This place was wonderful. Staff are very friendly. I had the burrata e parma prosciutto antipasti and the bufalina pizza. This is a perfectly done Neapolitan pizza, complete with San Marzano tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella. Overall, an amazing flavor experience.

I go to Vesuvio quite often, and it has just gotten better and better every time! The food- weather it's pizza or salad- is amazing. The people that work there are super nice and diligent. Pizza comes out quicker than any other place I have ever been! It is in a very nice area, and I always feel welcome there! I, as well as my family and everyone I go with, love Vesuvio! I highly recommend eating here if you are ever nearby!

Good pizza, fast service & attentive staff. Small place with really good smells, clean restaurant. We tried their veggie pizza & it was delicious. Their cannoli is also amazing.

I was here for lunch because I was craving pizza so bad. OMG what a nice surprise! Pizza was delicious, the dough was super soft, tasted and looked like the one I had in Italy.

I haven’t found in the US a more authentic Neapolitan Pizza than Vesuvio’s. Massimo was able to import the best ingredients, the tools, and the oven from Napoli, to indulge us to the true Italian pizza.

His talent goes beyond pizza, It’s incredibly hard to determine what’s better, his pizza or the delicious bruschetta con burrata! A must have before your pizza. My favorite pizzas are the Capricciosa and Margherita!

Brick oven pizza that has a delicious 🤤 crust and made to perfection. Had the margarita pizza and it was delicious. If you’re wanting a really good crust and flavor, this is the place to go too. Say hello to Tray. 🖐He does a great job of providing your options and delivering 😁good service. Next time we’re going to dine on the patio that overlooks the street. Complete your meal with a tiramisu. That is absolutely delicious. A hidden gem in the downtown Kennesaw area. I would recommend if you wanting good New York 🍕 that’s tasty and not doughy. This is the place to go. I will definitely be back.

We ordered several pizzas for our family Sunday Night! We are from up North and it is so hard to find authentic Italian pizza! The ingredients are fresh, the crust is soft and every pizza we had tasted amazing! Would definitely recommend. It is small restaurant so we order take out. Customer service was great! Can’t forget to mention the Nutella calzone, the kids loved it!

I had an amazing experience visiting this pizzeria! It’s like stepping into a pizzeria in Italy in the middle of Kennesaw! The pizza is delicious with a very authentic flavor and the staff is great! I highly recommend this place for a good lunch or dinner! Make sure to taste the cannolis as they’re very good!

WOW! Amazing delicious food. The Diavalo and Bufalina were so good. Diavolo has a strong kick but the flavors are so emaculate, you are willing to take the punch. The bruscetta was tasty and the desserts (tiramisu and cannoli) were creamy and sweet. I'm not a big alcohol person but the Peach and Basil drink was a great addition to the food.

What a gem of a find! Vesuvio Pizzeria will make you think you are in Naples (the birthplace of pizza.) The quality ingredients and perfection of the traditional Naples pizza cannot be matched here. I tried the Pompeii and it was delicious. Prices are quite reasonable, especially for this area.

I have a hunch that friendships have ended over the debate of the best pizza in Kennesaw. Afterall, you can find everything from gimmicky large pies, deep dish, stuffed crusts, or even cheap hot-and-ready $5 heartburn givers. But there's one thing we can all agree on, when we have outstandingly good pizza, we know it. That's exactly what many folks have found with Vesuvio Pizzeria Napoletana.

The fresh and premium ingredients are the first thing you’ll notice. You won’t find the average tired and sub-par toppings here. Instead, you will savor things like Vesuvio cherry and San Marzano tomatoes, Calabrese peppers, and Cotto ham. Most of Vesuvio’s ingredients, including the meats and cheeses, are imported from Naples. You can choose between the red and white pizza’s, known as Rosse and Bianche and both are equally delicious. There are a handful of specialty pizzas featuring both varieties and you can even create a masterpiece your own. I’d like to recommend my favorite, the Diavola. You'll love it if you are in the mood for a spicy hot combination.

Below the toppings is what’s most remarkable and what keeps me coming back for more, the crust. It’s delightful. It’s a perfect balance of being light and airy while still being tender and moist. The edges are perfectly charred where kissed by the high heat of the imported brick oven. That signature char adds a perfect touch to the overall flavor and intent of the pizza. Simply put, its perfect.

There are a few items for those who want somewhat of a lighter fare by way of salads and appetizers. A handful of artisan sandwiches are a temping option. There's even Lasagna made with bolognese (meat sauce) and besciamella. The menu is rounded out with a few fresh desserts. Look for lunchtime specials for two and even catering options if you should have a need.

Soft drinks including imported sparkling waters are available but by single serve cans and bottles only (no fountain). Complimentary water is available for self-serve for the cheapskates. There is also a modest selection of beers and wine.

The dining room itself is underwhelming but it’s clean and inviting and has a view of the beautiful tile adorned oven. Your ordering routine will be counter-service and mainly self-seating beyond that. While your pizza is delivered to your table, it is pretty much self-serve from there with a center of the room column/counter holding all the trimmings you may expect to find at a pizza place. On nice days, I prefer the patio seating with views of main street and people watching as they go hurrying along. Oh yeah, the restroom is clean which is always a good indication of a responsibly managed restaurant.

Overall, I think anyone who appreciates artisan pizza with premium ingredients will love it here. Watching the owner, Massimo, who is a native of Naples, artfully prepare your pizza and bake it in that beautiful brick oven is a sight to see. The pizza speaks for itself.
