We first enjoyed these fabulous pies when we previously lived in Davidson. Now we drive there from Indian Land, SC for these still-fabulous pies. I’ll admit that we’re stuck in a rut these days; we’re hooked on Steve’s fantastic Lemon Meringue Pies. Yes, we make the two and one half hours round trip for Steve’s pies! We have also had Apple, Cherry, Peach, Strawberry-Rhubarb and others and they are fantastic. All these fillings are great but Steve has definitely “cracked the code” with his crust! We have never had better pie crust. These pies are fantastic and so are Steve and his staff. Steve, please don’t change a thing!

Why five stars???

They did everything right !

Giggles at the sign grandpas shop grandpas rules. The proprietor is genuinely funny at the same time doing business selling pies.

Choices galore. Banana. Apple crumble, mixed berry crumble, pecan, and so many more.

SAMPLES - two choices available. Apple crumble and mixed berry crumble. I tried the Apple it was delicious.

Three different mini pies. Rhubarb, apple crumble and a pecan. Yummy great crust even better filling.

I wanted a mini mixed berry but unfortunately they were out. Only large available today. No problem just an excuse to come back.

Clean clean clean.

Quick, efficient, clean and ALL the flavors.

I would have taken pictures of all three pies but two were eaten before I had a chance. And apparently they were so good those individuals wouldn’t even share a bite.

Topper… my spouse does not leave reviews…she just called the pie shop to tell them how fantastic her pie was. OMG these are so gooooood!

After dropping my son off at the Charlotte airport, somehow home I ended up taking a way home back to Asheville that resulted in this being the closest pie shop I could get to. I was supposed to bring a pie for dinner. I called ahead and asked about the status of apple pies. I was told there would be one. I ended up getting a traditional apple pie and then an apple and berry crumble. I only needed the traditional pie. Everybody at the dinner loved it. I tried to find a home for the other part because I was like I don’t need this at my house. And the pies are about $30 each. So I didn’t wanna throw it away. Y’all, I cut it up into pieces in flash froze it. And I just took out a piece and put it in the microwave for 30 seconds and ate it. It’s the best decision I’ve made in a long time. That is some good pie!!!

Oh my goodness! These pies are outstanding!! On a whim, I was needing a fix for a pie and found Carolina Pie Company on the internet. I bought a mini pecan bourbon pie and a bumbleberry pie. I ate the mini pecan first and it was very good. I kept looking at the bumbleberry pie and said why not and had a piece of that too! I am so glad I found this business.

My now husband and I had pies for our wedding and they were delicious! They were a huge hit with our guests. We had 8 in total; the flavors were Chocolate Chess, Apple Crumble, Peach, and Key Lime. I wish we had some to take home but am so glad we didn’t! So many people wanted to know who made them. We enjoyed meeting with the owner and had great communication with them. We will definitely be back!

These pies are absolutely amazing and everybody who works there are delightful. They have a small seating area in their shop which is perfect when my friends and I want a sweet treat. If you are so lucky to see a cherry pie in stock, grab it ASAP! It’s always sold out and is the best pie you could ever have!!!
The only reason this place doesn’t have 5/5 stars is because the same people used multiple accounts to give this company a 1 star review. Sad to see people want to drag down a small business.

I can’t believe how amazing this place is, we have been eating their pies for years. My daughter and I are both sugar-free and gluten-free so we typically miss out on baked goods. But Carolina Pie made us a GF, SF pie - and is was the best thing I’ve eaten since I started having food restrictions! I could eat one every day - that’s how good it was. 🥹 And they have these cute mini pies for the rest of the family.
This is a great family run business and the staff is beyond sweet and helpful. I highly recommend it!

