Convenient and Comfortable Stay with Excellent Service

I recently booked a block of 11 rooms at the College Park Maryland Marriott for a funeral. While our stay was primarily for a somber occasion, the hotel provided a comfortable and convenient base for our family.

Flame, Trey, and Larry Rollins at the front desk were extremely helpful and accommodating, making the check-in process smooth for most of our group. However, our experience with Tyler Rhodes was less satisfactory, as he was not helpful when my uncle and I had questions or during check-in.

Despite this, the overall experience at the hotel was very positive. The suites were spacious and provided a great space for our family to connect between the service and departure. The location was ideal, being close to where the funeral was held and my parents' house. Additionally, parking was free and easy, which added to the convenience.

I would definitely stay here again due to its proximity to my family. Having seen both the King rooms and suites, I can confidently say they are comfortable for any future stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the University of Maryland campus or the surrounding area.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting for a conference. Had a great time. Really good service and super clean room. I stayed in a Deluxe King bed room. They have two buildings with a separate free parking garage. You just need the room key to access it. Breakfast is not complementary but there is a restaurant in one of the buildings - I had breakfast and dinner here and the food was really yum. Will definitely come back.

Rooms are new and clean. The only complaint there is this trend with narrow, open showers. The rooms are small so there's not a lot they can do here but these showers are annoying. The buildings are beautiful and nice to walk around. Concierge lounge is one of the best I've been in and the gym is in the top 3 hotel gyms I've ever seen, maybe the best. Parking garage is free so that's a great feature.

Wonderful staff in the hotel. Maria and Elena in the concierge lounge were just fantastic! The Common restaurant was so tasty and friendly too! Easy parking and 5 minutes from the visitor parking on campus.

O M G!!!!!
I was skeptical about how the building looked… I guess I was so used to seeing the “typical” hotel infrastructure… but listen, this hotel is a hidden treasure. This is by far one of the best Marriotts we have experienced. The Wings we got at the restaurant “honey old bay” was soooooo good!!!! The restaurant staff was so nice and welcoming. And O WE GOT A SURPRISE!!!!!… We walked into the main lobby and met an amazing staff, BIG SHOUT OUT TO LARRY ROLLINS AT THE FRONT DESK… He introduced us to the UMGC’s art gallery, and gave us a tour of that hidden treasure. Upon entering the hotel the art gallery isn’t apparent, but this young man introduced us to it, and took the time out to take us on the tour. This was truly an experience for my husband I. THANK YOU LARRY ROLLINS! You truly added the icing on the cake for us!! Our stay here was well spent. We have found our new home in DC!!!

Interesting place! Great location, great staff, lot's of free covered parking. The room was cozy and had everything you would need. Very clean and comfortable!
The conference rooms were nice! Didn't get a chance to have dinner in the restaurant however I did have a slice of their delicious Smith Island Cake and a great cup of coffee. Would definitely stay there again.

This place is amazing. I came here for my DC trip for 8th grade and it had everything I need to do what I have to each day, the only reason I give the rooms 4 stars is because it doesn't have a microwave so we have to go downstairs to cook anything we have

I checked in around 8pm and no one was at the desk. Usually, they come out quickly to assist but I waited about 3 minutes or so, all the while I heard people talking in the back. However, when the person arrived she was kind, efficient and knowledgeable!

The rooms are incredible. They are roomy and the beds are comfy. The bathroom is modern and has that extra shower head to get all your parts clean.

They even offer the little extras that make difference like a fridge and safe in the room, a vanity area, great make-up lighting in the bathroom and q-tips, cotton balls and an emergency sewing kit.

The restaurant was open. Food was delicious. Downside is the sorbet wasn't at the same level as the other desserts. It tasted like the discount sorbet at the grocery store. But the salmon was delightful. The drinks from the bar were great too!

I will definitely be back!

What a beautiful property. Can't say enough good about the friendly and cordial staff at all levels. The art galleries are a bonus and just add to the overall ambiance of the property.

I recently stayed at and attended a conference at this hotel. The hotel itself is gorgeous and well maintained. The rooms were clean, although for a 5 day stay it would've been nice if there was a microwave available as well as a larger mini fridge as the ones provided were super small. The staff on the hotel side and the conference side were very pleasant and on top of all our needs. I have to give Hunter a huge thank you because during the conference he attended our every need during the nightly dinners and was amazing. He went above and beyond to accommodate last minute substitutions due to allergies and dietary restrictions! Kudos Hunter!

I rarely leave reviews for anything. However, after staying at this Marriott I needed to. EVERY single staff member from front desk, cleaning, restaurant/bar was absolutely amazing. Extremely friendly and made me feel right at home. Room was nice and super clean every day. Food at the restaurant on site was good. I stayed 4 nights and I do not have 1 complaint for them.

The hotel and the rooms were very nice. The room was quite a bit smaller than I was expecting but since I was traveling solo it wasn't a big deal for me. Could have used more space to hang the clothes though.

I recently had the privilege of staying at the Marriott Hotel, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exemplary. From the moment I checked in, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. The room was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and the attention to detail was evident. Moreover, the amenities provided were top-notch, catering to both business and leisure travelers alike. It's clear to me that Marriott upholds a gold standard in hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to colleagues, students, and any traveler seeking a first-class experience.

I travel every other week, as I work production for meetings and events. I live in a different hotel every other week, so I typically don't write reviews for every hotel I visit. However, I felt inclined to do so for this past trip at this property. Every staff member I encountered with was great, HOWEVER.. the shining star at this hotel is Maria at the Concierge level.

Myself and my co-workers decided to go there every night to "pre-game" before our dinner during the week, and Maria was just absolutely amazing. She was the most friendliest and sweetest person. She made sure we were taken care of, and she was just the sweetest person to talk to. We actually were sad to check out, because we all were going to miss her.

I truly hope this hotel knows the gem of a worker that they have with her. She's absolutely amazing.

Maria, thank you so much for taking care of us, and for the conversations this past week.

We will miss you! :)

Friendly, courteous, and helpful staff. Great amenities with clean rooms. The room I stayed in was a little on the smaller side but met all my needs. Would happily stay here again.

Sons College graduation. Lovely conference rooms. Great food. On campus. Have to deal with traffic to get there of course. Did notice scooters for students to hop on and ride, cool. Totally enjoyed my time visiting.

Very nice hotel! The rooms were small yet very modern, cozy and clean. We were by the elevator and surprisingly we could not even tell. The design, artwork, and layout of the hotel is beautiful. The staff were attentive and kind. They have a nice restaurant down stairs and the services that were great. Parking was free. We used Uber to go to all the main attractions. The distance is only about 10 miles but about 30-35 minutes because of traffic. Over all great location and quality of services and rooms.
