Amazing work repairing/servicing my Poulan Pro. Today was the first time using it since I had the service done last October. Holy crap the mower is working like the first day I purchased it. I didn’t even realize what he repaired on it until I used it today. Thank you so much for taking care of me and I’ll be sure to continue spreading the word about how great of a shop you own and operate. What a price too.

This is a throwback to older Leesburg times when local business was more reliable and built on relationships. I have a John Deere tractor/mower that is three years old. Through that time I took care of the machine myself. The local John Deere dealership was excellent in providing me parts and teaching me how to remove what was old and replace with new.

All went well until three weeks ago when the mower deck stopped. A pulley froze up, and for the first time I needed service work. After the machine sitting a week with nothing happening at the dealership while I’m dying cutting my lawn with a push mower, I founded George’s Mower and Saw in downtown Leesburg. A great guy named Dude said to park it near the road by a shade tree. This was on a Friday, and he said next Friday the mower would be ready. Dude was true to his word. The next Friday I picked it up. Everything about the mower deck was perfect. I got new blades, new pulleys—in one the bearings were bad, and most importantly Dude replaced a bolt that was bent. It had been cast into the deck and would have called for a new deck from the dealership. Instead Dude modified the deck and put a new bolt through a hole he had made.

This repair and service at a John Deere dealership would have easily cost me more than $1000. George’s Mower charged me $225. I could only pay with cash or check—no credit cards. I was glad to do this. What a bargain for such quality work!! Way to go Dude!

I took my power washer in today because it wasn't getting any gas and I couldn't get it started. It was 3 pm and he was backed up, but he still took the time to try a few things to clear the carburetor - which worked. He didn't charge me because he said, "I just needed a little help." He also gave me a few tips on cleaning and storage, which was far better advice than I received from Husqvarna. You don't find service like this often anymore. I would highly George's Mower and Saw.

Fantastic repair shop.

Very good, efficient and professional business. Came and picked up my riding mower, did a fabulous tune up, cleaned carbureter, fixed flat tire and steering components and brang it back. Wonderful. This is a great business!

Dude is great and that’s his name. If you have any issues with your mower give him a call he picked up fixed, cleaned, and did all the stuff I had forgotten about for a great rate.
