MUST TRY!! Everything was exceptional. The waiters were attentive, the meals were timed perfectly and the entrees (specifically the seafood risotto) was absolutely phenomenal. Also a perfect spot for romantic date night.

Great food and atmosphere. However, the French bread is really too hard to bite. Most part of bread is outside hard shell, and there is almost no soft part even inside. These hard part would harm the teeth, especialy I saw most customers are older people. If you could make better bread (other restaurants made crispy and bitable French bread well), it would not waste so much. See the photo.

Very nice and cozy restaurant. Very old school vibe which is amazing. Live music was great. The service was fast and good. The food was delicious and tasty. Overall really enjoyed our anniversary there and will definitely come back again.
The only complain that I have is their chair! I know it looks rustic which is good but they are really old and not comfortable. I hope they change them with other rustic chairs.

What a nice place. Great food and service in a beautiful atmosphere.

My wife usually isn't anxious to return to any restaurant soon after we visit, but La Ferme is an exception.

Started with a French onion soup and an endive salad. Both amazingly good.

I had the salmon and my wife had the liver. She said it was the best liver she's ever had. The salmon was perfectly cooked and so good.

Dessert was a souffle and a piece of the chocolate and Grand Marnier mousse cake. we ordered dessert when we ordered our entrees since the souffles take time to make. Both excellent.

I can't recommend La Ferme enough.

Beautiful restaurant with excellent white glove service. Has both, outdoor and indoor seating areas. Menu is limited but covered salads to burgers. Food was properly prepared and was rich in flavours. They had a very good wine selection, even my favorite - Porto. The souffle alone is worth a visit, just remember to order the souffle early, takes 30 min to cook. I also enjoyed a season dish, cream if pumpkin soup which was heavenly.

Objectively five stars! Not like when you grade a good diner or pizza joint on a curve. Excellent variety of dishes. I had lamb, my friend had softshell crab. The lamb is flavorful, tender, and cut into perfectly sized slices. Accompanied by green beans and broiled tomatoes and zucchini. I had never tried softshell crab before. Wowww. This is the place to get introduced to that dish! Now that I know how it should taste, I am a fan.

We went for our Valentine's dinner. It's a really good place for a date if you want a wonderful meal and excellent service. I'm pretty sure you'll be happy with anything you get here because it is all excellent quality. Also don't forget to order the souffle when you order your entree. It's a must have when you go. I had the hazelnut souffle and I couldn't have been more pleased.

We had our wedding here in 1990! It was perfect. The food was actually amazing and it didn’t feel like “wedding” food. We try to go back whenever we are in town (about once a year) and are never disappointed. The quality of the food, the charming atmosphere and the service are still excellent!

Filet mignon and the chicken were both cooked to perfection, super tender and flavorful! The atmosphere was cute. A tad expensive but that’s what you get with French restaurants sometimes.

Food is excellent. Get the french onion soup and the foie gras. Cesar, scallops and veal. Service never disappoints. It has been on Brookville road for longer than I can remember. Go and make reservations. They will play happy birthday on piano and the whole restaurant sang. Wonderful.

Wow what a romantic restaurant ❤ they had a piano player, cozy fire going and secluded balcony dining. The scallop appetizer, trout amandine and the chocolate soufflé were delicious. The pink love cocktail was nice as well. I'd love to come back next time I'm near DC. Parking was no issue due to their large lot. The service was how I like it. They don't bother you the whole meal but they do check in and refill waters.

the best French restaurant inside the beltway. Always bustling not with tourists but with real locals. On a typical night you’ll hear Happy Birthday played half a dozen times by the live pianist on the floor. Francophone staff adds to the authenticity of the service and the meals served. Staff will recommend certain items to be ordered early on to ensure their readiness by the time we are ready. Excellent all around. One can see why the restaurant needs no large street level signs to entice further business.

I am looking for more stars. I think I found it! Merci, merci beaucoup La Ferme. What a class act even in these dire times. This restaurant has been a gem on Brookville Road for the past 35 years. Eat your heart out French Laundry. I am back in the Tang Dynasty when fireworks were invented. The flavors of our dinner were explosive. This dinner was for a special occasion and every special request was met on point. The food was brought to our car piping hot, the bread felt like it just came out of the oven, the birthday cake came with candles - perfection beyond unbelievable. Who would have thought you could carry out Chateaubriand and accompaniments. Thank you Chef and crew for making my night. The only shortcoming was the bearnaise sauce was missing tarragon. Unfortunately these pictures do not do justice to the dinner. If you were to dine in, their presentation would be so much more elaborate. But, dinner was fabulous.

Special place that took a special same day Reservation for 18 when my mom passed away that morning. Food was excellent. Recommend the steak frites.

Sweetbreads are wonderful. Grand Marnier crepes are a bit skint on the liqueur, but well cooked. Service is impeccable.

Nicely lit open dining room with live music and delicious authentic French cuisine. Pleasantly surprised by how filling the portions were considering how small most French restaurant portions are.

La Ferme was the perfect location for hosting my sister's Baby Shower. The event manager, Prasad, was timely and detailed in his communication. The space was beautiful, the food was great and the service was awesome. Thanks for helping us to bring this event together!

Beautiful restaurant with high ceilings, live music (piano), and still very cozy. Service is good but could be better (e.g., clear bread plates when main comes as tables are small). Drinks (we had French 75 and Bordeaux) were top! Mains were delicious and made to order (medium for lamb and medium-well-done for liver) (Fotos: Roast top round lamb with herb de Provence and gratin dauphinois; Sautéed Calf Liver with caramelized onions, apple wood smoked bacon and mashed potatoes).

Great food , ambience, music , not noisy at all to me. Parking and it’s like a local neighborhood gateway to a relaxing enjoyable dinner. Love it!

A local institution, very traditional. If you love tradition French Food you must visit.

The food is marvelous; the menu elegantly showcases the rich culinary traditions of France, characterized by its impeccable flavors, techniques, and presentation. We usually start with "Hors d'oeuvres," such as foie gras served on toasted brioche.
