Best cappuccino I've had in the area, maybe even outside of Italy! Also delicious cronuts and very pleasant, knowledgeable, and responsive barista on 2/11/24.

Great space, especially since it's new. Lots for kids to do but it's a little smaller than Wheaton Regional library. Parking can be a little difficult

The parking garage across the street is terrible. 👎 It says on the website Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and nothing about the weekends,but yet the person walking around told me I had to pay for parking on the weekend

Good environment to get work done, many learning resources, and the staff is so helpful!

Great library and very helpful librarians. Selection of books can be hit or miss, if you’re looking for a super popular book odds are you probably won’t find it but they might surprise you. I love that they have audiobooks you can rent out as well! So helpful!

Beautiful and spacious, this is a good library. Plenty of computers, and areas to use your own device. Adult, teen, and kid spaces. Coffee spot in lobby that plays records🙂👍🏾
Only downside is parking- on street (paid) or nearby garage. I recommend. Info about community and resources. On the bus/ SS shuttle line.

Awesome Library for all age group. Just takes 5 min to open a library card. You can choose from a wide variety of books. Absolutely free to access. A paradise for book lovers.

Lovely place to work or study. Would bring headphones for music since it can get a bit noisy

Walked into the library by happenstance as I was roaming around the downtown area. Very happy to see that it was very clean and well-organized library. The staff are helpful and quite knowledgeable. Ended up getting a new library card and borrowing some movies and books!

Love this new library! It's a great location in its proximity to other stores. The giant windows and comfy chairs provide an excellent atmosphere for reading or working. There are a lot of computers available, as well as small conference rooms for uninterrupted group work. The staff is pretty helpful and friendly. And there's a cafe on the first floor! Overall, a great place to read, work, or browse for a great new read.

Libraries are an underrated resource that I wish people within the communities would utilize more often. All the books and movies I had the opportunity to check out (for both grad school research papers and entertainment during quarantine) has saved me so much money in these past years. I frequent this particular library often and the facility and its staff has been wonderful.

While I was returning my books, I happened to stumble upon the ceremony where the Montgomery County Executive signed the bill to officially change the name of the library (February 28, 2022). The ceremony was to honor and have the library be renamed after Tuskegee Airmen pilot Charles E. McGee.

A peaceful place to sit and do your reading and work . You get charging ports and Wifi. Good place. Visit it.

Excellent public library and good for all ages. They have a separate floor dedicated to the childrens; lots of books small play area, activities/program for kids. Interior is awesome and lots of seating available on all floors. Multiple small conference rooms are also available to do group study or meeting. Highly recommend everyone.

Great library, has plenty of study rooms and computer labs. Has great selections of different book genres and recommendations on book shelves if you have trouble choosing. And you can get a new library card for $5 and the other account locks down so no one messes with the old account.

I'd recommend this Library, for sure. It's Beautiful. It's clean. There's literally something for everyone (children, teens & adults alike). The staff here are very helpful. Everyone is given a sufficient amount of time to use the computers. I think it's a really resourceful place & I'm glad they're here.

This new library is awesome. Tons of places to sit and to do work or read a book. You can reserve one of the many collaboration rooms if you need some privacy or space to talk. But it's always packed making it hard to find an open seat. I definitely want to check out the 3D printer they claim to have in the building.

Lots of helpful staff, beautiful well-lit building is great for reading, and after checking out a book you can head down to Kefa Cafe in the bottom floor to enjoy good coffee while you read. Feels lively, but I haven't found it too noisy.

The Silver Spring and Montgomery County Library systems are fantastic. I get all my movies from here with (usually) minimal wait time. There's some really nice community events hosted by the library. Since there is a lot of open space in the library it's sometimes difficult to find a good spot to get work done if you do not have noise cancelling headphones. The catalogue is shared with all the MC libraries so it usually doesn't take too long to get something on hold.

Very good place to focus, read and or study. Can check out books movies if you want. It took less than 10 minutes to get my library card. You can also have online access. You want to study in group or have a Skype meeting or interview, book a study room for an hour or two.
