When I first moved to Rockville from DC, I shopped around and church hopped for a while before settling here at Christ Church. Three things grabbed me from the beginning: (1) a consistently outstanding, versatile choir that can transition seamlessly from raising the roof and melting the candle wax to quieting the soul with a calming balm of mellifluous melody; (2) thoughtful, insightful, engaging preaching that both educates and challenges me; and (3) a diverse congregation that warmly (but blessedly not in an in-your-face way) welcomes newcomers and long-timers alike.
