Boomarang Diner Norman (Porter)

They have really yummy food! Got the bacon ranch hamburger & fries. Asked for the bacon on the side. They have the flatter type patties, which isnt my fave, but was still good! The ranch is also better than most! Definitely try this place out 😊

Nice clean dinner with good food priced right. Waitress was friendly and helpful. Decor reminds me of diner’s of the 60s. Got the old fashioned burger with tater tots and it was good. This was my first time and will definitely be back again.

Nice little diner feel. Boomerang serves a variety of food. The burgers are delicious and the onion rings are too. The service is friendly and quick. The food is served hot and full of flavor!

The renovations are gorgeous. Very family friendly environment. Our waitress Kim was awesome and seemed to be on top of everything for us! Service with a smile. Will definitely come back.

If you are looking for good cheap good, definitely come here. Diner experience, great staff, got food quickly but came at noon. Totally coming back. Husband got the open faced sandwich covered in everything, I ate half as usual Yummy!!!

On Mondays they serve half-price hamburgers. Very good service and delicious food. Will return there soon!

Anyone know if this place used to be called J-Pats? I hadn’t been back to Norman in decades but used to live (hometown) and work here and J-pats in the 80’s had the best pizza burgers that I would get every day for lunch. It was owned by a guy who had some sort of an eye deformation or old injury and he always hired the local high school kids to give them jobs especially during the summer.

Very good breakfast, the best coffee, and the servers are super nice, every time I go,which is alot it's outstanding

Love the old Hollywood atmosphere and the waitresses are very nice. Always get our food fairly quickly and the prices are hard to beat. Their mozzarella sticks are a must on your visit.

One of the new addition to Norman Diners. It's nice and clean. Food are fresh and good, very affordable. Service was also great. I liked the classic diner atmosphere. Overall, a nice little place to try it out.

We arrived nearly at closing time so it was a brief experience. The ladies at the counter were tired, you could tell, but they were friendly and attentive as could be. The atmosphere is so cool. It's fun to see how many celebrities you can recognize in the pictures around the restaurant. The restaurant and bathrooms were incredibly tidy for it being the end of the day. When we realized we were there after closing (the ladies at the counter never mentioned they were closing, they just let us continue to eat. Nice!) we asked for to-go boxes because I was not about to leave my friend mushrooms and that delicious ranch dressing (they should bottle that up and sell it). All of our food was great, fresh, and made to order. Nothing has set under a light or in a warmer. As soon as we were ready to leave a very strong rain storm rolled through, I was soaked through but my mushrooms made the trip home more tolerable. All in all I will addhave to give The Boomerang restaurant in Norman, OK an above average rating. Excellent really for the courtesy they extended us at such a late hour. Thanks!

The Patty Melt burger is absolutely perfect and the onion rings are very tasty as well. The women working there are super laid back. The cooks are holding it down as well💪🏾💪🏾

This has become my go to place for both breakfast and 1/2 price hamburger on mondays. Never been disappointed

Great little diner on Porter Street. Had the chicken fried steak dinner and ot came with mashed potatoes, a small salad, and texas toast.

It was hood food at a decent price. It's nothing to make a road trip for, but if your driving by it's worth stopping in and grabbing a bit.

The waitress missed on our order, but it's not the end of the world. We enjoyed it anyhow.

Best burger in town. Monday is 1/2 price burger night. Try the JJ
