Meadowbrook Local Park

Part of Rock Creek National Park, there are large athletic fields and one used by dog owners, a terrific children's playground "Candy Cane City" (fenced for toddlers), and public lit tennis courts. Paved walking path around the fields and alongside the stables next door. Many trails into the wooded park. Note that after rains the grounds can be soppy and trails mucky. Small reservable building for social gathering with big indoor room and covered outdoor picnic table area; grills nearby. Parking lots along Beach Drive and Meadowbrook Lane off East West Hwy. Public porta-johns.

It was peaceful, beautiful and the people there was very caution using mask when getting close to each other!!

Very nice park right on the same grounds as the stable and Rock Creek Park.

Well kept. The activity center is nice and clean, and the restrooms are well kept. Great for gatherings. The playground is well maintained.

Lovely park with a nice playground for kids. Nice tennis courts, ballfield, building for events with covered outdoor area with picnic tables. The park turns into Rock Creek Park in DC. Highly recommend the park.

My favorite place for my lil guy..... he ran through the wet grass today, a happy pup!!! All the joy my heart ❤ will ever need!

This Wonderful place I have Visited WATCHED KIDS I KNOW LEARN TO RIDE HORSES AND LOVE THEM BUT ALSO TEACHES KIDS ALL ABOUT THE ANIMAL RESPECT KINDNESS TOWARD HORSES AND ALSO HARD WORK CARING FOR EACH HORSE MY NIECE BECAME COMPETTITOR IN HORSE EVENTS AND LEARNED IT ALL WITH THEPATIENT INSTRUCTORS WHO LOVE WHAT THEY DO AND HORSES LOVE THEM THANKYOU MEADOWBROOK STABLES

Cool park, Candy Cane Land has been around since the 70's or 80's, but with some changes. Soccer & baseball fields, & tennis courts. Whether biking on the road or trail, it's a nice place to pedal. Portions of Beach Drive are closed and some open.

Meadowbrook is an outstanding park. Plenty of fields and walking trails. It's cool to see folks riding horses while on a quick walk. It is well maintained at all times.

I love this place. Quiet, friendly people, great for kids and adults. Playground, tennis, basketball court, portor-johns,free parking, baseball field,horse a block away.next to a creek,nice field to cut loose. Great place to pick Nick

Great park. Full of adventure around the edges. Baseball, Soccer, Tennis, dog walking. Plenty of room. Little shade in the center of the Park, but lots around the edges. And there's a building.

It's a beautiful place where you can spend time and have fun with your family.

The tennis courts have lights!
