Seaside Inn

Ask for Brandy; she is a very nice person and takes her job seriously which is very refreshing. She was a delight and so was our short but sweet stay in this quaint, comfortable, thoughtful, clean, convenient and affordable location. It’s right next to the Windjammer and concerts there start up soon for the season. Once we got there we didn’t get into our car at all which was a treat!

Brandy at the front desk was great! The location is in the heart of everything that Isle of Palms has to offer. We enjoyed our stay, wished our balcony was private though but not a service issue...more of a design issue of the building. Loved the fresh coffee, pancakes, and other complimentary foods in the morning. I would stay here again.

We had a wonderful time. The hotel is a bit overpriced for being so outdated, but the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They have a nice continental breakfast with coffees and teas. The parking isn't great. The access to the beach was awesome!! I ABSOLUTELY would stay here again!! I'm not giving 5 stars across the board bc of the price, and we had some issues with our room. But overall, it was a pleasant experience. I love Isle of Palms!! Absolutely spectacular sunrise 🌅 I can't wait to get back!!

I arrived early and was allowed to check-in without hesitation. The room was clean and as advertised. When we returned from our day in Charleston, I talked to Diane about a possible upgraded room. Diane was extremely pleasant to deal with, listen to all of my issues and responded by allowing my wife and I to move accommodations. I woyod definitely recommend this location for a vacay, and definitely recommend Diane for a 5 star customer experience!

We love this hotel! Brandy at the front desk was extremely nice and friendly and knowledgeable. The location was perfect, right on the beach, and within walking distance of more than half a dozen restaurants. The room was spotless….nice, well stocked coffee maker, toiletries, good lighting, excellent wi-fi, and very, very comfortable beds. We loved the decor…beachy and traditional. Parking was free all day everywhere this time of year! The free breakfast was delicious….pancakes, cereal, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee. We can’t come up with anything to improve, and we will definitely be back!

I love the beach, being that I'm born and raised in a coastal city. This beach front hotel is a very great place to stay with its rooms being really clean with plenty of towels. The rooms are also supplied well with toiletries with a K cup coffee maker with condiments and coffee and tea. The views are panoramic and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It definitely deserves every one of the five stars given.

My husband and I love this place. Enjoyed a wonderful spontaneous anniversary weekend here. This is our 3rd stay at the Seaside Inn and they never disappoint us with the quality of service. We love to chat with Brandy when we are there but this time we had the pleasure of working with Diana. Diana was such a sweet lady and very accommodating considering we just walked in and asked for a room. This is always our first choice when visiting Isle of Palms. Will definitely recommend and keep coming back.

We have been coming to the Seaside Inn since 2011. We only ever get the same room. Brandy and Jack couldn't have been any nicer or more helpful. Brandy seems to keep the place rolling in the daytime and Jack keeps the evening shift running smoothly. We'll continue to keep staying at the Seaside Inn. P.S. we'd sure like to have oatmeal back out for breakfast.

This is a wonderful location for a beachfront stay conveniently located in the heart of IOP! We had a wonderful experience and Brandy in the front office was AMAZING. She was friendly, helpful and very kind. Our room had been renovated with comfortable CLEAN beds, decent size walk in shower, ample outlets/charging areas and a large TV. The grounds were clean for the most part (guests could clean up after themselves) and was being updated with fresh paint. Outdoor shower and foot wash is available when exiting the beach, but there is never a way to keep the sand out of the room in a million years!
Some things we noticed that may or may not be able to be improved were; it was hard to open the heavy door and navigate entering as the bed is right at the entrance as the rooms are on the small side. The doors have to be pulled tightly upon exiting to ensure they latch. There was a bit if a musty smell upon entering, but quickly dissipated once the door was left cracked for a bit. The air conditioner cooled the room, but things were left damp after showering (no exhaust fan). There was only one mirror located in the bathroom which made it difficult for multiple people to get ready for the day. The bathroom floor tile was buckled around the toilet area because of water buildup from exiting the shower. All in all, I would stay here again because of the friendly service, location and cleanliness of room.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The room was clean and the free breakfast was great! Diane that worked the front desk was exceptionally nice and accommodating and made our stay perfect!

This is my second time staying at this location. The location is perfect. Beachfront making the beach easily accessible. Perfect spot to walk to nearby restaurants, bars, and grocery store. The staff was incredible. Brandy made check in and check out easy. she was super friendly and courteous. Would recommend if visiting Isle of Palms!

The Seaside Inn was the perfect spot for my beach get-away. As advertised, it's right on the beach. Easy to get out there and start your sunbathing, morning walk, etc. The room was standard (2 queens, partial beach view), the bathroom updated and functional, and while parking underneath the Inn is pretty limited, the overflow lot is across the street and easy to find. The front desk staff was very accommodating, and the breakfast had your basic needs. There are plenty of walkable restaurants, cafes, and bars from the Inn. (My partner particularly like the Windjammer for its cheap beverages and food.) We will definitely come back here. It was everything we needed!

We had a wonderful time here! Brandy and Diane are awesome! This is an older oceanfront hotel. Small rooms, but clean and outstanding service! They have everything you might need, like soap and shampoo if you forget something. They always greet you when you enter. Very friendly and welcoming!

Diane, who checked us in, is an amazing front desk person who truly has customer service as her main priority! From recommending restaurants, to giving tips on local hangouts and things to see, she's the best! Definitely would stay again because of her excellent service!

They were so welcoming and helpful. The women there helped me with everything from carrying my luggage by hand because the rock was difficult for the carts to go on, to providing me directions to the nearest phone store when my phone broke! The establishment is right on the beach and you can just, walk right onto the shore as soon as you wake up. It was all sterile white and cottage-y, everything was super clean and open. It had the scent of a pool house, like chlorine and crisp linen, it smelled clean and fresh. The price was reasonable enough that I was able to stay a whole week instead of 3 days, and I spent just under $1000, a great deal. Thanks for making my birthday awesome! Love this place and the people here. :)

Once again another wonderful stay at seaside inn. Brandy and Diane are awesome and made our stay nothing short of amazing! Superior hospitality!!! The room was very clean. Super thankful for room service again if even just every other day. Pool is small but adequate for our family of 3. The a/c in room was cold and appreciated. Shower amenities were nice! Continental breakfast was yogurt, poptarts, coffee and cereal. We have came here 7 summers now and counting. Highly recommend seaside inn for your next isle of palms stay.

Clean, super cold rooms. Bed was nice and comfy. We brought a baby and we’re given a brand new pack n play for him to sleep in. Brandy was so accommodating and made my nephews first birthday and first beach trip a day well never forget

Room was clean, absolutely beautiful and staff especially Brandy went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Cannot wait to visit again next year.

This place is great in my own experience. It's right at the beach, has a continental breakfast, friendly and knowledgeable staff. There is a couple stores and restaurantes down the street if you want to shop and/or eat close by. One of the stores also has a talking bird named Bubba. Be sure to visit him and listen to him talk. This was my 3rd stay with Seaside Inn. Definately give them a try. I hope your stay is as good as mine was.

My friend took my son and I here for my baby's 1st birthday and we stayed here. The lady in the lobby, Brandy, was very sweet and accommodating to our needs. Location wise, it is right on the beach. Perfect trip, hoping to make this an annual thing.
