We stayed here on Wednesday, March 13.

We drove down to Isle of Palms, but hadn't booked a place to stay yet, since we weren't quite sure where we'd want to stop/be ready for some sleep.

I called the hotel and said we'd be arriving within 90 minutes and they were able to book us right away. The room that was available was the King suite and it was exactly what we needed.

Check in was super easy and Anne was very friendly and got us in our room very quickly.

We were exhausted from a full day of driving, but as soon as we walked into our room, we were so happy! It is probably the best room in the entire place...top floor...ocean view...and as soon as you open the windows, you get the ocean air and hear the waves. It was so nice!

The bathroom was great and our king bed was just a little floppy when you sit on the edge of the bed...totally fine and comfy when you're lying in it. And I always love when a hotel room has something other than carpet, so that was nice to see the floors in there too.

Highly recommend. Would absolutely stay there again!

Bonus...we set our alarms for 7:30am and were greeted with the most AMAZING sunrise ever! Right from our balcony!

The room was clean and cozy. Beachfront with one King bed. Everything worked. Minor repairs needed, but they didn't impact our stay (shower rod was loose, soap dispenser cover loose). I would be pleased to stay here again. Despite prior reviews, the elevator works fine. The walls are a bit thin...

We had a wonderful time during our stay here! The rooms were clean and the lobby areas were spotless. The front desk was helpful and every employee I encountered was friendly. Easiest beach access of any place I've stayed. The hot coffee, tea, and cocoa access was nice throughout the day. Very convenient to shops and food. We are fans of traveling in the off season and this place was perfect!

Great micro hotel. Ocean view rooms are spacious and well worth the extra up charge. Front desk and housekeepers were very friendly and welcoming. Beds are soft yet firm. Lots of extra pillows as well. Microwave and mini fridge are great additions. Typical hotel continental breakfast included. Parking is limited under the hotel to around 10 very tight spaces. Garage height limit is only 75”. Parking is $10 a day extra and will be added onto your bill at the end of your stay. There are 2 lots across the street for parking. A parking pass is issued for these from the hotel. They are also $10 a day as well. If it calls for heavy rains the streets do flood. Prepare accordingly and look for higher parking areas. I’ve included some pics of Lot B and the surrounding streets. Local restaurants are good and there are some typical souvenir shops across the street. Beach access is available from under the hotel via boardwalks.

This hotel is darling and is in a great location! The lobby staff were so kind and the rooms were clean. The walls are a bit thin, but it wasn’t too much or a problem. Absolutely planning on staying here again in the future 😊

We were very satisfied with the room. It was clean, and welcoming with an open layout. The bed was comfortable and relaxing. The location was perfect. It was oceanfront with great access to the beach. Several restaurants and shops within walking distance.

It's a nice place, the room we had was 100% handicap accessible, an electric scooter or not overly large electric w/c would easily navigate the room including shower, sink, toilet. The only drawback, and this would be in any hotel near the beach, was parking. There is limited parking under the hotel, but parking can be found on the streets nearby. It could be problematic in the busy season, but we went 2nd week of February.

Classic beachfront getaway boutique hotel! We spontaneously booked the room on our way into the island. We had a partial beach view that was perfect. Check in service was wonderful!
Walkable to everything! Great continental breakfast was perfect before a beach stroll.
Thank you for a great visit.

Great, clean, friendly get away with free breakfast. On the ocean, close enough to walk everywhere on your stay. Parking is limited under the Hotel but more than enough within a short walking distance.

First time staying here and will make plans to return. The location is great right off the beach. The room we stayed in was the oceanside king suite, which has a patio with an unobstructed view of the beach. The room is fairly large, a king bed, sitting room, bathroom, etc. The best thing is everything is close by. The boardwalk connecting the parking area to the beach, stores, restaurants, and tourist attractions are within walking distance. Seeing and hearing the beach during the day and night makes this well worth it.

Amazing experience. Rooms were very clean and the cleaning ladies were excellent and moved around like beautiful ghosts 😂 they never once bothered us but provided everything without us ever having to ask. Concierge was also remarkably helpful. The only negative I can think of, is that there wasn't any way to cook in the room and I don't like to dine out much but, vacation, so I did lol Besides that 9.9/10 would recommend.

Large room, well stocked with towels, coffee, and toiletries. Quiet island seems pretty safe, so I wasn't too disappointed in the constantly open keyed-security door. Cold breakfast bar with cereal, eggs and yogurt; microwave packaged items. Someone's review spoke about noise and I'd have to agree, the area outside of our room was noisy at times. The acoustics in the breezeway made a great spot for amateur singing and whistling at all times of the day and night. Inner room noise could be heard as well. Friendly staff. Quick walk to the beach and restaurants. Our stay was during the off season, so parking wasn't a problem.

Great place, but I would recommend having desk clerk to enter credit card info manually. Our card didn't swipe properly first attempt, so we ended up with two charges on card due to card read error. It takes several days for the extra pending charge to come off, tying up credit for the amount of stay on card thru entire vacation. Hotel manager nor credit card company could do anything to fix it.

Just took a little staycation here to kick off the new year since we both had the Monday after NYD off. Caught a deal through a third party booking site where it was only barely over $100 even after fees.

Front desk staff is incredibly nice (wish I rememberred the guy's name). Rooms are very spacious and clean. We had a city view room which I expected to be disappointed about, but around Christmas these rooms put you directly in front of the town Christmas tree, which was super cool! Loved that there was a walkway to the beach right under the hotel in the ground floor parking garage.

Parking is free, and you can either park in the garage if there is room or in the city-owned spaces on the street. Rooms have a mini-fridge and microwave. There is a pool, but we obviously didn't use it because it was January 🥶

About the only negatives I have say is that the breakfast options are virtually nothing. Cereal and granola bars. But mostly, being that our room was right next to the elevator, it was LOUD at night and I barely got any sleep. Maybe not five stars for several hundred a night on a summer weekend. But definitely five stars for what I paid.

Great service. Jack was super nice and helpful. Definitely deserves a bonus. Great location of course and nice rooms for being a beach hotel type place. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

Very nice hotel. First time ever seeing an ocean and the private balcony was perfect for just being able to sit and watch all night long. Wish I could have stayed longer. Kevin at the desk is super friendly and helpful. I wish I could remember the lady's name at the desk when I checked out, she was really friendly as well. Housekeeping had our room looking great and well stocked.

This was our first time visiting the Isle of Palms. The Palms Oceanfront Hotel is a great place to stay. Easy beach access and plenty of nearby restaurants, all within five minutes walking distance. The rooms are spacious and well- maintained. Free Wifi. We had a partial ocean view and could see the sunrise from the balcony.
