Cesco Osteria & Co2 Lounge

We had our wedding at Cesco in June 2021 and could not have been happier. It exceeded all expectations. Elaine was a joy to work with and anticipated all our needs. She worked seamlessly with our florist. Food and service was fabulous!! It was a perfect day!!

I ordered the lamb with veggies and lentils. The meat was perfectly cooked and the food came out in a timely fashion. I also ordered two drinks. The first was the cescopolitan which was a bit of a heavy pour and tasted more of vodka than I would have liked. Then the second drink I ordered was a margarita which was much better! It might depend on the bartender or just the drink, but the food was great!

Cesco is back in full swing. A big thanks to Raffi and Flaco for welcoming me back after such a long time with delicious food and a perfect gibson. And Trio Caliente is back playing every Friday! Come get your dancing shoes on!

Great Florence Italian food, unfortunately closed at the end of Feb. 2022 because of the chef's retirement.

The food was as amazing as the service. I ordered the mushroom pasta made with homemade Alfredo sauce, mix seafood pasta and the beet salad. All just wonderful!

The night I went they had a trio of flamenco guitarrists, and they were awesome. The tall guitarrist had an amazing voice...

This is an excellent Italian restaurant in Bethesda. The pizzas are good, but the pastas are amazing.

They make most of their own pastas. And they have this amazing imported pasta from Italy.

The desserts are really amazing. Tiramisu in particular is amazing.

Divine food, and an extraordinary waiter, Rafael, who is great with the menu, knows a bunch of languages, and somehow makes everyone feel like they've known him for decades. This is an upscale but incredibly welcoming place with awesome food. Try the fish grilled with salt and filleted at the table. So good!!

This restaurant is great! The food is high quality and delicious. The only thing I have to say is that, the menu online is different than the one in person. So have backup dishes in case they don’t actually serve the dish you were planning on getting.

Food was really good. The gnocchi... was delicious. Steak was cooked perfect. Good selection of wine. Oh and music and dancing after wards if you stay late.

Our party of five tried Cesco Osteria for the first time on August 23, 2019 for a birthday celebration. We had the most wonderful experience. Sometimes it's difficult to find food that everyone enjoys, but not here! There were so many options (including a number of options for vegetarians) and every member of my family cleaned their plates. The vegetable lasagna amuse bouche was a pleasant surprise, as was the delicious tomato focaccia bread. We tried three appetizers: arancini, anchovies (chef's special), and portabello mushroom in phyllo. Dinners included: house-made butternut squash raviolini in mascarpone cream sauce, scallops with risotto (chef's special), crab-stuffed trout (chef's special), house-made ravioli with chicken (chef's special), and the veal porterhouse chop. If we had any room left, we would have ordered desserts as well. Service was great, the only thing I would have liked was for the waiter to ask us once if we needed anything once we got the meal. The only time we saw him before plates were cleared was to see if we wanted more wine (did I mention the nice wine list?). We will definitely come back here because the food was so outstanding. Please let the chefs and staff know how happy we were and our occasion was more special due to this experience.

Love this place, but then again how could you not when Julia Child used to call him one of her favorite chefs??!?! Brunch is fantastic. Pizza is delicious and the pastas are all homemade and exceptional. But the prize of it's on the menu is the porchetta! To be fair it's all really tasty food and an extensive wine list makes this a date night home run!

I went for happy hour with 2 girl friends and it was SUPER tasty! Our favorite was the Warm Caprese! It was tomato, mozzarella and prosciutto melted on a crunchy garlic bread! The pizza Margherita was also so good, we each bought one to go! The prices were very reasonable as well! Overall great time and I can't wait to go back again!

Excellent food and a great ambience! Loved the outdoor seating with the fairy lights. The Vegetarian Lasagna and the Squid Ink Tagliolini were my most favorite dishes.

Did a to-go order on Tuesday. I got the grilled fillet mignon tower. Was a little worried how it would travel the 30 minutes back to Bethesda. It traveled great. Delicious dish. The sauce was amazing. Steak was cooked perfectly. Crispy potatoes. Yum. (Only ate half, but reheated it for lunch today and it held up to reheating, too!) My picky pasta loving daughter got the Rigatone with Bolognese sauce and loved it. And the Bongo Bongo Profiteroles were also amazing. Can't wait to go back.

Definitely one of the nicest restaurants in Bethesda (new location just opened). The menu offers a variety of price points for everyone to choose from (from $15 pastas to $30+ seafood entrees). Excellent food all the way around. The braised short ribs entree is excellent. Service was stupendous. Detailed, patient, and courteous. The new location is quite nice looking. I'm definitely going back with a small group.

Good Italian-style food. Reasonably priced pizza and pasta, as well as more sophisticated (and higher priced) dishes including filet mignon, seared tuna, sea bass, and other fish dishes. Decent beer selection.

Food was excellent and the wait staff was very attentive. Ordered off the regular menu despite the option for a four course pris fixe offering for New Year's Eve (too much food). Would definitely return!

Excellent visit to this great restaurant. We started off with a great Tuscan bread salad and had an outstanding boar pasta. My wife had a grilled salmon dish which was accompanied with a spinach side. Out of this world. Service was attentive and spot on!. The maitre 'd suggested a nice inexpensive Italian white wine. We went to the bar afterwards to listen to fantastic live music.

I only do the salsa nights periodically on Fridays and it's always great. Last night for salsa is tonight as the restaurant will be closing. ... my understanding
