Tim Whistler Plumbing performed my sewer line replacement from the house to property line. The final price came in below their estimate, I would have been none the wiser if they wanted to charge the original amount. Their trustworthiness will have me calling them next time I need any work done. They were also extremely helpful when it came to working with the city and providing video to them regarding the status of the line from the property to the main line and ensuring the city will repair their portion as well.

We had an emergency, water leaking from an upstairs bathroom. We called Whistler in the evening and they were here 7:30 the next morning to examine the leak. They were able to start work immediately! By the afternoon they were able to remove the old corroded piping and install new piping. They were great at communicating what they were doing and did a good cleanup on completion. We had called based on the good work they had done two occasions for our son

I called Tim Whistler Plumbing in mid-February to get an estimate for changing the main water service line and repiping of a 76-year old house with galvanized pipes that were buying.

Tim's estimate and pricing was very reasonable compared to the other two estimates we received.

From the day we gave the job to Tim to the day the the job was completed in early March 2017, we were kept informed on every step of the progress.

Tim, his wife Maria and his entire crew are professional, knowledgeable, detailed-oriented and friendly.

During the 2-1/2 day job, Tim kept us informed of the progress and when we made a few changes to the job scope, he evaluated the changes and provided the cost for the change order.

There were no surprises and we are very happy with the end result. Even when we had to call Tim for a leak in a hose bib that we discovered 4 weeks later, we received the same prompt and professional attention at no cost.

We highly recommend Tim Whistler Plumbing and will use them again.

I contacted Whistler Plumbing and worked through Frank to replace three toilets. I bought the toilets from a supplier. When Mike and Kevin came, two of the three broken. While Mike installed the good one, Kevin went out to get two new ones. I took the broken ones back and when I returned home, the job was complete. The moral of this story is leave it to Tim. They do outstanding work and save you money in the long run diagnosing and getting work done right from the get go.

After experiencing a backup in our basement bathroom, a plumber from another firm did a video sewer inspection at our house and stated our sewer line was sagging and would need to be replaced, with work costing between $16k-$30k. We decided to get a second opinion and called Tim Whistler. The plumber who visited us, Mike, did a second video inspection and determined the issue was a tree root intrusion on the line. He was able to clear the line and we discovered its condition was not nearly as dire as we had been told; it certainly did not need replacement. The total bill for clearing the roots was $1,525. Don't hesitate to call this business - they don't upsell and, more importantly, they are honest!

Needed to replace a 30 year old gas water heater. Searched for local companies with high satisfaction reviews and came across Tim Whistler Plumbing (TWP) among others. I am glad I did. First there was no charge for an in person estimate which is important in an older home to learn what needs to be done to meet current code and avoid on the job add-ons. Estimator (Chris) was very knowledgeable, pleasant and polite. Answered all my questions, offered advice about how best to proceed and described the work needed. No high pressure to make a decision on the spot and one follow up from the company to ascertain our intentions. After a few more live and over the phone quotes we decided to go with TMP and very glad we did. Crew (Chris and brother Remi) arrived on time and began the install. It was obvious they were very experienced but also polite and professional. They did great work, prep and clean up, including some custom ductwork changes needed to bring up to code. Passed inspection with no problem and the inspector mentioned he was impressed with the work the next day. I would highly recommend this company based on this experience.

We had to replace our old boiler in the house we just bought. Tim Whistler plumbing gave us an honest assessment of the boiler's condition - we could have had it serviced and maybe squeezed another year or two out of it, but we were going to have to replace it sooner or later (probably sooner). So we had it replaced. This was expensive and we got a couple of quotes, but decided to go with Tim Whistler (even though they weren't quite the cheapest) because I felt better about their attention to detail. The installation went fine - it was done in a day, and they cleaned everything up afterwards. They also scheduled the WSSC inspection for us. The inspector was impressed with their work and said everything was perfect. They came back later to check out a radiator problem. Overall a very positive experience.

I contacted Tim Whistler Plumbing and gasfitting last week to arrange for an evaluation of my hot water heater. Although it produced hot water, the water was not very hot even though I set the thermostat to near the highest setting and the water did not remain hot. After listening to my description of the problem, Tim gave me a choice. Replace the thermostat control unit or the entire heater. Since the heater was near the end of its expected life span, 14 years, I chose to replace the entire heater. The day after I spoke with Tim, two of his employees arrived at the scheduled time with the heater. One of the employees was a gas fitter and the other was a plumber. They were extremely skilled and professonal and replaced the heater in appoximately 1.5 hour. I would recommend Tim Whistler plumbing unequivocally to anyone who would need the services of a plumber or gas fitter.

The work that was performed by Tim’s tech, Remington, was to install a gas stove in place of the electric stove. Remington did a great job at explaining everything clearly, and even going above and beyond to ensure that the work would be done that day. The inspection occurred a week later and went perfectly. I will definitely be using Tim again for any work that needs to be done.

We have often asked people if they knew a good company that works with home boilers. The other day we happened across a Tim Whistler truck and asked them whether they do boilers. The gentleman told me that we needed his colleague Frank. Today we met Frank The Boiler Guy. He is a true pro, took time out to explain exactly what was happening and what needed to be done. We also were able to get on the calendar for today's appointment quickly and to schedule the one follow-up item for an upcoming date. Consider us hooked!

Fantastic service and information. I was considering installing an LP heat stove and was advised that a different site would be better and why. It was honest and informative about types of propane furnaces and what was required. Prompt, informative, easy-going, I highly recommend this company.

I cannot recommend them more highly! I reached out late one evening when our hot water heater stopped working. The very first thing the next morning (7am!) I received a call back. Next, we had a brief video visit and by late morning we had a someone at our house and by mid-afternoon we had a new water heater. Everyone we dealt with was wonderful: highly skilled, helpful and professional. Sincere thanks to all!

Our water heater went out on a Sunday. We called Tim Whistler Plumbing early Monday morning and they were able to schedule the installation of a new water heater on Tuesday. By Tuesday evening, we had hot water and could resume our normal lives. Mike Celis was the technician and did an excellent job. We've used this company previously and they will continue to be our first call when we need plumbing help. We recommend them highly.

Used Tim Whistler to replace our hot water heater. They were highly responsive for all steps of the process, from providing a quote to scheduling and showing up for the job. Mike was very professional and the installation looks as good as a water heater install can look. They also handled removal of the old water heater and the permitting process. Would happily use them again for any plumbing needs.

Although no one looks forward to a plumbing emergency, it's reassuring to rely on Tim Whistler plumbing. They're always courteous and make one feel like their top priority. I was fortunate enough to get a video consultation that yielded same-day replacement of a defunct water-heater that they replaced the very same day! That first warm shower felt amazing - thanks Tim Whistler plumbing!

Plumber was on time, efficient and took the time to explain what he was doing. Mike repaired a gas line and installed our new oven. Most importantly, he was very patient with my dog, who is a hot mess.
