This park was absolutely amazing, This is the best water park I have ever been to and the design and creativity blew me out of the 💦! I highly recommend going to this park if you’re in Orlando or stop by to see the other two Orlando theme parks. Me and my daughter were able to get through all the slides twice each and spent two hours in the wave pool. On top of that, we had an amazing meal at one of the restaurants in the park. The chicken sandwich was different but delicious and so was the burger. The staff on all the rides were excellent as well as the staff helping in the restaurant. The lockers are a bit pricy I will say, but that usually comes with a water park and they are available all day. The atmosphere blew me away. It’s an absolute must if you enjoy water parks in the slightest bit.

Have fun! We sure did.

We came on Christmas Eve with three other families of teenagers and fifth graders. We were concerned about the water might be cold. The heated water was cooled off by the breeze, but still was the warmest place. The entire place was designed very well, with a great deal of attention to detail. We enjoyed the food.
It was clean and not as I anticipated. The kids enjoyed the park very much. The younger ones were cold and explorer the mini rides as much. They enjoyed the tubing.

What can I say about volcano Bay second time going and this is the best waterpark there is in Florida. It’s not as expensive and being a Florida resident you get a discount for each ticket. We went in July and it was very very hot so I suggest getting some waterproof shoes so you’re not walking barefoot the whole time because your feet will burn. There is some long wait times of course we went in summer when there’s no school and most families are going to the park, there was long wait times but it was a lot of fun. They give you this wristband that you can use to tap and lock your place in line which is awesome because then you can go to other rides that do not require for you to wait or tap in. You can just go wait for probably a short amount of time, do the ride and still be in line for your main ride I hope that makes sense. They do have shops where you can buy anything you need in case you forgot. They also have lockers so that you can put your stuff away. They do have spots where you can buy food you can get on the app to order these foods ahead of time. Also, the alcoholic drinks are amazing there, they taste great and can be pricey. You can get a souvenir cup that you can take home as well. Just make sure you put it in your locker cause you won’t be able to go down the rides with those. 🤣

Volcano Bay is one of the best water parks we've been to! The wave pool is huge and beautiful! Lots of different kinds of slides and water coaster. There are two different rivers, one lazy and one not so lazy. Beautiful sandy beaches with ample places to sit and soak up the sun. The food is not bad for a theme park.
If you stay at Cabana Bay, there is a path that you can walk from the hotel to the park. Also, if you stay at one of the Universal resorts, definitely take advantage of the early hour before the park opens to the public.

Volcano Bay has been my favorite water park since moving to Orlando. They have amazing rides and their virtual queue is so nice compared to other water parks as I hate waiting in line. I love that they offer a lazy river AND a rapid river, they’re by far my favorite attractions. Lots of slides and drops, rides, and good food and ice cream. Definitely worth the money!

Terrific way to spend the day. Easily the best water park I've ever visited. Activities for all ages such as drop slides to lazy rivers and beach chairs. The raging river is my favorite.

Going in November was wonderful. Nearly every slide was a walk on, the weather was beautiful and the team members were so kind. It was very beautiful. You can't drive there so you must park in the parking garage and take their transportation. Busses run frequently.

My favourite water park in the Orlando area by far. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and some of the best theme park food you will find especially from a water park.

The Tapu system allows you to tap into the ride of your choice and then go enjoy the park whilst waiting in a virtual queue. There are two rivers to join. A great splash pad for children. A number of bays and areas with seating and not to forget the wave pool which the staff do a clapping style dance which everyone in the water then soon pick up on and start doing in sync with the drumming music which is the apart for the start of the waves.

When the tapu system alerts you, you join a much shorter physical queue so feels like you are getting much more out of your day.

