Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian Center

I was visiting Maryland for business related work and stayed at this property. Staff here was very friendly and helpful. My room was on the 10th floor, concierge level and had good view of the lake and Rio.
Food at the lounge was very decent and had a good spread of veggies.

My stay was very relaxed and comfortable, will always come back here.

Great staff, I want to give a special shout out to Daniella, Mike, James and Devin they always went above and beyond if I had any trouble. Also the housekeeper Elizabeth always made sure our room was clean and spotless. I love coming to this hotel. The staff always recommended great places try out! Will be back again

Absolutely amazing staff. They are beyond friendly and went out of their way to do things to try and make me comfortable (was on a work trip and couldn’t stop coughing). They were making me teas and drinks to help try to suppress the cough - didn’t even ask. Great people, great service. Only complaint is the beds being a bit on the harder side.

It is a nice hotel on the "boardwalk" around The Rio, in Gaithersburg. There is a wide selection of restaurants, movie theater, and boutique shops that are in walking distance.

The hotel is located in a great area, next to the Rio Boardwalk in Bethesda. The hotel accommodations were superb. The staff was professional and friendly.

Always stay here when visiting family. Its one of the nicer hotels in the area. Its located in a great area with plenty of restaurants, bars, shopping and entertainment. Rooms in the back will have a nice view of the pond. There is plenty of parking and rooms are clean and up to date. Reception and staff are always kind and professional. This place can book up fast for conferences and parties.

We attended a family wedding, and everything was beautifully done! The service was great!! And the food was delicious. We had the salmon, and the yellow cake with icing was pretty good, but the red velvet needed some help. Other than that, it was a wonderful time and a beautiful wedding there!!

Always a wonderful stay! The front staff and the people at the bar are great. I’ve been coming here a lot for work and I always look forward to staying here. The location is very central to a great lake, restaurants and entertainment. The front staff is also very accommodating to late check outs which I appreciated very much.

Super convenient, clean and accessible. Comfortable room and courteous staff. Will absolutely be back soon. Also delightful view at night from the room and adjacent to the hotel. Super easy access to the pond and area attractions like Dave & Busters and the AMC theater.

Due to a project, which got extended over and over again, i spent quite a few months in total here this year. Reception, Bar, Security, Housekeeping staff etc. were all so amazing. Felt very welcomed here and the overall competence as well as the motivation of the staff to make your stay special was totally outstanding.
Really gonna miss most of them and hope to see them again!

My daughter and I stayed here last week during the independence day weekend. The hotel was quiet, clean and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The location was ideal: we walked over to AMC for a movie-night right across the hotel! The breakfast food was so well prepared I left a note to the food service manager about how much we appreciated the wonderfully prepared food, even though it was a slow weekend with very few customers at the hotel. I am impressed by the quality of the service and highly recommend this hotel!

Very nice place to walk around the man-made lake. There is a theater, and several restaurants on one side of the lake and on the other side children play area. A book store and shopping area is also nearby!

Attended a celebration for work there and catering and service was superb. The catering workers/service at night were very nice and polite. They even brought us silverware when we asked when we were standing up (not our table) eating and taking pictures.

I visited this location for business travel and was exceptionally pleased with my experience. Upon arrival, I received a small welcome gift [as a member of the rewards program], and had a beautiful lake facing room. I was pleased that it was quiet and all service requests were tended to with care.

During my stay I enjoyed the fitness facility, restaurant, and adjacent attractions at Rio. It was very nice to have the option to go to the movie theatre or walk around the lake right next to the front door.

Even though there were many highlights of this trip, the best part was undoubtedly the service provided by Carla [front desk]. She went above and beyond in helping me with all of my questions and become acquainted with the area. I even had a few requests that were not part of the regular offerings and she helped craft and deliver innovative solutions. It was a refreshing relief to receive such excellent customer service that would be more commonly associated with the St Regis.

Overall I strongly recommend this hotel for any business travelers and also believe it would be suitable for families as it quite safe and orderly. There are also adjacent attractions for children including a carousel, large arcade and multiple high quality family restaurants.

Justin is amazing at his Job!!

Hotel maybe a lil older but the service and this Location is excellent for Families to do a Quick getaway! Dave & Buster, AMC, Skydiving… it’s a lot to do in 2 days!!
Guapo’s Mexican style restaurant might have to go during day time at night is busy!!!

GREAT SERVICE FROM MIKE THE BARTENDER...AROUND CLOSING TIME...HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT FOOD AND MADE THE BEST OLD FASHION I'VE HAD IN A WHILE...AS A BUSINESS OWNER THESE GREAT EMPLOYEES ARE RARE..MANAGEMENT PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE HIM OR I WILL RETURN AND HIRE HIM MYSELF...MET JUSTIN AND HE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL GREAT SERVICE..

We had a 50th year old birthday party at the Marriott. The party was flawless. The staff was super helpful throughout the whole process. Were able to stay within our budget and they offer cost cutting options to make it work. Everyone at the party had a blast and remarked about how nice everything went. Thank you to everyone who helped make my husband party something to remember.
