons taking pride in their establishment. They blend right in on the front lines and do whatever it takes with the rest of their great team to make this business run smoothly. We have enjoyed talking golf, getting recipes and trying many new varieties of fish (grouper, sheepshead, red snapper) and some from our home like haddock and scallops too. This is the place to go for everything seafood! I have never seen 4 sizes of Florida Stone Crab sold anywhere, they've got it! Their sides are incredible and we always try something new - we especially love their crabcakes, stuffed mushrooms, lobster mac and cheese, peel 'n eat shrimp...and so much more!

These people are on the go constantly and they appreciate their customers. I wondered during my initial trip "why" a bell would be rung with a "woo" following it, and quickly figured it out, that this was their way to share their thanks to a customer who tipped them. There are no signs here or places to leave a tip, they are grateful and it's a nice way to thank and appreciate them for all they do. Please be sure to do so, they are grateful and it's never expected - love this!

I am sad we will be leaving next week and tomorrow/Saturday will be my last day as my car is getting picked up on Monday or Tuesday so I have to pack it up. We have something close to this at home in Gloucester, MA - Turner's Seafood Market where the variety of seafood, the quality of their fish, their prepared foods and people are so similar...they could trade places as they are both so GREAT!

Best crab dipping sauce I’ve ever had! Try the Ipswich Clams, Lobster Mac and cheese, Shrimp salad, and White Beans.

Honestly, it's the best seafood market I have found in South Florida. Service is impeccable ! I don't know what they do with the shrimps and cocktail sauce, but surely some kind of magic 😁
I'm definitely craving smoked tuna salad on a daily basis, ☺ would love to be there weekly 😁

Great fish purveyor...easy parking in front though the meters don't seem to align to the space which was confusing but I didn't pay anyway so... don't forget to take a ticket when you first come in. Mid afternoon it wasn't crowded but a steady stream of customers

We found out about this place on our latest visit to Lauderdale by the sea and we're very happy we did! Great selection of fresh seafood and friendly staff. We tried the crab legs and they were excellent on the BBQ. We'll be back again soon!

If you care about the quality of what you’re eating, this is hands down the only place to purchase your fish. It’s a small, family owned fish market with a wide selection of the freshest fish and impeccable customer service. I just stopped by for my first time today after putting in an order for a special family dinner I was putting together - I was amazed at their customer service when I placed my order several days ago and even more so after shopping there today.100%, without a doubt, the BEST salmon belly I’ve had outside a couple of prime sushi spots. My family was blown away by the quality as well (my stepfather who doesn’t do raw salmon happily managed to eat his weight in salmon belly).

Good luck finding better fish and nicer people. I've been shopping here for 13 years. Don't leave without their homemade key lime pie and clam chowder!

9/25:2020-Picked a a grouper filet and a flounder filet. Plus one Florida lobster tail, all so fresh. Can’t go wrong.lots of help. Don’t forget to take a number on right like publix.

5/7/2020- stone crab season coming to a end 5/15/- so we got 6 large @ $49.00lb, plus seafood salad, seaweed salad, fried grouper pieces , a chunk of smoked grouper plus the best honey mustard.

Wow they have it all . Take a number like publxs . You want fresh fish anything in season anything. Stone crabs , little neck clams larger clans , squint , while Red Snapper , or filet . If you don't see it ask for it always a lemon or lime free with order You get what you pay for . If they crack your fish , steam it , it would be nice if you leave a tip .
To busy ordering for pic’s . Have yourself plenty of time I don’t care what time you get there it’s always busy .

Talented and efficient staff. Large fresh selection. Grab a number and be ready to order so.you don't make everyone else wait caus you can't decide.

I’m a local living on Fort Lauderdale Beach for 20 plus years. I’ve been going to this place for a while. What separates this fish market from others is their exceptional service, honesty, sourcing of their fish and good prices. You get what you pay for. They offer exceptional service. They will individually wrap pieces, de bone, remove skin, blood lines, etc. You get a quality product served by a great family run business.

This place is great!! Joanne was extremely helpful in helping me select several products from their wonderful extensive selection , getting them weighed (trimmed) wrapped properly, everyone in there was very very knowledgeable of what they were selling you, if you had a question more than likely they could answer it, they knew what sauces and spices went with what, all this in a very laid-back old school atmosphere very friendly very polite extremely helpful people every single one of them

I have been to The Fish Peddler East 4 times in 3 weeks. Fish is very fresh. They are very knowledgeable and accommodating. Friendly nice people too.
