G&G Jamaican Delights

Everytime my job sends me around the west oaks mall I stop by this jamaican spot and get the ox tail. The food is fresh and on point. I been here 3 times already and never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and the prices are decent for island food. Go check them out, wont be disappointed trust me.

Sub $8 dollars for a plate two people could share if not too hungry. Amazing food. Chicken falls off the bone. Should be $20 at a better venue. Too good for mall food.

Listen, I'm a Jamaican who knows what authentic Jamaican food tastes like. It's this. I'm still eating and I had to pause and call my friends to tell them that I taste the coconut milk in the rice and peas and that I can tell that the peas did not come out of a can. The plantains they served also seem to have been sliced by them and are not the pre sliced flavored ones. How nice is that? Whoever is the chef I hope he/she keeps it up and that whoever comes after will follow the trend. Now I can proudly recommend a Jamaican restaurant in the area. Yuh feel mi?

This place has wonderful island food. The meat is always tender and delicious. Which means the cook prepares the food with the same perfection every time! Some of the restaurants around town, that have TVs, grill, big lights and bliss. Don't even come close to authenticity like this place!

Arrived 15 Min before the mall was closing, wasn’t expecting to find authentic Jamaica food. To my surprise the Goat and brown stew chicken was fresh an tasted very delightful. Large portions and great prices.

Seriously delicious food court eats and about the only thing going for the old West Oaks mall these days. I haven't shopped here so much in the last many years since its heyday. In fact, was here to meet someone from OfferUp; not exactly mall business. Lol

..but enough about the me and the mall and the music.

They're super warm and friendly, helpful and fun. You can see and taste they love what what they're doing. And you get hefty Caribbean sized portions too. Nom nom nom yum yum!

They're so good they sell out of the wings so I didn't get to try those. Blast!!! So I went with the oxtail over pigeon peas and rice with some slaw which was an absolute delight. So wonderfully succulent and rich in flavor, that. Yum.

So yum, they're on the return hit list. Can't wait to come back! That's a first for me with food court food.

Was visiting for work, came by on a whim for quick dinner. Greet by two smiling faces and had some of the best curry goat I've ever had in my life. No complaints. Added to my list of favorites.

Friendly staff and good food. I had the escovitch fish prepared as an on order item and it was ready in 15 minutes.

Otimo, estava na dillard’s, e resolvemos comer aqui, já estava tarde e estávamos com muita fome. Uma surpresa!!! Comida é muito bem servida e muito barata!!! Um prato que é servido tipo como quentinha da pra 1 adulto e 1 criança comer tranquilo e custou menos de $7,00. De longe foi o lugar que eu comi bem e barato.
