This place is freaking amazing. This may be my new favorite place ever. What amazing great food and a good deal. All this and a dessert and a drink for 15 bucks. Get outta town.

Mrs. Jean's is a great restaurant any day for lunch, but our favorite day is Sunday after church. If you are in doubt about what to get, do yourself a favor and get the fried chicken! It has won several awards over the years, and it never disappoints!

Southern cooking at its finest. The menu changes every day with the exception of fried chicken. And the fried chicken is so good it should be served every day.

She has home cooked food which is nice to eat and always tastes good! We have only a few sit down restaurants and most are Mexican or fast food.

Great food and people. They make you feel like family. Will be going again, just wish their hours were better.

Really really good southern homestyle cuisine!!! The fried chicken is to die for! Soft tender Biscuits, melt un your mouth mac and cheese and some of the best rice and gravy ever to enter my mouth!! Service was excellent as well!

AMAZING.... fresh, delicious, and filling lunch! I kick myself for not visiting sooner in my life. The decor is aged as is the funiture... but don't let that discourage you from the meal that is waiting!! Servers and waiting staff are pleasant as well.

Hometown, "mom&pop shop" feel to a Cracker Barrel. Amazing food that has that amazing "grandma made it" feel to it that you know you will enjoy. Service is always helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place.

3/25/24 definitely an older crowd! Always fried chicken then other entrees and vegetables. Buffet line moves fast. Pleasant workers.

This is as close to good old home cooking as you can get. I have the local sheriff's eating here now with me! When the locals eat there you know it's got to be good.
Part food, part local community hangout. Lovely home cooked food and cheap to boot.
A must visit if you want to eat like the locals and take in the southern laid back vibe.

The food is excellent! Worth the drive if you are anywhere near. We have been on a quest for the best Mac and Cheese and this is where you find it. The cornbread is close behind. The famous fried chicken was delicious. It is a must order. They have the best value and the best people. We will be back as often as we are in Rincon area. If you are on your way to the beach it is worth the drive over.

We recently discovered Ms. Jean's after moving to the area, and we absolutely love it. The food is true southern staples and everything tastes like it was cooked by your grandma. The staff is super friendly and the prices can't be beat. Get there before noon if possible to get a table. I wish I could give it more than five stars!

The food is amazing! The people are amazing! It gives a Ambiance of a Countryside Cracker Barrel family store. I enjoyed it and they accepted my service dog. And for that I have to say thank you I appreciate them and all that they're doing.
