Lexi's Music Studio

Lexi has been teaching our five year old for about a year now! He has learned really quickly with her help. I have appreciated that she tailors her teaching to his learning speed and interests, focusing more on theory (which he loves) and being sure that he is always working on songs he enjoys. I also enjoyed the two recital environments last year. She arranged one recital with a more formal, concert hall atmosphere and the second in a retirement home. I especially appreciated the latter and think more children's recitals should happen there! The kids enjoyed the crowd of adoring fans, and I believe the young performers brightened their day. Thanks for the great work your studio is doing, Lexi!

Ms.Lexi is a superb teacher! She's so patient and sweet with my 6 year old first-time piano learner. He loves Ms.Lexi and looks forward to her lessons every week! Highly recommend!

My daughter is 8 years old and has been attending Lexi’s music studio for over a year and it has been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. She is so great with children. Lexi is an absolutely phenomenal french horn player and instructor. She is our go-to horn specialist at Lake Woth High School and comes in to work with our horn students and they all love her. She is amazingly talented as a teacher and performer. My students leave every lesson feeling empowered and confident in their new-found skills. I cannot say enough positive things about Lexi. To learn well from instruction, one must be able to connect with the person teaching. Lexi is phenomenal with understanding her student's background and skill level. As well as advancing them through her practice and instruction. I have been working with Lexi on a weekly basis for just over a 1 year period. The knowledge she has shared with me from basic scale practicing and working on songs line by line and ways to practice chords has helped me tremendously and continue to love learning the piano and how to play this fabulous instrument.

Lexi is an all around amazing teacher and person. As a fellow teacher we are constantly discussing what methods work for our students. We continuously learn from each other. She sincerely cares about her students and always looks for ways to improve herself as a teacher and as a musician. Lexi was my private horn instructor during my senior year of high school. She did an AMAZING job of telling me exactly what I needed to do to be successful for my college auditions. Because of Lexi's character and personality, she always pushed me to my limits so I could excel musically and as a person. This may sound cheesy, however I would not be where I am today without taking lessons with Lexi. She is the reason why I get to attend Florida State University and study music in such a wonderful environment.

Lexi is an amazing teacher who has been able to connect with each of my three children to help them learn music. I say music, because she teaches much more than just how to play the piano. My boys are learning how to read music, beat counting and so much more.

My son loves piano lessons with Lexi. She strikes the right balance between encouraging/building confidence and pushing him to the next level. Alexis is very professional. She teaches to different learning styles and is ver successful at getting my son excited about play French horn. She patient but very discipline. She gets results. I’m shocked by third lesson my son knew his scales and playing recognizable songs! Plus, Alexis is an overall wonderful person, which is just an added benefit! Thank you Alexis
