Courtyard by Marriott Gaithersburg Washingtonian Center

Do not pay extra for the deluxe king unless you are either hearing impaired or need the sound of a subway all night. The bed is against the wall with the elevator and it is loud. Otherwise the hotel is amazing, staff, views, rooms, location, amazing.

I've stayed here many times for work, and each time it's been nice. The gym is a bit small, but it has what you need

Nice hotel in a really cool area. There are several places to eat and shop in the immediate area. So many places in short walking distance. There's a free parking garage that even had spots for my hightop van.

The room I had for 8 nights didn't have a fridge or a microwave. I was surprised and disappointed. A duper location in the Rio district either tons of restaurants, shopping and a beautiful boardwalk and walking paths.

You literally cannot beat this location! Walking distance to everything you need. Staff was very polite and helpful will be making this same trip again for sure!.

The rooms are fabulous. They accommodated us very well. Provided our company with breakfasts and lunches that were delicious.

It's within walking distance of many bars and eateries. And it's right in the Boardwalk.

The hotel is all situated across a lake. My room was directly across the lake with a beautiful view. Shops and restaurants are within the vicinity. So many to choose from. I really enjoyed my morning walks around the river.

Loved it!!! The service was great - usual for a Marriott! The facility was clean. The rooms were great, facing a beautiful and serene lake. Free parking facility across the street. The location was fantastic - in the heart of a mini city, everything within walking distance!!

For a mid level hotel this one is excellent. Great location and clean, comfortable rooms. Stay here every time I need to be in the area overnight.

The Courtyard is in the heart of Gaithersburg and is local to a lot of amenities. There is free parking at the hotel across the street which is very convenient. You can walk to most places to visit.

The hotel itself is great. The staff at the front were excellent. Our room was well kept and anything we needed was provided. There was no issues at all. The cleaning staff did a great job and we didn’t notice any unpleasantness.

There is no pool at the hotel. There is no complementary breakfast either like other Marriott’s. We were fine with this but wished there was a pool. The hotel lobby is small but again fine. Bringing your stuff in and out of your room is easy. We were on the highest floor (9) which had a nice view.

I’d recommend coming to this hotel for sure in the future.

I dont know where to begin. First the location is beautiful. Right on the boardwalk and they have free parking. Thats always a must for me as a marriott platinum member. The staff is so attentive. Every one i came across at the front desk was so nice. I forget the young lady name who was there in the morning but she was very helpful from the marriott chat to when I arrived. She made sure i had all of the accommodations i asked for. The young gentleman in the afternoon was also very nice and helpful. I called down and asked for plates while the kitchen was closed. I told him it okay and not to worry about it and he made it happen anyway. Thats care and attention. He also was knowledgeable on the length of the boardwalk. The rooms are standard and clean. I could tell my carpet was shampooed which is a plus. So the hotel is being maintained for sure. I honestly don’t have one bad thing to say. I enjoyed my stay so much I’ve already booked another weekend and told all my family and friends to stay there. Thank you so much for an amazing stay and guest experience!

I've been to this Marriott several times now, and I like it prety well. No free breakfast, which is sad, but the rooms have all been clean and in pretty good shape. I like it when I get a lakeside room, but you get an interesting view of the shopping area on the other side. Their "Pure" rooms are really nice - if you're willing to swing for it, I think they're pretty worthwhile. The location is also very convenient to highways, shopping, and some of the hot biotech areas.

The little bistro downstairs is fine, but you have to navigate through hoardes of children and pre-teens a lot at this hotel. I don't know why there are so many children here, all the time. Sports events, I suppose. The wandering herds of children can also be loud in the hallways when less supervised.

I liked the shampoo and soap they used to have better than what they have now. I feel like I have to usea mountain of this new body wash to feel clean, possibly because it doesn't foam well. If you've been to any Marriott with the 39 North soaps, you've experienced the stuff and know if you like it.

Came for soccer tournament. Place is well centered in shopping district. Rooms are clean and large. We had a great view from the 9th floor (fireworks). Hotel staff made our stay very comfortable. Management switched our rooms immediately when we called to report heating issues with our room. Although parking was close by finding a spot was challenging. Plan to return during the summer months to enjoy the pool, boardwalk and the food in the area.

Great location. Walking distance from a mall, dave and busters, amc movie, and more! The beds were comfy. The rooms had space. Would stay here again.

Booked the hotel for my cousin for his wedding and it was fab. The service was exceptional. Grew up in the area but never realized there was a hotel in this location. Would def recommend!

I have been there just once. I hope that I can make it again. It is absolutely unforgettable experience. Very nice and friendly staff. The hotel itself was very clean and nice. The room was spacious, and clean and well designed. The bed was so comfy. The location is convenient because of being so close to restaurants and shopping center. The only problem was with parking because you need to park your car in the structure garage across the street although it is free. Definitely you are gonna enjoy your staying there.

Amazing location with spectacular views! Plenty to do from walking the area, shopping, dining or more. There’s plenty of free parking in the garage across the street and it’s close to everything. Our room was nice and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating

Great location! Right on boardwalk with so much within close walking conditions. Room was facing the water which was a nice view. Highly recommend if you are looming for a hotel with my amenities near by.

There are plenty of hints to do and places to eat nearby. The view was excellent, but the rooms are small and the television kept freezing
