Kaldi’s Social House Silver Spring

Coffee was fine but the food was awesome! The breakfast sandwich was simple but so flavorful! The chicken and waffles was interesting, with the chicken more like katsu than traditional fried chicken. They have a corn waffle with jalapeno that was really tasty too. Unique options with solid quality, I'll definitely come back for breakfast again.

Nice breakfast spot. Little bit of a yuppie-vibe, but overall nice ambience. The digital menu is a bit awkward and takes a second to figure out. Not inexpensive, but quality is roughly in line with cost. Good coffee. Wish they did an English breakfast type offering.

We walked here from our AirBNB. No tables available but we sat at a bar. Excellent service. I had a delicious Eggs shakshura (pictured) and my husband had waffles and chicken w tasty cornmeal waffles and fried filleted chicken breast. We plan to return tomorrow.

Kaldis social house has delicious food, excellent coffee, and a lively yet calm atmosphere that make it a fantastic brunch option! No wonder it's so tough to find a table! I've been here twice now and plan on returning to try their burger because it looked so good. Their Turkish breakfast bowl and Chicken and Waffles were incredible and the waiters were down to earth and easy to talk to. If you're considering Kaldis for brunch, stop thinking, and just go ! You won't regret it.

I was looking for brunch spots one morning and this place had a lot of good ratings so I went to check it out. Man was I impressed. The chicken and waffles were SOOO good. The meat was thinly cut and was full of flavor. The waffles had fresh fruit on top and they were also thin but do fluffy. They had a great tea and coffee selection which is always clutch. I've been going quite a few times now and this is definitely my go to brunch spot in silver spring now.

Walked in 20 minutes before closing with my girl to enjoy a cup of coffee and a piece of pound cake. They served us and gave us 2 pieces of pound cake and two cups of coffee to enjoy without rushing us to leave we leisurely sip and ate the coffee and cake while listening to smooth music and enjoying the laid back atmosphere. Kaldis Social House always has a welcoming environment. We love it there.

I went to Kaldi's Social House for the first time today after a friend told me how good it was. I ordered the veggie breakfast sandwich, and I can't even describe how good it was. No exaggerating ....it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in years. Also ordered a mocha, and that was delicious as well. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other menu items!

I frequent Kaldi’s often for breakfast. But I came in for lunch for the first time. I ordered their grass-fed burger with the fixings. And it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life. Literally in my top 3. It was cooked perfectly, soft bun, fresh ingredients. 5/5 for sure!

Superior! It was a pretty elusive location but it’s very cool inside it looks like it used to be a warehouse 👀

Food and atmosphere were awesome; they forgot to make my friends smoothie in the kitchen so we were blessed with a complementary meal 😊 great customer service!

I was visiting the area and stopped in here on a recommendation. The food was great, the atmosphere was wonderful. The value for the food was good too. I appreciated the coffee selection and seasonal options. The marble cake was phenomenal.

We ordered breakfasts consisting of shakshouka (marvelous), a side salad with a wonderful vinaigrette dressing, fluffy lemon ricotta hotcakes w/giant blueberries & syrup, along w/coffee drinks. Everything was excellent! We ordered delivery, and this was a smooth process; the driver had a quick response time, and everything was still nice and hot (cold for the coffees). The chai and cold brewed coffee were great! This will be our go-to place in the future!

This is such a nice spot. Stopped by as a location for a meeting. Stayed for the ambiance and food . It's has two floors with ample seating. Food is well priced and the portions are even better. They have free WiFi and don't rush you to leave once you are done eating. Next visit to silver spring I will be back .

This is an awesome coffee bar with amazing barista! The coffee is so well crafted, and the tiramisu cake surprises me as well with its perfect alcohol tastes in it. Wonderful vibe, spacious seats and friendly staff. Will definitely come back again and try more its food!

I've been to Kaldi's to dine in and take out several times and have not been disappointed! I live in the Brightwood area of NW DC, about 5 minutes from downtown Silver Spring so I would come often. Pre-pandemic, I would order a coffee and sometimes food and do some work for a few hours. It has a lot of comfortable seating but the addition of outlets (maybe in the ground) would be helpful. I've also come a few times for a quick coffee or to pick up a BEC. The service is usually prompt and the coffee is a delight. The BEC has the best pork bacon and is honestly my favorite BEC sandwich ever. I've never come to Kaldi's in the evening for the parties but if/when it does re-open for that I would definitely like to check it out. A great Black-owned spot to support in the DMV. The pics are the BEC, avocado toast and the omelette with tons of meat in it (can't remember the name of it).

Update, 11/25/2022: Kaldi's rarely does me wrong. I stopped in for an early lunch while my car was getting serviced at dc line auto, just down the street. Great service and food per usual. Great place to get some work done or hang out and read. Delicious sandwich and salad.

First time here over the weekend. Went here after I missed hotel breakfast. Decent menu you can customize as well, you can also order & pay on your phone which was nice. I got coffee cake & a mocha. Mocha was okay and the coffee cake was delicious.

Great coffee and great food! I had the Cortado with Oat Milk and the Bravo Avocado toast. Both were great and presentation was top knot but! My crew and I will most certainly come back and try other menu items!

My FAVORITE place in Downtown Silver Spring! The sandwiches are fresh, organic and exquisite! The coffee…OMG! I would done here everyday if I could! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place!

Staff is usually very nice or friendly. There's a surprising variety of options to choose from that you wouldn't expect, lot of coffee and tea, and I like that the desserts and pastries aren't typical - Starbucks won't have it.

The hours are confusing on here, so to make sure you're not standing outside a closed Cafe like me, plan to go between 7:30am - 2pm only. The other hours don't seem accurate.

My last experience was delivery- first time. Look at the food. You know it hit. 🤤 sturdier boxes would calm my heart, but it didn't stop me from eating 😋

Kaldi's is a quant spot great for individuals to meet up for breakfast or lunch or get away from the monotony of working from home. The staff there are pleasant and food is wonderful.
