DISCO MARATHON

Was passing through the area because we had a Strip-O-Gram to deliver for a bachelorette party up in the mountains. I was scared I was going to run out of gas for a minute until I saw this sweet oasis of a gas station. I was quite impressed and surprised upon entry. It was a great gas station with a lot of choices, clean store, clean bathrooms and a really nice and cool owner. I usually don't leave reviews for gas stations (unless God awful) if that tells you anything! Keep up the good work at Marathon and I'll most definitely be back next time I'm in the area for work from Atlanta! 💯

Pumps open, decent selection of food

After a long day of chasing waterfalls down stressfully claustrophobic dirt roads, and having zero success, we happened upon the Disco Store. Though unassuming from the outside, once inside the style of the store and the sounds of Billy Ocean's Caribbean Queen (the full 7 minute version too, not the chopped up radio version) told us we had stopped at the RIGHT PLACE. This store was one of the highlights of our anniversary vacay, and we will be back to see the badass lady and purchase some more of her hard to find drinks and snacks!!

Definitely the coolest, neatest, greatest little convenience store I've run across in years!!! We were on our way home from Blue Ridge - needed some gas, wanted some snacks, and dropped into this place. SO glad that we did! It definitely has a funk-a-delic 60's-70's type vibe with cool lights & stuff on the ceiling! I hope they NEVER take that stuff down. Plus, I noticed a nice selection of craft beers (I've included some poster shots of some of the more humorous offerings) - and our whole party (4) really enjoyed our impromptu visit here.
I do know this:
The next time we go visiting Dahlonega, we're stopping here just for the fun & uniqueness of it, plus the friendly proprietor! It's a cool 'tourist' stop - at the least! She was as sweet & cool as a person can be. It's not often a convenience store sticks in memory - but this one will! - and in ALL the right ways! Great job, staff, crew, owners, whoever! :-D

I've been a"regular" at disco marathon located just north of dahlonega for the past 5 almost 6 years. The owner and the people that work for her have been in many of my cases an absolute blessing. I can never give them enough praise for the help that they have given me. Her store is always clean, well run and convenient. And, they finally have the music pumping outside as well as in!!!! Now, if I can just figure out some way to get them to stay open just a bit later....LOL. Many thanks and gratitude to you all.

On Christmas eve we were staying at the barefoot hills inn, woke up 18 degrees inside an outside our room. The office was closed and no emergency phone number.
I thought we were going to Die..
With a woman and a dog depending on me I started driving down the road looking for something open on Christmas day, a house a store anything. That's when I found the Marathon! The really sweet lady listened to my situation and went to the back room handed my a new space heater handed it to a stranger
Refused to take money!

Great location for a huge variety of IPAs, Wine, and Imported drinks. Snacks are plentiful and a Freal machine is a great new addition. (Disco light and sealing lights paired with a mix of music makes this place unique)

Very clean and friendly staff! They also have all kinds of local beer choices. Been gas from Disco station for Atleast 5 years and never had any issues at all. Love this place.

I enjoy this Gas Station it's always clean and there are so friendly and helpful and we always buy all of our fuel at this station I have never had any issues with there gas here it always tested good. We have to test all the fuel we use for work. This is the best place in this area to buy fuel.

I would rather go here than a liquor total wine, or anything. the beer selection is incredible. Would not stop at a different gas station

Cute atmosphere! However, they are over priced on delta 8 items.

The bathrooms were super clean and the lady working there was really nice.

Best store in town!

Has more variety of vapes than just 2. It may have a chance to contain AT LEAST 6 vapes. I heard it has over 9 variety of vapes, but I only heard.

Small parking lot

We stopped here to fill our tires. Their air machine ate a bunch of our quarters without putting out any air. They wouldn't refund us. Skip this gas station, go to the Chevron down the street.

The coffee is awful
