Sahara Food Market

This is a Middle Eastern food market that sells goods from the Middle East and halal meats. They also sell some Moroccan products such as, Oued Sousa olive oil, couscous, and Moroccan Harissa. The staff here are friendly and helpful especially Mohamed. They always greet you at the door and provide great service. I definitely recommend this food market to Muslims and non-Muslims.

If i could give 10 stars i would. Chef is amazing and never misses a beat.
Customer service is amazing as well. Always smiling and answering any questions I ask. They also speak both languages and never make you feel inferior for not speaking their native language. They’re so warm and kind. Their food is seasoned with love first. You can smell it just walking in. There’s plenty i could say, but I want to say GREAT PLACE TO EAT. Amazing food better prices.

Everything is made from scratch, per my wonderful conversation with the proprietor. Tempting pastries. A steam table at the far end keeps hot amazing dinners you can get to go. There are lots of Middle Eastern groceries, so I can make my own. Cold storage area with an amazing variety of cheeses and frozen delicacies. The experience was a delight for the senses!

Stopped by Sahara Food Market this morning with my family, looking for zaatar we were so impressed with the variety of spices and fresh baked items we ended up staying for lunch, falafel, kibbe, and zaatar we're amazing, so happy to have found this hidden gem so close to home, will definitely be back!!! Highly recommend!

7/8/23 UPDATE...first time patronizing this store before noon. Very limited fresh cooked and baked goods, but still a great selection of goods and I'm confident that the frozen day old pita will suffice. Still... we're missing those fresh, warm, straight out of the oven breads!🌴✌😎🌴

This is my go to place when craving Lebanese food. Very authentic, homemade and fresh, reasonable prices and great service. Totally recommended from the pastries to the main plates

We just discovered this place. Picked up bread and dessert. Both are excellent. Will be back for other things.

We've been going to Sahara for years and years, they have the BEST authentic Lebanese Middle Eastern food and so pleasant and courteous! The chefs/cooks in the kitchen are so accommodating and so nice! The fresh bread is to die for! Great spinach and meat pies, falafel, and baklava!

Terrific food. Take out selection is very good. They make their own pita bread in their own huge oven where you can see it. They have a daily lunch selection with meat and vegetarian choices. We have been going here for years and the quality is always as good as the first time.

One of the rare places who carries merguez sausages (beef) ! Their products are excellent and their freshly made bread is outstanding.

Still the only place I found for merguez sausage in Broward County. Sweets are also very good (baklava choice and quality is very good, but $$$ !) Daily homemade pita bread, it's the thicker type so the thin ones I use to roast and put in my Fatouche salad !

Ver nice and traditional Mediterranean&arabic food market. Totally recommended. I purchased Turkish delights which were delicious.

Every year we visit family in FL a trip to Sahara is a must. The food is wonderful and delicious. My husband's family is Lebanese and we always bring a big bag of food from Sahara when we visit. The svihas, the kibbe balls, the deserts are always gobbled up. They make fresh pita which is always great to have with fresh grilled lamb. And a bunch of stuffed grape leaves, delicious!
We'll be back next year! The store workers are always so nice!

Hit by supply chain woes, but still make the best hummus, tabouleh, fresh daily-baked pita (as big as my head) and more in Miami-Dade-Broward...! Oh...and that cardamom-laced Lebanese coffee...pure tasty, high octane human jet fuel! Locally family owned!🌴✌😎🌴

July 2023 update... something's definitely different and off. Haven't patronized in 9 months and alot has changed. Not necessarily good.

I'm sure every European can find this place useful with a lot of products that we using back home. Here I could find one of the best Baklava

Just found this place and we'll go back almost every week for family dinner. They make great and authentic food. It is fresh!! Pita is made right in front of your eyes in an oven. No more of that stale tasting pita bread from supermarkets

I'm addicted to there chicken kabob's and the yellow rice it's seasoned perfectly has alittle bite of spices but man oh man is it Fantastic I buy 2 lunches so I can 1 for dinner Very friendly they have a spot if you want to eat in best Mediterranean food since being in Mediterranean ..lol

Beautiful store!! And clean!🤩🤩..and food is soooooo delicious!! I bought hummus,spinach pie,cake,pita bread with cheese, all were fresh good!😋 they have cute little tea pots, and tea cup sets which I could resist I bought one of each! great customer service!...I will be returning for sure!
