Simply the Best. Dr. Whinery- is the most thorough doctor I have ever met. She listens but also doesn't just tell you what you want to hear. The quality of care is unmatched. She also is always timely and sticks close to schedule. Her staff is always nice and easy to work with. I have been all over the country and you will not find a better doctor anywhere.

My family has gone here for many years and really enjoyed the experience. However, personally, I've had quite a bit of trouble. It's hard to get an appointment and then I have had to call in numerous times to get follow up exams, which are promised to be scheduled for me.

This review is strictly for the office staff and not the providers since they barred me from being able to see a physician.

I am new to the area and after a lot of research, I was told Rebecca Lewis would be a great fit for my kids. I went online and made an appointment with her. The morning of the appointment I woke up with my voice almost completely gone and Covid symptoms so I immediately called the office and left a message to cancel the appointment. My intention was to call as soon as possible so the doctor could hopefully fill our appointment slot since it was in the afternoon. After not receiving a follow up call, I assumed my message had been received and they were awaiting my aforementioned rescheduling call. The next month I scheduled again for a Monday appointment. While at work on Thursday, I believe, I received a call from the office saying my appointment would need to be rescheduled due to the doctor being unavailable. My coworker said her daughter’s had to be rescheduled too and it was a month out so I figured I would just call sometime next week and see what the earliest appointment would be at that time. Then on Monday I received a voicemail from someone in the office stating my account was noted and I was no longer able to schedule there. I would need to find a new provider.
I was completely shocked and called back. The receptionist transferred me to another woman who repeated the message to me. She said I “no showed” for that first appointment and when I said I didn’t and explained exactly what happened, she said “well, you also didn’t show up for today’s appointment” I explained that I had gotten a call that my doctor wasn’t available so how am I in trouble for not coming to an appointment that was cancelled for circumstances beyond my control? I maintained my composure and attempted to ask her again what exactly I did wrong. She just kept repeating there was a note made by the office manager and there was nothing she could do. I asked for a call back from the office manager and never received one so here we are. I have managed medical offices in the past and this is insane to me.

I’ve never been treated like this before and it’s shocking and unprofessional.

First question I asked when making this appointment over 2 1/2 months ago was if they accepted my insurance. Was assured that they did. Showed up and was told they must not have known what I qas talking about when I asked. Then why the hell would you say yes. Two and a half friggin months!!

Do not recommend Dr.Cochran. He needs to go finish school to learn to be a doctor.
