Homewood Suites by Hilton Charleston - Mt. Pleasant

A GREAT place to stay! Rooms were really nice! Only problem: They need more lamps / light fixtures as the rooms were dark. Service was fantastic! Kathy was wonderful! Breakfasts are well done, lots of room to hang out and relax, nice pool area. The location is superb, walking distance to lots of dining, gas, groceries, etc. Easy to get in/out of. I'd stay here again!

Homewood Suites offers spacious rooms at a good price point. The full kitchen and separate bedroom are really nice especially if someone wants to cook a meal or if one person is trying to sleep while the other is still up. The front desk staff is very nice. I spoke to Cathy at check in and J'Ayanna in the Hilton Honors app. They were both extremely helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was pretty good although I wish they offered bacon. The only complaints that I have is the wall needs some patch work (there was chipping of the drywall in the living room between the window and TV dresser) and they could dust a little bit better.
There were cobwebs on the ceiling. I've been to way worse hotels in terms of cleanliness so this hotel definitely meets expectations, but could exceed with a little more attention to detail. Overall, if you are in the Charleston/Mt Pleasant area I would highly recommend staying here.

This location was the best stay we have at a Homewood Suites. The property was clean and comfortable in all aspects that's required. Beds were new and strong. Sheets clean and fresh. The breakfast was as expected and fresh. The only complaint I have is the water pressure for the shower was low to my standards. The front desk ladies Patricia and Cathy were more than fine examples of Southern Hospitality. Keep up the good work. And all working the property. Down to the lawn men deserve a round of appreciation.👏🏽👏🏽

We spent about a week here and we were greeted every day by friendly staff and a traditional breakfast buffet. Everyone was very friendly and had great recommendations of places to go and things to do. It wasn't until we got there we realized how great of a location this is.... a very short walking distance from almost anything you need from restraunts, bars, shopping, even a target next door. We are planning to come back next time we are in town.

Great hotel to stay at with the family. A pack n play is provided if you’re traveling with a baby, great breakfast selection, and the location can’t be beat. Perfect for our trip to Charleston.

My experience was great. Their staff are very friendly and caring considering I was in town there for back surgery GREAT JOB to th entire staff.

Short drive to Charleston. Clean rooms and very comfortable. Staff was great. The breakfast was very good and different every morning. Awesome way to start the day.

We just wrapped up our stay at this location and I have nothing but good things to say. The reason I gave the rooms four stars is because they need a little bit of updating and a little bit of TLC. A fresh coat of paint and touching up certain things here and there go a long way. One drawer handle and front of the drawer was completely broken and looks like it was just glued back. Okay not a big deal but certain things like that should be looked into and addressed. Same thing goes for some of the hallways I notice a musty smell. Not enough to make me not want to come back but it just means some things need to be touched up and cleaned. All in all our stay here was great some people complain about communication with employees being bad I did not have this problem. We needed extra towels a box of tissues and our trash emptied within minutes somebody was up to do this. The location is fantastic It's 6 minutes to a beautiful beach and 20 minutes into the city of Charleston! I think the worst issue that we had was I've never used worse pillows in any hotel ever. They were just flat and had no support and just extremely uncomfortable. Again not something that would make me not come back

Our stay was most pleasant and we especially appreciated the accomodation made by Amanda upon check-in. A few other Perks, the entire staff was friendly and personable. The room was reasonably clean and the breakfast had a decent selection of food. We'd choose to stay here again.

Our favorite Homewood Suites, by far! The service is extraordinary. They make you feel like they’ve just been waiting on you to get there and anticipate your needs/wants like you are their VIP guest. We have stayed at this hotel for years and we’ve had many a meals by the pool, sat under the pergolas late into the nights, the kids love playing ball on their basketball court. It makes a long weekend away feel like a vacation! I can’t say enough about the service!!

Such a convenient location. There are sidewalks all around with shops and restaurants within walking distance. There is also a Super Target across the parking lot. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is very clean. The only issue we had was regulating the temperature and having both rooms (living room and bedroom) be comfortable at the same time.

One of the nicest hotel experiences I’ve had. The staff are wonderful and helpful. We had a one bedroom suite that was spacious and clean. Great breakfast with lots of variety. Lovely pool and interior courtyard. Dog-friendly with a little “forest” for them to explore, but make sure you use some bug spray before going out. Hotel is in an ideal location. It’s about a 10 minute drive to Isle of Palms and 20 minutes to downtown Charleston. Target, Harris Teeter, restaurants and small shops are all a short walk from the hotel.

WE stayed for three nights(6/13-15). This facility is extremely good. The staff are very professional and highly qualified. The rooms are fine and the king bed was very good. The breakfast was extremely good. Ms. Mary Ann was the primary person to control the food and she was very dedicated and helpful to all. The Wednesday night manager happy hour was very good in all respects and is a plus if your schedule permits. It's a five star plus!!! I highly recommend the facility if you are in the area.

We have stayed here multiple times within the past few months, we have stayed at most of the hotels in Charleston at some point, and this one is our family favorite by far! Super pet friendly, the staff is phenomenal! Everyone that works there seems truly happy with their jobs, always smiling and friendly. Love the grill area, have used the grill a few times, adult kids come over and we play games and grill out. He’s working and I take our dogs to lunch at one of the many places to eat, get ice cream, shop, run over to target. Amazing location. Highly recommend ❤

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel the second week of January.
The location is ideal.
There are a few restaurants, a grocery store and a Target all on the same property.
Amanda, the General Manager was nothing short of delightful.
The property is well maintained and the room was immaculate.
It is also very quiet.
I was greeted with smiling faces and warm regards with every member of staff during my stay.
The water pressure in the shower was strong and it heated up immediately.
Towels are plush and bed is so comfortable.
My only suggestion to any guest would be to bring your own bathing products.
While the hotel uses Neutrogena brand, you’ll get a better lather with your own brand and sponge.
I have already booked four rooms for the first weekend in March and will continue to use this hotel as my preferred location when ever I visit Charleston.

This was the best hotel experience I’ve had in a long time! Post pandemic seems like a lot of hotels have had staff shortages and I haven’t enjoyed staying in hotels, however this was wonderful for the price. Rooms were clean, great pool area, and super friendly staff.

Great location (although everything around it is overpriced). Very fast internet for a hotel. Everything was clean, staff was great.

My room was very nice and clean and spacious. The location was great, walking distance to many restaurants and wine bars and beer joints. Most restaurants are upscale in nature.

Hotel is great and the staff is amazing. Had a chance to speak with assistant GM *SUPER FRIENDLY*, who visited with us during breakfast. She explained that they are in the process of renovating the hotel rooms.

Every member of staff that we met in our three night stay was great. Breakfast was hot and tasty. Head of housekeeping was awesome as well. We will be back next time we're in Mt. Pleasant.

Can't express what a great time we had at your hotel. The room was great, very clean and comfortable. The staff was always friendly, helpful and accommodating. So convenient to the beach!! So many great restaurants around the hotel! Too many positives about this hotel to list. We will definitely be back. You guys played a big part in us having an awesome vacation!!
