Cambria Hotel Rockville

Great experience! Room was roomy, clean and very comfortable. Staff are WONDERFUL!! So willing to help however needed. Pool was in great shape and saw the water tested to make sure chemicals were in balance. Area has so many shops and great restaurants right outside the door, didn't have to drive to get meals.

As a sleep medicine NP who is a light sleeper, I am always searching for the most "soundproof" hotel room and I sure found it here. It is in a quiet neighborhood in the middle of a walkable area with many yummy restaurants, and a very short walk to the metro. I did not hear a peep from the other guests all night. I was on the 8th floor so didnt hear much traffic either. The bed was comfy (without fragrances), room was huge with a sofa and desk, and the bathroom was clean. The front desk worker was friendly and I really appreciated his warmth. Wonderful stay. The only con was that the heater (in 817) made a clicking noise to start so I turned it off.

We stayed here between Tuesday 2/20/2024, and Thursday 2/2/2024 for our trip to DC. Rooms were really big we got a 2 queen bed room and me and my family felt like we had so much space. Service was great because the hotel personally texted us every morning if everything was good. Never had that it in a hotel. Location was great 2 blocks (3 minute walk)to the DC Metrorail. Only con about location being that the train is pretty long to get to the National Mall or the Smithsonian museums (30-40 minutes). But with the metro system beware you are required to buy a separate ticket per person or else it will only let one person through and you'll be stuck on the other side.

Room was fragrance free! I almost never start in a hotel that *doesn't* bother me with fragrances. The bathroom probably needs some updating but overall everything was clean and we heard no noise from our room. Very satisfied.

We had a great one night stay at this property. Lobby was clean, room was clean. All the front desk agents were very helpful. Metro station is about a five minute walk away and that made the ride into D.C easy. Would definitely stay here again. One thing of note is that the attached parking garage has an overnight rate of 20.00, but that ends at 6:00AM. So from 6:00AM to whenever you check out you are accruing extra charges. So it is best to validate your parking with the hotel so that you don't end up paying more. Ended up costing me an extra $4.00. Also there doesn't seem to be a lot of restaurants in Rockville that are in walking distance so you may want to eat while your out.

Fantastic location! The rooms are lovely, and accessibility is a breeze. The metro is conveniently close, just a short walk through a covered bridge, mere blocks away. Highly recommend!

Staying at Cambria Hotel in Rockville was very relaxing. I was traveling alone for the first evening and because the Hotel staff was so accommodating and 'present' I felt very safe and comfortable.
The rooms, hallways and common areas were impeccable and no matter what time you come and go you find the front desk staff always sharp and friendly.
I will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is nice and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and clean. The pool is nice.

The location is great. It is a quick walk over the bridge to the Rockville Metro station. There are lots of amenities in the Rockville Square area (food, library, small shops, regular local events etc.). There is plenty of parking in the garage (for a daily parking fee). Housekeeping staff was very nice. The front desk was professional and handled everything smoothly - I did not find them particularly warm but everything was handled well and concerns addressed immediately and fully.

My only complaint was that half the closet was used for a small dresser - so there is little storage space if you are staying more than a day or so with more than one person in the room.

It was the perfect retreat for a Mom and Daughter getaway in the city. The double Queen bed suite was spacious, clean and convenient. We were right across the street from Starbucks, steps from plenty of restaurants and a movie theater.

We were able to fill our days with plenty of close by activities.

Also, when my Mom had trouble finding the hotel, the staff were so helpful in helping her navigate to the building.

I was relieved since I was still en route from out of state to know my Mom was safely directed to the hotel.

Great holet stay. Staff was so pleasant and helpful. I got several text messages to see if I needed anything to make our stay better. How thoughtful!! Beds were comfortable, rooms were large and nicely decorated. The area around it had many things to do within walking distance. Would love to stay here again.

The hotel is located in a very nice area that looks freshly renovated. Close to public transport, a cinema, coffee shops, and restaurants.

There is a parking garage directly next to the hotel, and you can either purchase a parking pass from the hotel or pay the regular price at the garage.

Rooms are clean and spacious.

We stopped here on our travels to Florida, just for an overnight stay. Charles, at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. Our room was the size of a small apartment and very clean. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. Parking was an extra $20, but if you book through Choice Hotels, it is only $10 extra, which is reasonable. We would definitely stay here again and we will highly recommend this hotel to friends and family. Cambria is one of our favorite hotel brands.

We had a great time staying at this hotel. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Charles was the best, he was attentive and polite.
The hotel was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the location was perfect. Everything you need is within walking distance.
It's close enough to DC where we could go to all our engagements and far enough that you didn't feel the chaos of the city.
The hotel's pool and hot tub were really nice, very clean. There are some construction projects going on but they did a good job not making it feel like an inconvenience.
I will for sure stay there again!

We stayed in this hotel longer than expected as we were waiting for our home to be ready. Few hotels are like this: very chill, great decour, clean, wonderful guest services, and close to Rockville Square (SO much fun!!), Metro, and so much more!
Highly recommend for families with children and PETS too!!

Good hotel near a lot of things in downtown Rockville. Clean, comfortable modern, functional, quiet and spacious rooms. Had all the amenities I needed for one nights stay, but I would be happy to stay longer next time. A quick walk plenty of restaurants, movie theater, bars, county government buildings. Public transportation by bus, subway (metro) or taxi is a coupe blocks away.

Room was very big with comfy couch and two comfortable queen sized beds. Staff was super friendly and helpful, parking fees were waived. Only sad thing was the pool was unavailable.

Really nice experience. Got a beautiful room for a good price. Room was clean and spacious. Staffs were very helpful and nice. The breakfast was really good. The location of hotel is also near downtown so there was lots of nearby attractions to visit. 5/5 from me.

This place is an unbelievably good deal. The rooms are HUGE (be sure to ask for a tower room). It's a bit of a drive from DC, but we plan on staying here any time we come back. This hotel offers an experience you typically don't get unless you're spending an additional $100-200 per night. Be sure to walk to the town square in Rockville where you'll find families with kids playing in the water park when the weather is warm. Great hotel for families.

It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The common areas were clean and accessible. My room was also clean and spacious. Wireless access worked flawlessly. Not sure if they ever opened the restaurant/bar area, but there is a World of Beer restaurant/bar right next door, which was a plus. :-)

I would definitely book here again.
