Hyatt Place Daytona Beach - Oceanfront

Staff was friendly and helpful but Hyatt management should have provided rented umbrellas and lounging chairs for customers to enjoy the beat since it was right there. Although their website explained that the pool and other amenities were not available I feel alternatives to make our Sun seeking should have been implemented. It’ll be perfect when things are back to normal!!

It was the perfect location, driving up north made a quick stop here. The view was amazing, the service was great, check in was quick, great service from Eric, his charisma was awesome. Rooms were cleaned and organized. Continental breakfast, would it like to have turkey options.

The front desk staff were very kind and didn't mind helping or answering any of my questions. Appreciate great customer service! The room was clean and spacious with the oceanfront king size bed. Loved it here!

The room was comfy, quiet, and had a nice view. Breakfast was great! The staff was all very friendly. I especially like how accomodating they are with early check-in requests as well as having a 12 noon checkout time. Prior to seeing this Hyatt in the area, I found a different hotel and almost booked it until noticing a crazy 10 A.M. checkout time...I would never book something with a rushed checkout for a leisure trip. I'm so glad I found and booked this Hyatt instead... The whole stay had a nice relaxed feeling. We had a wonderful long weekend there!

Very comfortable rooms. Lovely view. All the staff was amazing, especially a valet that was super helpful, thank you Andrew. He helped bring me to my car for forgotten items and was kind about it. Will definitely come back again.

My family and I (huge family of 7) stayed here for a week and oh my goodness everyone was amazing and accommodating. One of the rooms had a mildewy smell and they allowed us to change rooms. Everytime we left the staff greeted us when we came back. One my kids got stung by a jellyfish and the front desk gave us something to help w the pain. Only downfall was there was no pool which was no one’s fault. When we left the construction crews were fixing the sea wall and getting ready to fix the pool. We will definitely be staying again. Whenever you stay at a hotel. Your expectations would be to have a clean room with some modern amenities to make your stay comfortable. A meager goal to customer satisfaction. However. This is why I am taking the time to write a 5 star review. It wasn’t the building or the location. It was the friendly staff who welcomed us as valued guests. From the time we checked in, to the time we checked out. We were met with warm smiles and hostility on a stellar level. I highly recommend this location if you appreciate good people 😊

I am a hyatt gold member. I enjoyed every minute of my stay here. The breakfast was always delicious. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were very pleasant . I found the rooms to be just fine. Clean. Typical hyatt standards! Thanks for a great stay. Definitely will be back !

The staff are so amazing and friendly. We had a bad experience at another hotel, and they really took care of us and gave my husband his military discount. Second time here, and I love it. Great views and can walk on the beach.

Decided to spend the weekend here as my friends were coming into town. I was disappointed that the pools weren’t open but I gotta say the staff was incredible. I want to specifically shout out Amber: she went above and beyond to make my friends travel well spent despite the situation. We will certainly be coming back to this location soon!!

This was my family's first time in Florida! The hotel upon arrival was amazing. The parking was very accommodating even though it was full. The desk receptionists were very friendly. They also allow pets which was awesome! The facility is clean and the breakfast bar was good. The pool area was nice however I do think there is too much chlorine in the hot tub as it was so strong it burned my eyes. Easy access to beach and just a few minutes driving to the boardwalk. I will absolutely return to this place in the future as it has definitely set the bar and honestly I'm not sure why this place has bad reviews, but I'm also a very humble person.

Great Ocean View Rooms with a balcony. Very Hospitable Staff. Clean Hotel with Delicious Breakfast. Did I mention their prices were 50% less than All other branded hotels & AirBnB options in the area. A Very Pleasant Surprise! Plenty of parking. Go check them out!

Not worth your hard earn money. NO CHAIRS ON Balcony and room smelled like pee. 500$ a night

Our family of 6 booked this hotel for a week. It seems like 6 people in one room would be cramped but it really wasn’t. We have a 13yo, 7yo, 4yo and 2yo with 2 adults. There was 2 queen sized beds that slept like a dream, unlike most hotel beds, and a full size sleeper sofa (my oldest 2 had no complaints) The room was so very clean and smelled really well. (I am the property manager over 30 Air B&B properties so when I say it was clean that is a HUGE compliment) We were notified via phone call about the pool and beach access were taken out by the last hurricane, which was fine with us we were there for the beach we already have pool in our backyard. They also told us that the beach access we could use is only 4 buildings away. The breakfast was amazing with plenty a variety when all 6 of us left with full stomachs each morning. I want to name each person that helped make our vacation special by just welcoming us each day. Front desk: Marcail, Eric, Beyoncé, Nicola, and Mylene. Breakfast staff: Venus, Tafara, Kirk, and Jermaine. Housekeeping Nikki. I want to thank each one of you for welcoming our family each day like we were a part of yours.

If you are looking for a hotel look no further. This hotel is the best I’ve ever stayed at the beds slept amazing great breakfast and most importantly the staff was the friendliest people I’ve ever been around. Thank you for such a great week on the beach look forward to seeing all of you next year!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here at Hyatt Place.Very nice and professional staff,especially Eric at the reception was very welcoming and friendly.highly recommended.

Everything was a good price for a great view
The hotel was clean the bathrooms are spacious
The beds are comfy and there is a daily breakfast. Definitely a great place to sit back and watch waves

I stayed there for several night with my boyfriend and son and We had a really nice experience! The room was nice and cozy! The shower was huge and roomy! The view was incredible! The staff was very helpful and friendly! The only problem we had was the elevators were a long wait most of the time so we took the stairs instead. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean! The poll was nice and my son enjoyed it! The cheesecake at the little store in the lobby was amazing! We will definitely visit here again!

I loved my stay here at the Hyatt, I always enjoy Hyatt hotels for my vacations. This one is particularly nice! Amazing breakfast service, outstanding employee Venus made my stay so enjoyable!
