I am attending the DOCC, continuing education course at Mitchell College. At the continuing education building. So far, our instructors are well versed and quite knowledgeable.

The course runs five weeks. We are in our first week. Getting our PT assessments. Going over all the aspects of the jail. Confinement, de-escalation tactics. Jail security systems etcetera.

If you choose to work in any jail or prison system. Within the state of North Carolina. You will be sent to this course by your sheriff's department. Prior to finishing your first year in that facility.

I suggest you be in some sort of physical shape. Come prepared to be given quite a bit of information.

Called asked for Christmas I even donated money for others for Christmas this year well my kids have NO CHRISTMAS AT ALL IF I NEW MY DONATIONS I WOULD HAVE KEPT FOR MY OWN I DIDNT NEED 100 DOLLERS WORTH OF STUFF !!! I COUOD HAVE USED IT ON MY OWN KIDS WICH IS FINE !! MOM HAS A LOOK WAYS MASE IT RIGHT AFTER THERE DAD HAS LET THEM DOWN SO MSNY TIMES !!!

Reception area is on parking lot level however, all interview or meeting rooms are not wheelchair accessible from there. There are +/- 6-8 stairs to climb to access the remainder of the building. There may be alternate entrances at street or parking lot areas. I'm not sure. Last time I was there, I was not wheelchair bound, so there was no need to inquire then.

Unbelievable. Here we are in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic and HR at this district is heartless. My dear friend was denied the accommodations to work remotely this year (she has worked for this district for over 5 years). She has a written letter from her ONCOLOGIST, because she been fighting CANCER. In the letter from her ONCOLOGIST, they have reccomended she work from home or an offsite location. The district and her school are aware of her Cancer and her asthma, but says she has to come in every day and she can just "stay in the office and shut the door." Wow. Just wow....

I hate that they block all the websites on the Mac book because why do we have them if theres nothing to do on them I hate when they block everything on here why can't they unblock everything else on the weekend why do we take them home if theres nothing to do on them all there is is school stuff on there and over the weekend if we want to play a game on there ohhhh EVERYTHING IS BLOCKED ON HERE WHY SHOULD WE TAKE THEM HOME they give the MacBooks to us to get money from us the prices are so stupid I can get a MacBook Pro cheaper to get it fixed than what they tell you what the price is when you brake it 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

I dislike very much that the schools are closed for 3 days now,primetime is closed as well.is not that serious out there they could open with delays but open up.what am i supposed to do with my children I need to go to WORK
