Residence Inn by Marriott Bethesda Downtown

I stayed here for an entire month with my two small children while we were waiting to close on our home. The staff are wonderful - welcoming and helpful. Barbara at the front desk was extremely helpful when we needed to extend our stay. The valets are also all great - Jemmy, Perry and Elijah all got my car multiple times and helped me unload and reload my car, which was a huge help with two small kids in tow. The location in the middle of Bethesda is also great - an easy walk to the redline metro and restaurants/ shops.

Excellent experience! Well-appointed rooms, friendly staff, great bag drop service. The suites are gorgeous, modern, and updated. Love the multi-port USB chargers in the living room. Highly recommend and will stay again!

We had a fantastic stay here! The room was clean and the beds were comfy. The location of the hotel is also extremely convenient and it’s a great area to walk around. The breakfast was a hit with the whole family - but the standout is the staff. Everyone at the hotel was welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

This is a great choice for any family that wants to visit the DC area on a budget. Even better yet, you get top-notch service and very friendly and helpful associates who go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay! The free breakfast is nothing short of awesome and the servers are so kind. The hotel is one block away from a DC Metro stop (Red line, Bethesda station), and is in the middle of a clean, safe area. There are ample restaurants and services as well. Thank you to all the employees at this hotel for an awesome stay!!

Amazing rooms with plenty of space had 2 desks and even a huge shower. The staff were beyond nice and helpful, and earned a very nice tip from cleaning person to valet person. Also had fully stocked kitchen.

•Location is in downtown Bethesda, which is 15 min away from Washington DC.
•The room is clean and big.
•The housekeepers are very courteous and accommodating.

This hotel provides amazing service. The amenities are exceptional with the en suite kitchen. We have been able to prepare meals.We always plan our visit with this Marriott in mind. We will continue to book with them in the future.The local area has lots to see and do . We like visiting the trader Joes and the local high end shops.

Stay here was almost a month. Rooms were very convenient with kitchen area and separate bedroom. Breakfast in the mornings was awesome to have and staff was always very friendly. Our pets were also welcomed guests. Location is fantastic for walking to many restaurants and shops in the area. Also not far from parks and neighborhoods.

I had no problem during my 2 days stay. Has valet parking but very effective

We stayed at this hotel from Sept 21 - 25 . We enjoyed our time at the Bethesda Residence Inn. It is a business city hotel that is fairly close to shopping areas also. The rooms were older rooms, but were clean; the front desk personnel were welcoming and very accommodating. We enjoyed their breakfast daily and the breakfast staff were all warm, always smiling and welcoming. Parking is by valet, I do not believe there is a parking garage, I didn't see one. Call the front desk and they will bring your car to the front door whenever you are ready.

Overall, my family and I had a lovely time at this hotel. I would recommend it.

The hotel is clean, convenient, quiet and has plenty of amenities. The staff is courteous and pleasant. The wifi is a bit slow - glad I wasn't there with work to do! Parking by valet is $30 per night, which is a lot. However, we could get the car as many times as we needed to.

My wife and I have stayed here twice per month for the last two years. The suites are very comfortable but the staff is absolutely the best. The location is perfect and this hotel offers the absolute best value! This property is our home 6 days per month and the staff are our family!

This hotel exceeded all our expectations. The location is within easy walking distance to so many restaurants and close driving to most shopping and sites. The breakfast was a slight step above most hotels free breakfast. The rooms were clean and spacious. They don't have the pool anymore, per the front desk this was closed during the Covid shutdown and they didn't open it back up.
We would stay again though. Everyone was friendly and it meets our needs.

The Residence Inn by Marriott is in a great location & the staff went above & beyond to be helpful. Breakfast was excellent & well organized. Accommodations were very comfortable. We will return!

I love this place. LOVE. You could maybe choose a newer place but that would be a loss. So comfortable, quiet, clean, and also caring staff. I appreciate the details of the spacious rooms, and miss them when we stay elsewhere. Great location. Caring, efficient, welcoming staff. I can’t say enough nice things about this hotel. I wish this was the only hotel I ever had to stay in. Breakfast area and spread is peerless, excellent and kind staff there as well. The rooftop pool (when open) is a delight, so are the views up there, open seasonally.

I had to go to hotel because of some unexpected work in my apartment. I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel room was like a small little apartment. It felt like i was home. Very comfortable. I wish I could have stayed longer. I also had the best view from my room to see the setting sun which one of my hotel preferences.

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast spread was nice... eggs, potatoes sausage and pastries. Sad to have to use valet parking but there really is no other option available. It would have been nice if it were included in the cost of the room with an option to tip the attendant. All in all it was a great stay.

It was a nice stay, highly recommend. We stood here 2 and a half weeks, everyone was very accommodating! Very friendly and happy to help with anything we might have needed. When I say everyone, I literally mean everyone, from front desk to valet guys, they were all just really great! We will be staying here again when in Maryland.
About the rooms: they were great! Bed was soft and comfy, pillows nice and fluffy! The kitchen very very useful! Fully loaded with everything you'll need coffeemaker, toaster, 2 burners, microwave. Even a dishwasher. Pots & pans the whole 9 yards. Oh and the shower comes with shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers so no need to purchase any unless you're very particular with your preference.
The only downside(which I hate to mention bc we absolutely loved our stay here!) Was that the wine glass wasn't clean properly.. There was lipstick print on one.. also, I really hope the cleaning crew are thoroughly changing the sheets as often as possible bc the morning after the first night I noticed 4 bites on my legs 2 on my thighs and 2 on my ankles. Like I said, I hate to mention this bc everyone was just so fantastic but I have to be honest about everything so it can be addressed. I still highly recommend (I didn't get anymore bites the rest of our long stay so that's a plus) HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Staff is really great. They're professional, friendly, and attentive. I'm here for 3 weeks. Breakfast area is very clean, descent choice of foods, plenty of sitting space. Nice room with separate bedroom. Location is on Wisconsin not quite .25 mile from Bethesda center. Metro almost across the street. Very happy with stay.

Hello consumers! Yes, this is a place you want to be in. First, the valet are polite, helpful, and well dressed. Second, the staff at the desk are amazing. They didn't have the that we asked for but they quickly arranged another room for us. Great job 👍 Third, the room eligent, clean as you can take a white glove and get no dirt on it. It was a suite with king size bed well made up. Kitchen sparkling! Bathroom sparkling as well ☺ My husband and I was very happy campers! Also, you are surrounded by restaurants, store and they are pet friendly! Great job team and thank you for making our stay as comfortable as home 🏠🙏💯👍
