Being, and purchasing a property, from out of state can be a very difficult task. However, working with Michael made it easier than purchasing local. Not only does Michael understand and know the market like the back of his hand but he treated the process as though he were purchasing his own property. We explained exactly what we were looking for and from there Michael found it and worked to get us a great deal in this market. His efforts didn’t stop there though. With a couple of repairs that needed to addressed he coordinated and made sure they were completed by visiting the property, inspecting the work, and forward pictures. Again handling it as though it were his own. In our opinion he has gone over and above during and after the transaction taking all the stress of the process off of us. For all who view this review, I highly recommend Michael as he sets the bar high and should be recognized as the Gold Standard of realtors!

Coming from Charlotte up to the Lake Norman area I was referred to Michael Richards. For a first time buyer I had no experience or knowledge about the process and what was right for me. Michael assisted us with our relo to the Charlotte area. He is very knowledgeable of the neighborhoods and helped us match to a lifestyle we were accustomed to. Michael was great with selling my home within 2 hours of it going on the market for full asking price. I have delayed this review regarding Michael Richards for a very good reason. That reason was being too exuberant about the undertaking Michael Richards did for me. Its been a month or two so now, I feel more objective. Over the years I have purchased and sold 6 residences. By far Michael Richards is the absolute BEST . Rather you are buying or selling, Michael is working with you. He provides excellent advice, handles obstacles during the whole process. Simply stated, Michael Richards is the best partner you can have as your agent. My advice to anyone considering Michael Richards is follow his recommendations and you will be money ahead.

In a crowded, competitive market such as Charlotte, you see a lot of self proclaimed "experts" that are dressed the part, tell you what you want to hear etc. The reality is often times they're out for their own best interest, not yours. You can sense the deception followed by the obligatory phrase of " it's only gonna go up in value." As a first time buyer, that was NOT my main objective. I wanted something that would suit my busy lifestyle, not a project. Michael was a class act from start to finish. No obligations, no pressure or trickery.

Michael is not new to town. You'd be hard pressed to find someone more knowledgable about EVERY neighborhood from Lake Wylie to Mooresville. Pair that with a selfless, patient approach catered towards your needs, its like finding a needle in a haystack.
