Residence Inn by Marriott Gaithersburg Washingtonian Center

Brittaney was extremely kind and helpful, really helped us a lot during an unexpected 2 month stay. The hotel was perfect for us and their staff really made it work for us. Very grateful for Brittaney and can’t thank her enough

We are traveling with our friends to Virginia Beach and stopped at this Residence Inn. We have to give a shout out to Irene at the front desk. We had a little problem during our stay and she took care of it within 5 minutes. She is a doll and very friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

This is my third time staying here, visiting my dad. He basically lives at this hotel for work. They always remember my sister and I when we come for a visit. The manager is an absolutely lovely man and is always kind. The rooms have always been spotless and well taken care of. Decor is simple but stylish. Pool area is a favorite, the grill and seating area is a nice touch. Complimentary breakfast is always delicious and has good variety. Coffee is good and they always have a carafe of cold coffee for us iced coffee people.

My company uses this hotel often and our technicians always has good things to say about their entire experience from check in to check out. The staff is awesome, clean rooms and pretty good breakfast. Also we have a contact with the hotel and she is amazing, always welling to help with our reservation and our many changes with out any hesitation.

We had a nice stay. It was clean and spacious and we enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners. The floors were a bit thin and we could hear people walking around above us, so I had to put the sound machine on full blast to sleep. We loved walking down to the RIO shops and boardwalk. The pool is only open on the weekends or we would have tried that.

This hotel is excellent because the staff is excellent and engaging. It is just like every other Marriott property otherwise. But so far I have been tremendously impressed with the kindness and little extras the staff has taken to make this stay enjoyable.
For instance I came into my room after my workday to find a lovely note regarding choosing positivity in life and a few snacks to go along with this note. Then this evening we played some bingo during the evening food selections and won some fun prizes (everyone won who played fyi).
I have just been impressed with their friendly hospitality, so absolutely I would recommend this location.

So over the 4th of July weekend I wrote a review about how a Marriott hotel was failing to uphold the standards that their CEO stated to make sure their guests felt safe. But, now I want to tell you that this hotel knows how to ensure their guests feel not only welcomed but safe during these times. Yes breakfast has been scaled back. Housekeeping has also been scaled back, but they let you know this ahead of time and try to accommodate everyone to the best of their ability. Thank you to the hotel for taking my safety and well-being very seriously.

This hotel is simply amazing. The rooms are unbelievably comfortable, everything is so clean, the staff is super friendly, and the pillow spray is like magic. The location is easy to get to. There's not enough good I can say about this place!

I travel to the area average of once a week and find that the Residence Inn is very convenient hotel! Friendly staff! Very clean!
They respond quickly for any issues!
Plus you can build up points for free nights!
It's in decent walking to the Rio which has shopping, restaurant's, and movies! Nice for families to enjoy!

Great place to stay in between homes! My family and I lived at this hotel for 8 weeks waiting for our new house and we loved it! The staff are so friendly and helpful and the place is very clean. We loved the hot breakfast each morning and the evening dinners. It was a great home away from home while we waited!

I went to the hotel to speak to a group of youth. The conference room that was provided was clean and well furnished for the task. No podium was provided. In spite of this, the conference room was private enough to allow good group participation. The front desk was immediately outside of the conference room. Coffee is not provided by the hotel, however, they have an assortment of snacks and energy drinks available for purchase.

Overall it was a nice clean hotel that appeared to be either new or recently renovated.

The check-in was smooth, with little delays with the early check-in due to a fully booked room. The general manager and front desk staff were super friendly and helpful full. Maintenance and ground staff all friendly, rooms well maintained and cleaned. Location is perfect with a short work to a mall nearby, breakfast and evening snacks we're well done

We had a nice stay at the Residence Inn at Gaithersburg. I especially want to recognize the front desk assistant manager Freddie who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. He was friendly, courteous, and great with the kids. A big thanks.

Beautiful location and a great clean room. The breakfast buffet was in the main building and was very nicely organized. This is a long term location but many sites offer overnight stays. This was an amazing room for the price and a great stay. I would stay here again, anytime.

Beautiful studio room, however I never once had someone come to the room for towels and what not. But the front desk person was super friendly, overall great trip.

During my visit Elizabeth was extremely kind and very good to me. She was very helpful and when a certain food was not available she would come get me when they brought more out. She made it a good time eating there and was very heart warming.

We had a great experience here. The room was nice, clean, great layout that made it feel very spacious.
The hotel is in walking distance of lots of great shops and restaurants. Also just down the street from a movie theater.

Stayed here for a few months due to a fire at my apartment. 5-stars for the breakfast options and the mix (dinner every monday - wednesday). The Mix dinners were always different and provided both meat and vegetarian options. The dining staff - Maria, Reina, and Elizabeth were exceptional. They were all so kind and would always stop to ask how everything was going.

Rooms are well maintained, breakfast was on point and staff was super helpful. Wife and I had our dog with us, she was getting our breakfast to take back to the room and the staff invited us to use a conference room. That is supercool.

Awesome place to stay for many days. I know people started here for years. Gives feeling of home. Friendly staff , wonderful things to do nearby, lot of Activities at hotel. I highly recommend this place.
