Jaime was so helpful when I needed a quick turnaround for a gluten free cake for my mom's birthday! I called to place the order over the phone, and she explained what flavors and fillings were available for next day pick up, and asked about any other dietary restrictions/allergies. Everything at this bakery is gluten free, so I didn't feel limited to just a handful of choices. I'll definitely be ordering again whenever I need gluten free baked goods!

This place offers delicious, custom cakes that can be made to suit any number of dietary restrictions. I will say that I don’t know how they are able to create such delicious cakes that also look good without using any soy, dairy, or egg, for example.

The staff is also awesome and very helpful when placing an order, with consideration of any need by date and time.

Bought my second birthday cake today. I love this place and wish I lived closer to it. Jaime is so attentive and a true master of her craft.

We got the Vegan Feastin Family Meal, a bunch of vegan and non-dairy treats, and a regular donut. The whole family loved all of it! The Vegan Feastin was a great meal, and I really appreciated the veggies that were roasted to perfection. We have plenty of leftovers from the family meal. The donuts, cupcakes, brownies, and muffins were all delicious. I was so impressed because we had never had vegan or non-dairy bakery items before, and it was all absolutely delicious! We will definitely go back for more deliciousness!

Red Bandana Bakery makes the ultimate carrot cake-the best on this planet!

Unlike other gluten-free carrot cakes, which I have tasted before, which have been too heavy, too bland, too sweet, awful frosting the Red Bandana Bakery has created by far a gluten-free carrot cake that should be featured on the Food Network] Who knew that me asking for them to make a carrot cake without nuts with buttercream frosting would end up testing, so good I end up ordering another one under the guise of an excuse to honor a loved ones birthday🙏🏿🥹🎂😎🙏🏿😇🥰🥰

I am not sure how they do it, but it’s like magic! And the design was perfect! I asked for sin flowers and creatively they created some flowers using buttercream.(oh my gosh, some flowers from delicious!

Gluten-free is definitely the way to go in if I’m going to have a gluten-free cake, cupcake or any other product definitely this is a place to go.

I’m already thinking of ideas for my birthday in June!!

The owner /operator Jaimie Mertz is the
nicest, most professional, friendly and courteous person to interact with – every year when they come to her to create cupcakes or carrot cakes, she somehow imagines the most creative way to bring decorations and something to eat to suction of a level I feel very sad to even eat the item – as you know from this cake photos!

PS she even created me made cupcakes for me with Gnomes on them for my birthday one year!!

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. Here's why:

My wife and I were bummed because we thought we were going to miss Fastnacht Day, a Pennsylvania Dutch Mardi Gras tradition. Fortunately, Jaimie, the owner of Red Bandana, was able to perfectly replicate a fastnacht recipe for us on request. Our family was thrilled.

When we picked up the order, we decided to have lunch -- BEST IDEA EVER. The food was so delicious we went back and ordered a bunch more to take home.

I can't recommend this bakery highly enough. No matter what you're in the mood for, give it a try. The staff is super friendly, and they have a huge variety of amazing food.

This place is amazing! I was more than impressed with the service and blown away when I received my order! Jaimie (and staff) are the best! Did an outstanding job on my 40th birthday cupcakes! Almost didn’t want to eat them because they looked so beautiful! These were the best gluten free cupcakes I’ve had to date. I will most definitely order from this bakery again. If you have gluten (dietary) restrictions (or just want some good cakes and baked goods) I highly recommend this bakery. They also have a good menu of other gluten free eats when you visit the bakery! Outstanding!

They make so many wonderful treats and it is easy to get gluten free and vegan items or whatever you need. This bakery made my wedding cake and is still my go to place for gluten free baked goods.

When my husband and I were planning our wedding, it was very important for us to have it be strictly gluten free (or as gluten free as possible) since my husband has Celiac disease. We were pleased to know that Red Bandana Bakery wasn't too far away from Baltimore and immediately fell in love with their delicious GF bakery treats. The tasting was a lot of fun. We got to taste the different cakes, jams, and frostings--all of which were delicious. The fact that the tasting fee went towards our final wedding cake fee made making our decision very easy. Jaimie was really easy to talk to and was able to capture the vision of our cake. Communication was easy during the planning stages and we were not disappointed when we saw our cake on our wedding day. Lucky for us, we still have one more piece to savor on our anniversary. Husband ordered me a birthday cake from this bakery and accidentally forgot to pick it up on my birthday (long story😂). He called the bakery to pay for the order and they generously offered to remake the cake. Well, we’ve eaten cake and ice cream every night since picking it up. Needless to say, it exceeded my expectations! It’s amazing to be able to enjoy cake again with my dietary restrictions (gluten, dairy, and egg free).

My partner has issues with dairy and egg, so, we were delighted to stumble upon Red Bandana! We originally ordered some smaller snacks and they were great.
The reason for the 5 stars - is we emailed them about a birthday cake dairy/egg free birthday cake, along with a flavor and some ideas/examples we were thinking about, and just let them do their magic. Jaimie and team knocked it out of the park! She was super helpful, answering a million questions back and forth on email. Payment and pickup was a breeze.

We had a great experience with Red Bandana! Jaimie was very responsive to my short turnaround request for a cake, and it came out beautifully decorated. It was a delicious red velvet cake. It was moist and really well-balanced. Not too sweet. We will definitely order from them again!

I found this bakery online before I drove thru Maryland. I was delighted to find a gluten-free bakery! I used their online ordering to get some bonfire brownie cupcakes, pictured, to take to family. We each enjoyed them! I also had a delicious breakfast there at their outside table. Had a bacon, egg sandwich on ancient grain bread and some dairy-free pumpkin bisque. Very tasty!

I have a loved one who developed a laundry list of food allergies a couple of years ago. We were so excited to finally get her a birthday cake that she could eat, and it was as delicious as she'd hoped!

Red Bandana Bakery makes the absolute best gluten free desserts! The presentation is always fantastic and the taste is just as good (you would have no idea they’re gluten free!). Past clients have loved having Red Bandana provide the desserts for their event.

Everything about this place is great. Their cheese bread is one of the best things I have ever tasted. Coffee is hot and delicious, the pastries and cakes look and taste amazing. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Service is fast and polite. I would 100% recommend this place for anyone.

I'm amending this review because I went back and got a cake for my wife's birthday. It was a Taskmaster themed birthday party. Look at this cake. LOOK AT THIS CAKE! How incredibly awesome is this cake?! Jamie did such an incredibly good job with this cake. I can't stop eating this cake, it's so damn delicious. You want an awesome cake like this? Jaimie made my husband and I an absolutely stunning wedding cake! We were blown away! She made it look even better than the inspiration photo I sent her. The whole crowd was blown away as well! Even people who don't usually eat gluten and dairy free. The cake looked and tasted amazing. An extra bonus is her very fair prices. I highly recommend booking Red Bandana for any specialty cakes and stopping into their bakery for all their other treats.

Great find for allergy friendly food, gluten free and nut free. They use rice or tapioca flour, not almond. Everything was good. My favorite was the chocolate brownie. We also ordered a avocado toast and a bacon egg and cheese bagel, which were both really good.
