Very friendly staff and they were able to fit me in quickly. During Covid (2020) Dr. Nic extracted a tooth for me when my regular dentist could not see me. I was very pleased with his work but did not make the change over as a permanent patient, which I regret. Fast forward to 2024 and I went back to my regular dentist after all of that and was told I would have to spend thousands on dental work in every corner of my mouth and would have to pay before they could put me in their schedule. I decided to get a second opinion as I felt something in my gut was off. At Calm Waters they found just two areas that needed work and one tooth they want to just keep an eye on since there was no point in doing unnecessary fillings. Of course, the cost was significantly lower plus when they quoted me I was told to pay after services were rendered. I felt they were honest and not out to make you pay for unneeded work. If you’re looking for honest and reliable work to be done, I highly recommend Dr. Nic and his staff.

I highly recommend Calm Waters Dentistry. I go to the Statesville office and the entire staff is knowledgeable, calm and reassuring. I’ve had dental surgery and cleanings there. I plan to have all my dental care there!

My experience was excellent, very welcoming staff , I had minimal waiting time and best if all Nick is awesome he explains everything he is doing and makes your experience as pain free as possible. No complains for the past three years. From root canal, fill ins, cleaning and gum recession surgery..... Service was excellent! I would recommend calm waters Dentistry to anyone.

Dr Nick and his staff are amazing! He has done my wife’s root canal and I am currently going through a dental implant procedure. They are very professional and treat you like family. I highly recommend them.

I have had nothing but good experiences at Calm Waters Dentistry. The best dental cleaning I have ever had. Dr. Wentworth had to replace a filling a few years ago, and I didn't have any pain.

Since I was a young girl, I've been terrified of going to the dentist. When I told them that I was scared they downplayed my fears. Until I went to Calm Waters Dentistry. This is the first dentist I have gone to where I feel like I'm listened to and respected. If I'm uncomfortable, they take the time to help me relax and they explain what they're doing before it happens. I can't recommend them enough!

My 9yr old daughter had a skooter accident on a Sunday late afternoon playing with neighborhood kids. There was a lot of blood and a partial permanent tooth missing. A friend reached out to Dr Nick Wentworth and without hesitation he came to the office to meet us. He was SO kind and calming with our daughter. He was able administer several numbing injections and she was at complete ease as he talked her thru the whole process. He bonded the broken piece back and filled the rest of the tooth and it looks FABULOUS! Not only did he calm her with his cool collective bedside mannner he also was able to ease my worry as well. Absolutey a great experience! Thank you Dr Nick!

I have been to many dentist in my life and I will have to say that Calm Waters is the best. They treated me with kindness and were very caring. They explained everything that needed to be done, gave me the option to choose what I would like to do, and then we came up with a care plan. I have lots of issues with my teeth and I was very self conscious about it. I look forward to going back and start the process of getting my teeth fixed. So very thankful.

Dr. Nick is the best dentist I have seen in years. He’s genuine and kind with his patients and is easily accessible for questions and concerns. He makes the numbing shots go by quick and is better at it than anyone I’ve ever seen. Their hygienist Kristi is pretty awesome too.

First time I went to a dentist in a long time, I had a toothache for several months, I was nervous, it turned out the tooth was not infected, he pulled the tooth at the first appointment, guided me through the procedure, very professional, and very reasonable priced, would highly recommend him to anyone
