Swamp Daddy's

It's early in crawfish season, but I had some really large crawfish and they were seasoned perfectly. The owner was making rounds making sure everyone was taken care of. Service was great and atmosphere was relaxing. We will definitelybe back.

THE BEST. The showstopper is out of control awesome with the most flavorful crawfish anywhere. Love!!

One of my favorite places when I am in Alexandria (LA) . During crawfish season specially, simply perfectly boiled, spicy but not too much, can be eating dads all night long.

They do only have one dessert option: White chocolate bread pudding with vanilla ice cream... Zillion calories, but who cares!

Friendly staff and absolutely good value for the money. Strongly recommended if you are around!

They refurbished the restaurant a while ago and looks really good!

Hungry for crawfish, Swamp Daddy's was recommended so we gave it a try. The staff were super friendly, yet not overbearing. Prices were moderate, much to my surprise. The food...amazing!! I had the 5 pound boiled crawfish platter. This comes with one boiled potato and one ear of corn, think nibblet. Not one flat tail in the platter and the crawfish ranged from medium to large. Not too spicy either. This was about as perfect as you could ask for. There are other options on the menu if crawfish are not your thing, catfish, shrimp, oysters, crackers, even hamburgers. Run, don't walk, to Swamp Daddy's. You won't be disappointed.

Loved it! We wished we could have dined in but dining area did not open until 5:00. But we made the best of it!

Great service, great food. Cold beer by the bucket. I had the boiled shrimp which were delicious. The boudin balls are on point as well. I miss them (I'm from South Dakota).

The wait staff was very friendly. I tried quite a few items on the menu, and they were all very good. Are the bread pudding, and the seafood gumbo stood out. I recommend this place Haley, and I would return in the future.

Excellent food! Our server, Valerie, was outstanding! She was attentive and provided flawless service. The crawfish were perfectly prepared and were just hot enough for my delicate palate. The seafood bisque is the best around; highly recommended it. Go eat at Swamp Daddy's, you won't be disappointed!

The Cajun rolls might be the best thing I've ever tasted and the catfish was really good as well. The "swamp sauce" that they serve is good enough to drink by itself. My favorite Cajun food in Alexandria.

All the LA goodness you'd hope for with that Southern charm and sweet-smiling, friendly service. Every bite is packed with flavor, and you get so much food for the price. The fried green tomato app is a MUST!!!

Burgers & fries were really good. Crawfish was excellent according to my family members who ate it. My only complaint was how crowded the big tables were where we were seated (by the kitchen door). No room for an infant carrier so I sat it on the floor mostly tucked under the table which I don't/didn't mind. My chair touched the guest's chair behind me so when my 7 week old needed to eat, I couldn't reach him due to no room to move my chair an inch. I ended up finally switching seats once the guests behind me saw me struggling to lean over to reach him & I was able to hold him (on the table bc no room to move my new chair back) to feed him a bottle. Will try a different sitting area next time.

I haven’t been here in awhile, but the last time I was there, the food was great. One of my Facebook friends ate there last week and made a post and they will be returning back.

Cleanest, great sized, and perfectly cooked crawfish! This is definitely a must do with a big ole bread pudding for dessert. Cold beer and cokes available along with a great menu for those that do not do crawfish. Catfish, shrimp, baked potato, boudin balls, and bisque all look fantastic but we can’t pass up the crawfish! 3 and 5 lb options along with shrimp and crab leg combos.

This was my first time eating in thus restaurant. My wife ordered their Cajun nachos. It wasn't really what I wanted, but I wasn't mad at them. I ordered the boiled shrimp. They were huge and cooked to perfection. I am not a big cocktail sauce person, but theirs was spot on. And the bread pudding....is by far the best I've have. Our waitress Danielle was excellent. 10 out of 10!

Awesome place for a pretty authentic (according to the locals) crawfish boil. The bread pudding, you need to save room for.

Service is great, food is excellent! If you're craving or wanting to try crawfish, this is the place to get it.