I work at a fire station near Carolina Pie. Today, some gracious folks called the station to ask if they could bring us a couple of pies. Who am I to say no?! Well they brought us a German Chocolate pie and a Pecan pie. I’ve only had one pie from here previously and it was a delicious Pumpkin pie. The Pecan pie did not disappoint!! SO GOOD!!!!! One of the other guys ate the German Chocolate and said it was incredible as well. These pies look as good as they taste. 4 out of 4 fireman highly recommend this place!

9/10/22: the owner stopped by the station today to give us some small pies. I had the chocolate chess and it was delicious!! Carolina Pie rocks!!! Thanks so much for taking care of your local firemen!

Mouthwatering delicious pies using the best ingredients. No preservatives, colors or gelatin. I love the seasonality of selections. Great for family, bring to a party, or share with friends.

Best peach pie I have ever had!! I randomly stopped in and was fortunate enough to get a warm pie fresh out of the oven. The crust was perfectly flaky. The consistency and flavor of the peaches were impeccable. Before I even tasted it, the pie was so beautiful I took a chance and ordered 2 pies (apple crumble and pumpkin) for Thanksgiving. I will be calling back to add a peach pie to the order! They even have mini pies so you can do your own taste test. Just try them! I hope they have a frequent pie-r program!

So glad I found this place!!! Big beautiful pies! They are super friendly and work hard to make delicious pies ready for pickup! I just had the Chocolate Chess pie. It's almost like eating a gooey fudge brownie inside a pie shell. Can't wait to try the strawberry pie in April when it's in season.

Excellent homemade pies. They do only one this and one this great. Pies baby! The old fashion apple is perfect combination of flakey crust that lets the fruit take center stage. The pecan pie is chewy filled with nuts and just the right amount of gooey without being overly sweet! Way to go guys.

My first time going here was on PI day. The young man working was super helpful with answering all my questions. I bought multiple mini pies, and they all were amazing.

I'm glad GPS has a photo of the outside it was kinda hard to find. My GPS took me to another business on the front side of the shopping strip, and they were located on the side.

I've taken a ferry 20mi up a lake in Washington to get to a bus to get to a bakery to get to their cherry pie. IOW from here to Mooresville is not convenient, but the pies are superb! Excellent crust. And the blueberries are the small wild Maine kind. Apple delicious with a rich flavor. Cherry is excellent, even if not as awesome as that Washington one. And the owners are really nice. Coffee was great, too, but I'm not as experienced on that.

A friend of mine highly recommended Carolina Pie Company and it did NOT disappoint! I ordered my husband's favorite pie, banana cream pie, for his birthday and he loved it! The homemade crust was amazing and the rest of the pie was equally as delicious! We will definitely be returning customers! Thank you!!!

Always get pies to eat here and take back to Alabama! Family and friends put their orders in every time they know we are going to Mooresville...at least 2x a year and 3x this year! BEST PIES EVER .. especially the tart cherry (most requested). Steve, Barb, Melanie and the whole staff are wonderful!

First time here —
There was some sort of mixup with our order, and when we arrived at the agreed pickup time, the pie hadn’t been made.

However, the woman, who I’m guessing is the owner, went above and beyond to make it right.
She offered to make the pie right then and have it to delivered to our home in time for our moms birthday dinner that evening. Momentary freak out aside, she really handled it super kindly and professionally. The offer to deliver for free was truly very kind and appreciated. The Atlantic beach pie was delicious!

We are definitely now going to be regular customers of Carolina pie! Can’t wait to try other flavors.

We bought five and sampled two more, all at least quite good, some extraordinary. The world needs more pie! This place has variety, but order ahead or arrive early if you are set on a particular flavor. Also check their website to make sure they are open before heading out. Go! Get! Pie!

I love this place. Very nice people, great pies! Today I tried the Southern Peach Crumble Pie; A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Not overly sweet, the texture is outstanding, great crust. Another home run!

I live out of state ,but I will make a special trip just to enjoy there pies. Always fresh and delicious! I just wish that they shipped they pies so I could enjoy them more frequently. Please keep up the good work!
