SMP Pharmacy Mid-Atlantic

First time here and I found them very professional and friendly. They processed everything at a short notice and coordinated everything for me with my former pharmacy and doctor. Danielle was really great and so was the other pharmacist who called to follow up (Sophie?). Their name changed to smp mid Atlantic.

I have been coming to Ambulatory Care for about a year. I will never go back to a chain pharmacy again.
The staff here is amazing. They are kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Zack goes above and beyond to make sure my medications are covered with insurance. Katrina is wonderful! She is smiling every time I see her and always makes sure I am taken care of quickly and efficiently.
If you have not tried this pharmacy please do so! You will be a forever customer like myself!!

I switched from another pharmacy about 2 years ago because of the long wait and lines. I have been so over the top happy with this switch. I do not dread getting my prescriptions filled anymore. The best part of the pharmacy is that the employees know you by name and are always there to help. Katrina is always working the front of the pharmacy. She is so pleasant, as soon as you walk in she greets you. I’ve never had to wait. She answers questions and always has a smile on her face. She really goes above and beyond helping customers. When I call to fill my prescriptions she makes everything so easy. I look forward to seeing her when I come In because I know I’m in good hands. When I’ve had a question for the pharmacist she will get the answer for me very promptly and politely. When you have such a great person that handles calls and fills prescriptions and greets you every time with a smile it makes this simple task not dreadful like I’ve experienced at other places. She truly goes above and beyond ! She gets 10 stars from me. I hope if you are new to the pharmacy or changing pharmacies definitely make this one your 1st choice. Katrina will make your experience very pleasant and professional.

Just spoke with Brittney about my prescriptions. She provided EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE which is a rarity, especially at the end of work day. She answered the phone with courtesy and kindness. She was concise and patient when answering my questions and made sure I had all the information I needed. 10/10!

My prescription was filled and delivered within hours. I really can’t thank Danielle enough, she was informative, sweet and really took the stress of trying to fill and receive my medication and turned it into a positive experience. You can tell that she loves her job and that is a rare quality.

Ambulatory Care Pharmacy is the BEST pharmacy and the only pharmacy I use! Knowledgeable, professional, friendly and efficient.
I needed a pharmacy that could handle my Rx with no hassles, and long waits, it proved to be Ambulatory Care. I made the switch from Giant/ CVS and I haven't looked back. They are very thorough you're in and out!

My first time using the Pharmacy as all other pharmacies did not provide good customer service, or the in-depth explanation of medications and possible alternatives. The phone conversations have always been pleasant and when I finally went into the location, I never once felt judged due to my medications. I have to drive a little further than my original Pharmacy’s, but with the comfortable customer service that I’ve received thus far…, it’s well worth it.

Great pharmacy! The staff is wonderful and always willing to help. I never have an issue with any of my medications being filled, on time and there has never been an issue. I could not recommend this pharmacy enough to anyone looking for a pharmacy who treats you as a person not as just another number.

I am responsible for taking care of my mom. I have found Ambulatory Care provides me with the best customer service! I have never had a problem with getting her medication (which can be difficult) when she needs it. I also receive very helpful tips whenever I have a question! I recommend Ambulatory Care over another other pharmacy in the area! Keep up the AMAZING work!!

I can not say enough regarding how incredible this pharmacy is. Not only have they been the fastest to fill EVERY prescription both myself and my family has ever had, literally 4-5 times faster then any CVS I've been to, but their customer service is the best and I have never felt a pharmacy has cared for myself or family as much as this one. If you want the BEST service and FASTEST script fillings, look no farther then ambulatory care on Blackwell Rd.

I have been filling my medications at Ambulatory Care for at least 5 years now and have had nothing but great experiences with them. I’m always in and out pretty quickly, even if I have to wait for something to be filled. I usually am helped out by Katrina (who is a delight) but everybody else that works there is friendly and professional as well. I highly recommend Ambulatory Care Pharmacy!

The employees are friendly and welcoming. They are also very knowledgeable, if you have any questions about your prescriptions they will answer them. If you need to speak to the pharmacist for any reason, they are always there to help. It is not a franchise and you can tell, in a good way. It has that welcoming mom and pop shop feel. I love this pharmacy and all those who work here. You can tell the hard work and dedication they put into the business. The wait time is short, the store is clean and they have plenty of seating if you wamt to sit while you wait. Also, one of my favorite things is they have a stand at the front that holds tons of free print outs and pamphlets on both general health and a large variety of health issues and conditions. They just have so many that have helped me personally. It's awesome. Highly recommended.

By far one of the best pharmacies. I have been coming here for well over 10 years before you moved into the new place. Everyone is always helpful and goes way out of the way to make sure you understand your prescriptions. Katrina and Zach are always on top of there game and making sure that the insurance companies don't screw you. Thank you for all your help

This pharmacy is one of the best pharmacies ever and they treat you like family. The quality service provided will make your life so convenient. The staff there is friendly, knowledgeable and always greets you with a smile. I highly recommend.

So amazing, they are ALL the most helpful caring and friendly group of people!! From the most wonderful pharmacist who has come out to the parking lot and giving me a vaccine so that I can remain healthy and safe, always taking such wonderful care of me and my prescriptions !! They make me feel safe and cared for which is especially wonderful in this awful situation that we are all dealing with now.

Ambulatory Care pharmacy has been very helpful to me. They’re close by and are usually fully stocked with what I need. They follow up with doctors and insurance and call me if there’s a problem. If I call with questions the pharmacists have taken the time to talk to me. It’s rare that I have to wait for more than 5 minutes to pick up. The only problem in my case is while during Covid hours it was difficult to get there before they closed but I think they’re back to regular hours now. Nice people.

I have depended upon Ambulatory Care Pharmacy for the last 15 years. The chain pharmacies can not come close to providing the individual compassion that I have received. (among many, many other patients I have personally encountered as well.) The entire staff is immensely knowledgeable, personable and go above and beyond to provide top customer service at ACP. Unless I have an urgent medical matter that involves receiving medication after hours or while ACP is closed, ACP is THE ONLY pharmacy I choose. Special order requests, they got you covered. Questions or concerns about any and all medications, they got you covered. If a medication is expensive, the staff at ACP will communicate with you as well as make every attempt to locate financial assistance. Joe, the owner and Pharmacist has assisted tens of thousands of patients across the globe as they have a subspecialty in fertility medications. There truly are no words to express my immense gratitude for their years of care they have provided not only for me but for my household as well. Ambulatory care pharmacy is more than my personal pharmacy; I also consider them part of my family.

Since I've been going to my Pain Mgmt Specialist Doctors. Starting around 2005 or 2006 Up unto this year still in 2018? I've been getting my medicines from this Pharmacy every Month. They're very convenient since they're open 7 days a week! I drive from Stafford, VA. All the way to Rockville, MD to this Pharmacy for my special medication & without fail they've always come through for me. If they don't carry the usual meds I'm on? They will notify me in advance and let me know about it but they always have a replacement medication for me.Of a different brand.Also, they'll tell me all information regarding another brand. Extremely professional staff. The head pharmacist(s) are the best I've ever done business with by far! Compared to any pharmacy I've been to in all these years! Plus they carry on a rack in the entrance on the left side a HUGE stack of very knowledgeable facts on every type of illness you can think of in alphabetical order! (Free!) A lot of pharmacies could certainly learn quite a lot of how to handle customers in a professional way by just watching these experts in action. I wouldn't trade this place with any other place ever!

This pharmacy has since moved to another location, Blackwell rd. Joe is still around, I see him from time to time. The Head pharmacist, Jake, is an awesome pharmacist!
