Effingham Smiles Family Dentistry

From the moment I walked through the door till the moment I left, made me smile! The girls are absolutely wonderful and made sure they explained everything I needed to know. The doc came in and greeted me and made sure everything was perfect! They are caring, nurturing and loving to their patients! I'm so glad I found Effingham Smiles! I highly recommend! They even entertained my little one while she waited for my cleaning 💕

Dr. Welsh and his staff were FANTASTIC! I have not been to a dentist in some time (because of a bad experience) but I would 100% recommend them and I am even going back in 2 weeks . They did excellent work, the temporary crown looks better than a permanent one I got elsewhere. GREAT GREAT GREAT BED SIDE MANNER

Everyone was very friendly, quick and thorough! They were full of knowledge and ready to educate us when we had questions. We will definitely be returning for as long as they'll have us!

I always have a great experience when I come here. I absolutely loved the girl who did my cleaning when I came this past time and Dr. Buck did a great job on my cavity filling. I can get very nervous with shots and they provided me with comfort and patience. Highly recommend.

Amazing Staff. My family has been going to this office 10+ years and always fantastic service. I went in today thinking all I needed was a filling and it ended up being serious. I just got my braces off recently and I developed a hairline fracture where part of my tooth broke off. The Doctor needed to do a crown and they made the time to get it done right that moment. All of the employees are so kind and take the time with me. This has always been the case. I Definitely recommend Effingham Smiles with all of your Dental care needs. A+++++

The staff at Effingham Smiles is top notch! When we first moved here a year ago we had many people refer us to this practice and I can see why! Patient, kind, considerate and did I mention patient? ❤ so glad to call them our family’s dentist.

Just this year , I started seeing Doctors Yates and Welch at Effingham Smiles because my old dental provider was no longer an in network provider. I have seen both Dr. Yates and Dr. Welch and I was impressed with their abilities, professionalism and friendliness. Their staff is also very able, professional and friendly!

This has been my favorite dental office that I have ever been to. The staff are friendly and inviting and go out of their way to make sure everything is taken care of for you. They are up front in pricing and options as well as how procedures go. They never tried to sell extra procedures or make unnecessary recommendations. I feel like a cared for patient as opposed to a dollar sign every time we come. They are also great with our kids and will be our family dentist. Highly recommend!

Let me start off by saying I do not like going to the dentist and have never had a positive experience until I came here. Very friendly staff. Very clean, and I can tell they take pride in keeping the office looking nice. Dr. Yates is so friendly and good at what she does. I call with questions, and they never seem annoyed. My kids, husband, and myself go here. Great place for the family. Side note, I am one of those who expect a high level of customer service and I would give effingham smiles an A++

Customer service was A+. I was so nervous about my visit today, everyone assured me that it was going to be ok and it was. Effingham Smiles is now my forever dentist.

This dentist office is absolutely hands down the best office ever!! I’ve been to a ton of dentist and almost all of them had made me feel terrible about how my teeth looked. This office has such amazing staff every one of them are amazing. Ive always been terrified of the dentist and today I went in a had multiple teeth removed and it was the best experience ever! They were gentle, sweet, very informative on what they were doing, and have the best bed side manner!! Dr.Yates and her team are simply the best!! If you’re scared of the dentist this is the office to go to. They will take great care of you!!

We've been going to this wonderful group for more than a decade now and never been led astray. Even with all the upgrades, there's still a great doctor, amazing techs, and kind-hearted nurses. Works great with our insurance so we're not paying more than needed. I like places what they say the upfront cost without hiding fees that aren't seen until after.
They're hospitality is sweet, making the work being done pleasant for their patients. Any dental place who can calm a kid down for whatever reason is why we go there. Today, one of the techs was walking hand in hand with a patient just to keep him calm, cool, and collected.
Most certainly recommend.
***Update 18 January ***
Over the past few months, I've had to have some extensive work done. Dr. Welch and his wonderful team, walked me through how long it would take, what the finished result would be, and cost. The did all they could to work with insurance and budgeting. Today I finally got my smile back! The work surpassed what I thought would have been great! Today's nurse, helped me stay calm and relaxed. Normally I'm pretty good having stuff done, I just think I couldn't get the picture out of my head. If you're new to town or just thinking of moving from your current dentist, please give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

Dr. Yates is amazing! She’s thorough and ensures everything is as it should be. She’s patient and explains procedures in a manner that helps you better understand your dental care. All the hygienist are friendly and ensure you feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible. The front end staff is second to none. They go over what your insurance will and won’t cover and break it all down for you. Everyone’s welcoming and friendly. The office even got our kids in when their dentist dropped the ball. Thankful to have found a trustworthy dentist for the whole family.

I have been to Effingham smiles plenty of times before, but on my recent visit I had the best dental hygienist ever. I came for cleaning and she did such and amazing job. She did so great I recommend a few of my coworkers to them who were looking for dentists. They are a great place to go and have great service!!!

What a great first visit. The office staff was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable with my payment before my appointment. My hygienist was thorough and very friendly. As a red head with a fear of the dentist that has not been in 4 years, it was a very pleasant experience and I will be happy to go back.

I had an awful toothache so My stepdaughter used to work here so I said let me check them out. Well I'm glad I did. The staff here is amazing. So kind and respectful. I was very comfortable even though I was in some pain. I decided to make these guys (young ladies) my choice in my dentist office. Thank you ladies!!! Keep up the good work and I'll see you soon