Volcano Bay is definitely one of the best water parks we have visited. The teen family members we were traveling with are already asking to go back! We visited in December and it was not too busy so there was zero wait for most of the rides. We stayed in one of the cabanas and the attendants were quick to assist with any questions or requests.

so we went during October we decided to rent a cabana. The process is very easy and early access line was a bit long but we were able to get in just minutes before it open. staff was absolutely outstanding. This is our first time for a birthday party. They brought our sons a very sweet dessert and both my boys had a really great time. It was also very helpful when the rain came in to have a cabana because we were able to close the curtains. and the nice thing was we were pretty close to the Toddler area. Food was fairly good not but overall I would definitely recommend coming to volcano bay

I went there with my girlfriend and man we had fun 🤣. All the rides are full of adrenaline and what I liked the best was that at the entrance they put you in a bracelet that looks like a watch. With this bracelet you can open the locker, and you can scan it at every ride or slide entrance to know how much you'll have to wait for you to go in the ride. So once you scan it at the entrance of each ride, it will tell you how much time you have left until it is your turn. This way you don't have to wait in line and waste your time, you can use that time to go for another ride with less waiting time or grab something to eat. The weather was super nice, I mean it is Florida.

I'm not a water park person, but this place was a ton of fun! The save your place in line works great and allows you to bounce from one side of the park to the other without worry.

The food was also decent by theme park standards.

Do not skip this gem when visiting Universal. Your family will thank you.

Once you figure out the floor plan , you are good to go. I live in South Jersey and there are 3 water parks 7 miles from me, I’d rather travel 1050 miles to go here ! The whole feel here is definitely worth the trip alone. I’ve been here at least 7-10 times and find something new every visit . The lazy river ( don’t know real name) where no tube is required , is one of my favorites. I jump on and make pretend I just fell off a shop trying to survive. Then the canoe roller coaster , wow! Even though I live so far away, just had to buy a season pass , so if the mood strikes , I can just fly down and enjoy !

Great family spot! Loved the layout. Like how they spray the walkways so your feet dont burn! Kids loved the big play tiki tot area and the wave pool!

Most slides were ride now, which was great!

Wish they had more than one ramp to get the main pool /wave pool area, but overall, easy to deal with a stroller!

I lived in Florida for 23 years and have checked out all the theme parks. I remember when Volcano Bay used to be Wet ´N Wild. I was heartbroken when they gutted it to create Volcano Bay, but now I’m so happy they did ! They have plenty of thrill rides and the classic lazy river and wave pool. The island theme is beautiful and consistent all over the park. They even have a raging-rapids type river where people get tossed around in life jackets. Although, I am a very strong swimmer, and had a life jacket, and I still went under, and was struggling a few times. This is not for young children. I saw an unsupervised child have to be rescued from it. The Tapu Tapu virtually eliminates long wait. It’s genius! I went on a sunny Saturday in November and it was moderately busy. The roasted coconut drink is a must!

This place is beautiful, the water is very clean, park is very clean and the rides are fun! I love how they allow you to bring in your own water and snacks. Only issue is the elevators to the rides were broken, so I couldn't go on any slides since I use a wheelchair. But there are plenty of other things to do and the rest of the family was able to go on the slides since there were plenty of places to wait for them. We all had a great time!

Definitely worth visiting. One of the best Waterparks that I've ever been in my entire life. This TapuTapu thing for virtue queues and interactions are just amazing.

Hands down the best water park in the USA. We booked an extended trip back in 2020 after we had originally had to cancel right when COVID hit and finally we were able to go in October of 2020 to do Universal, Disney & Volcano Bay. To this day Volcano Bay is still our favorite of everything we did. Rented the cabana and the service was great very conveniently placed to everything.

Tropical feel and vibes. This water park is jam packed with body slides, a wave pool, and a water coaster. It’s recommended to use the bracelet to book water rides. Everyone gets bracelets. Bring your own towels or pay to use theirs. The Volcano has a walk path inside under a waterfall. It has things for kids to do. You can go up inside the Volcano to the top and do a drop slide all the way down. Lots of food spots, shopping, and some bars. Enormous amount of seating. You can get a cabana if you want something more private. You can park at Universal’s lot and take a bus over. If you stay at their hotels transportation is provided to the water park also. Universal often has deals where you buy 2 days and get 3 free. So you can do all of their other parks.

We came to Volcano Bay in December. Although we thought we would be cold we were not. With the water heated we were able to stay very warm. All of the slides were a blast and very easy to get on. We rented a Cabana and had Johnny as our host. He was absolutely fantastic with an upbeat fun personality and always quickly delivered our drinks and food. This is the best water park we have ever been too and will be returning.
