Rio Grande Kitchen & Cantina - New Garden Location

This place has an amazing assortment of Mexican food. Make sure to visit here on Taco Tuesday and they have the special of hard or soft tacos, chicken or beef for 1.99 and they top it with lettuce and cheese. The homemade salsa here is good and very fresh with the cilantro.

The music was perfect, not too low and not too loud!! There were other people in the restaurant but we couldn’t hear their conversations. The booths are very comfortable!! If you’re looking to grab drinks the bar is perfect for that. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious, I didn’t even need salt or pepper because it was nicely seasoned.

My first time trying here and a small place perfect for an authentic Mexican foods. Everything was fresh and hot despite going on taco Tuesday for .99cent tacos with a drink order they were busy and came with everything pretty quick! This place was delicious.

Covid reasons they are keeping tables inside to a minimum it seems like. There is a good size patio area too!

Always have a great meal here! Service is exceptional. Servers really seem to care about their level of service and your experience. Food came quickly; was hot and delicious!!

1st visit to Rio Grande Greensboro. It is equal and sometimes better than other Tex-Mex restaurants. For instance, it's equal to Kiosco in food and service, and better than Mexico restaurant in food, atmosphere and service. Great Monday specials: kids eat free and bottled beer $1.99. Enchiladas are best I've had in Greensboro. Prices are quite reasonable. I'll be back soon. Ask server to help vegetarian choices and dietary restrictions.

went with friends and the food was very good!! very good service as well. our waitress was a blonde, i think evelyn was her name, and she was very kind to us and made the experience amazing!!

Came here on Cinco de mayo expecting to wait a bit cause it was slightly busy. When we got our food in less than 10 minutes I was impressed.

Mu kids and husband wanted to watch the Spanish Soccer game on Sunday while having lunch. We asked if possible and they located us at the bar with 2 tvs just for us! We stayed 2 hours and everyone was so kind and the service was awesome! They really male you feel comfortable! The food? AHmazing! Everything fresh and tasty from the chips with salsa to the fajitas all was delicious but my two favs were the carne asada fries and the Guacamole Fresca OMG totally worth it!

Ordered the steak fajita bar through uber eats and we were impressed with the portion sizes! Enough for two meals for our family of 5. The steak was a bit salty and dry/tough for our liking but overall the meal was pretty good

I like the $2 taco special on Tuesdays. You just have to buy a beverage. I get some to go too and they include a bag of chips and salsa!

Me and my family ate here and the Food tasted amazing you can take a few bites and get full I definitely recommend this place the service is quick and fast the food is very fulfilling

I like the quick service here very much. Visited 3 times It was a good choice too. I will be here again next time. 😊 Evening time sometimes feels expensive, but it's satisfying.

Courteous, attentive service, good food and generous portions, decent atmosphere but the background music was a bit too loud for me, making it difficult to hear all eight fellow guests at our table. We will go back.

Rio on New Garden is always great! We keep finding new things to try - lately it was the Hibachi Rio style.
