SpringHill Suites by Marriott Gaithersburg

Really nice place. The location was great, just off the highway. The rooms were very adequate for our needs, it was just a little wierd that the sink was seperate from the toilet and shower and did not have a door on it, so if you are staying with other people and tend to just wash yourself at the sink, it could get a little awkward.
The staff was wonderful, they took all the time in the world for us, making sure to get a room that was suitable for me and my 92 year old grandmother. The room was handicap equipped and located on the quiter side of the building.

One of the best things about SpringHill Suites Gaithersburg is the location. It is within walking distance to the RIO boardwalk, restaurants and shops, and just a short drive from the medical center. It is just off the highway in a mostly residential area and quiet. They offer a complimentary breakfast with hot and cold selections, breads, and beverages. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Loved this hotel. Was a large room with a sofa that you could even sleep on and a small kitchenette. Very clean and neat room. Breakfast was included.

Husband and I just enjoyed an impromptu weekend in the DC area in order to visit the Haulocaust and Natural History museums.

SpringHill Suites was very pleasant. It's located in a nice neighborhood with plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. The hotel is clean, the staff are pleasant and the beds/pillows are comfy.

The only con: breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. The coffee tastes strong and old (multiple occasions) and the scrambled eggs were crunchy.

We would recommend SpringHill Suites and Gaithersburg.

Excellent stay after a hectic day. Eases off all fatigue just seeing the room and facilities. Breakfast has variety and were all delicious.

We stayed there for my son’s soccer games down in Maryland for the weekend. The stay was great and everything was very clean. We had a nice experience but unfortunately my son left his soccer jersey down there in the room. We called almost a week later and ANGELICA the operations manager found it! She was so kind and responsive and FedEx it back to us. She even responded to my email when she was not at work. Lovely person and she should be commended because in a time where we experience a lack of customer service everywhere she was a Shining Star! Thank you again! A very grateful mom!

Room and hotel was clean, well maintained and quiet. Front desk friendly and efficient. Breakfast was exactly what you'd expect for a "free" hotel breakfast. Fine place to spend a night or two. Not sure the room would be comfortable enough or furnished right for a lengthy stay. I'd rebook if going to the area again.

Great place to stay. Be aware, its a favorite among high school field trips....

Stayed here for a night as my house was being treated. My wife and I loved it! Early check in with ease. The room was very spacious. WiFi had a smooth connection. The oatmeal was surprisingly the best I had in a while. And the staff is top-tier! The Rio boardwalk is a nice walking distance to and from. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IN GAITHERSBURG!A

Spent a couple nights here on business. The hotel was really really nice. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, and very over accommodating. The breakfast was....eh... nothing ro write home about, but was free with the stay.

Very friendly staff. Clean room. I love the smart TVs (2 at that in the suites), fridge, microwave, and their comfy beds! Always a great stay when I come here. Keep up the good work!! Only thing that I recommend is that they should also have the option of decaf coffee. I love coffee, but it has to be decaffeinated.

Everything was extremely clean and the suite was really nice. The bed was comfy. I hit the mattress and passed out until my alarm. We were traveling through the night, and despite it being 3am, the front desk attendant was in good spirits and had great hospitality. If we ever need a hotel in the area again, we will definitely be back.

Nice place to spend a night. The room was clean and in good condition. The staff is very friendly and helpful. SpringHill Suites offering a free breakfast buffet in the morning. The buffet usually has hot eggs and sausage along with the cold breakfast items (cereal, yogurt, bagels, and juices).

A very nice hotel. The rooms were very comfortable with seating for reading or whatever.

Checked in late night but it was nice to come to a hotel that felt like home, good location, was able to take an early morning walk,. Breakfast was quick and plentiful. Staff friendly, amenities were good too. Kitchenette facility was helpful for late night snack and coffee, all in all had a restful stay.

Another factor was the silence, you could never be disturbed by any sound externally.

Location was great, a little hard to get into but overall it was good. The rooms were so nice, they had two beds which were comfortable, and their rooms were always cleaned. Lets not forget about the breakfast, those waffles were the only reason why i got up in the morning! Wish they had more food and fruit options though but it was okay.

I had the pleasire of staying at the hotel last night. The location is prime, lots of restaurants and stores within a couple blocks. Nice upscale neighborhood, well manicured. The front desk lady, wish I got her name, was lovely and personable. I called down for a bottle opener and apparently, the hotel only has one, and she said someone had it. I was thinking great, now I can't open the beer I bought for the night. Two minutes later, she called me back and said at was returned, wow, she was definitely tuned in to customer service. But, the most impressive feature of this hotel was how IMMACULATE it was! By far, the cleanliest hotel and hotel room I have EVER stayed in, I was blown away. I hate staying in hotels, especially these days, but I felt 100% confident resting my head there!
